Azure indexer for dynamic packaged asset

Hi I have an mp4 uploaded in the media services and I ran the Azure encoder to create a dynamic package of the video. I also ran the Azure indexer to create the index files for captions.
I am using the Azure Media Player using the iframe code below in my webpages, however I do not see the captions.
<iframe src="//aka.ms/azuremediaplayeriframe?url={mp4 url}" height="300" width="200" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen/>
I see the ttmland vtt files got created under the asset folder the source mp4 resided but nothing on the dynamically packaged asset. What is the correct way to reference the manifest to get the captions showing?
Thanks for any help.

Hi,
If you deploy the application to local Tomcat, can you access the site using root URL? The StackOverflow thread states it is needed to rename the war file to ROOT.war, and remove the out-of-the-box ROOT/ directory. Please double check whether you have done
that. You may also want to refer to
http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-7.0-doc/config/context.html, where it states:
The context path of this web application, which is matched against the beginning of each request URI to select the appropriate web application for processing. All of the context paths within a particular Host must be unique. If you specify a context path of
an empty string (""), you are defining the default web application for this Host, which will process all requests not assigned to other Contexts.
This attribute must only be used when statically defining a Context in server.xml. In all other circumstances, the path will be inferred from the filenames used for either the .xml context file or the docBase.
Even when statically defining a Context in server.xml, this attribute must not be set unless either the docBase is not located under the Host's appBase or both deployOnStartup and autoDeploy are false. If this rule is not followed, double deployment is likely
to result.
And this link(http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16160565/configure-the-path-localhost-of-the-war-application-to-be-the-root-java-ee
) may help you.
Thanks.

    AugustineHi - the source code isn't read in from a file by the database, it's actually stored in the database itself (have a look at the user_source view). Now you may have text files backups of your source code, that have been used previously to create the packages, but the database won't store any info about the file used to do this.

  • Is There any difference in Set @Var=ColmnName and Select @Var =Column from Table. I am using it in SSIs for Dynamic Packages

    hey there, Kindly elaborate me the difference Between Set and Select clause while Providing value to a Variable or Even  a  Column.
        Declare @var nvarchar(Max)
        Set @var= (Select TestName+ cAst(TestId as nvarchar) from TblTest where TestID=1)
        Insert into TblTest(TestName)
        Values (@var)
        Declare @var nvarchar(Max)
        Select @var= (Select TestNAme + Cast(TestId as Nvarchar(MAx)) from TblTest Where TestID=1)
        Insert into TblTest(TestName)
        Values(@var)
    Values and result I am getting is Same in Both.
    But just wondering if there is any Difference. and if Any which Should I prefer.
    And Which one uses less Resources.

  • How do u use SDO_RELATE for dynamic theme

    Hi ,
    I have line geometry. For this line geometry I have to create a buffer using SDO_GEOM.SDO_BUFFER and I have to check whether the given point geometry is with in this buffer.
    How can i do it?
    i have used buffer and SDO_RELATE but its giving error as
    "SDO_RELATE can not be used with out Spatial Index". Here my buffer is a dynamic theme.
    Is there any possibility to create index for dynamic theme?
    Thanks and Regards
    Aravindan

    Hello
    We did something familiar in a sence.
    We used an analysis based sdo_NN.
    Also therefor the spatial index is required and used.
    We created a Materialized view containing the sdo_buffered result geometry, based on additional where clauses for the base table..
    We defined a spatial index on the materialized view result table, and an additional view containing the sdo_nn operator to this materialized view result table.
    So when we changed the requirements in which geometry had to be buffered in the first step, we refreshed to materialized view. This caused the de sdo_index being updated. this way the view with the operator was actualized.
    I hope this explained a little bit the way we did this, maybe this can help you out.

  • SQL Azure indexer support for Collection(Edm.String)

    Is there a plan to support "Collection(Edm.String)
    " with a SQL Azure indexer? Maybe via an XML type?
    Unless I'm misunderstanding the supported types
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/dn946880.aspx
    It sort of fizzles out after "time, timespan" but I'm assuming it's Not Supported's all the way down

    http://feedback.azure.com/forums/263029-azure-search/suggestions/7189214-sql-azure-indexer-support-for-collection-edm-strin
    Was going to start there but just wanted to vet that it indeed wasn't there.... I realize it's a bit awkward and anti - sql storing data like that in a column and will probably annoy DBAs.
     Currently the data we'd use this for would be Customer phone numbers, addresses, VIN for vehicles, and some account numbers... So nothing super fancy...   Straight delimiters might get funky with addresses but maybe a standard backspace escape
    sequence or letting user use ascii hexcode if the delimiter is in the text..
    For now we already have a comma separated SearchText field we've indexed for use with FTS and I just pointed an Edm.string at that column in our DB and it seems to pick up all the comma separated elements... But I'm guessing it's not as efficient as if it
    was stored in more specific collections.

  • Is there a solution for dynamic reports and using Denes' Export to Excel?

    Oracle 10.2.0.4.0
    Application Express 3.2.1.00.10
    Hello all!
    I am using Denes Kubicek's Export_Excel_Pkg in my application and I'm having trouble exporting reports based on report regions created using a PL/SQL function body returning SQL query. I realize this is not an Oracle supported package, but was hoping someone here could shed some light on it. When I open up the Excel file, I get an error such as: Report Values Error: ORA-06550: line 22, column 5: PL/SQL: ORA-00907: missing right parenthesis.
    I've searched the forum and already have done as others suggested by modifying the REPLACE on the v_sql variable in Export_Excel_Pkg.Get_Usable_SQL, but it did not work. My assumption is that there is an issue with the value being passed to the wwv_flow_utilities.get_binds function. I could not find documentation on this function, but I'm thinking that it cannot extract the bind variables within a PL/SQL block. The report only works when I have just use SQL with bind variables...doesn't work for PL/SQL. Nor does it work for dynamic SQL reports that use a "lexical" parameter (e.g. using WHERE &p_and_condition.) to build the WHERE clause.
    Has anyone come up with a work-around to this? I somehow need to be able to extract reports based on dynamic SQL (or PL/SQL) to Excel.
    Help is appreciated!
    This is my example of a report based on PL/SQL function:

  • Dynamic fetch for dynamic sql query

    Hi All,
    I want to dynamically create a query and fetch it into a dynamic cursor record...The structure of the record should be the same as that of the query...
    Can you suggest any method to do that.
    eg
    OPEN <dynamic cur> FOR <dynamic stmt>;
    LOOP
    FETCH <dynamic cur> INTO <dynamic rec>;
    END LOOP;
    CLOSE <dynamic cur>;
    How do I declare the dynamic rec here?I would not know the columns in the query beforehand either.

  • Sample routine for dynamic flatfile selection in infopackage?

    hello guys,
    I tried to find one sample routine for Dynamic Flatfile selection at Infopackage level in forums,internet...but couldnot find it....(something like....we give one flatfile everyday...process chain runs everday...and whenever Infopackage executes...it selects that days flatfile basing on date or something and loads the data)....
    can anyone give that sample routine ?
    Thanks,
    Rgards,
    S

    Hi,
    You can select the dynamic flat file using routine at info package.
    The routine here is to create dynamic file name, click the routine button beside the name of flat file.
    create name and write the related code.
    Eg: concatenate 'D:\BIFLATFILES\PRODUCTDATA_'   SY-DATUM  '.CSV'  INTO P_FILENAME.
    In this path you have to paste your file with name PRODUCTDATA_09.10.2009.CSV.
    So if it is daily load we need change the file name with that date.Infopackage automatically picks up this file and loads the data.
    Based on your requirement you need to change the code to select file with path.
    Thanks,
    Joseph

  • Reset config files for a package

    According to https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pa … save_Files I have this situation in my config files:
    original = X, current = Y, new = X
    Is there a way to set current config files of package to X and save Y as .pacsave OR install X as .pacnew and leave Y in place without removing package?
    Last edited by Evgeniuz (2012-03-12 22:00:00)

    I'm not positive I'm understanding you right, but if I am and you are talking about basically backing up a package's config file, it is pretty simple.  I believe the .pacnew and .pacsave refers to changes in the makeup of a package in general, not its config file.
    To change back to the original config and save the modified version you can just add .backup or anything onto the end of the file that you don't want to use right now .  Then, you just need to save the file that you want to use as the config file with wthe filename of the configuration file for that package (so the same but w/o the .backup).
    Sorry if I am misunderstanding you and you really did mean .pacnew or .pacsave and not config files.  Or if I am totally wrong but that is my understanding of config files and I know it has worked for me in multiple instances.

  • ABAP to set "Switched on/off BIA indexes for queries" flag?

    Does anyone know if the "Switch on/off BIA Indexes for Queries" can be set for a specific cube by a delivered ABAP?
    Here's my scenario. We go live with BIA next Monday 9/22. I've indexed our cubes in production BIA this past weekend and they're rolled up nightly. Until the go-live, I've manually set the "Switched Off for Queries" flag via RSDDBIAMON > BI Accelerator > Index Settings > Switch on/off BIA Indexes for Queries".
    However, one indexed cube is deleted fully every night by the flag in the full load infopackage. In testing, I saw that the BIA fact table index was fully deleted when the E and F tables of the cube were truncated, and then reindexed when the full package is loaded and rolled up. This is all ok.
    The issue is that after the delete, load and rollup, the "Switched Off for Queries" flag is not set. I have had to manually reset to off in the morning. This won't be an issue (hopefully) once we go live, but it does seem like a bug and I'll likely submit a customer message. I would think the delete, index and rollup process should not change the status of this flag.
    Does anyone know if that flag can be programatically set?
    Thanks for any advice,
    Doug

    Thanks, Vitaliy!
    I think you're exactly right. Its seems to be a bug in processing of just this specific type of index reprocessing, e.g. dropping and reindexing. The indexing process properly retains INA status on the other delta indexed cubes.
    I'm barely ABAP OO literate, but do understand enough to find, review and test the class and method code. Thanks for finding it!
    Also, I reviewed table RSDDTREXDIR and it is correct/current. It does spawn another question, though. The field ITYPE (Type of BIA Index) is consistently ICB exept for 2 cubes/indexes, which are typed as PA2 and PA9. When I check possible values on the domain, RSDDTREX_TAGGR_TYPE, it only lists ICB and ICF (Infocube - flat).
    Any idea what types PA2 and PA9 are, and why these 2 cubes would be different? From my perspective, they're basic infocubes, same as all the others.
    Thanks again,
    Doug

  • Azure CDN for Azure Website

    I have an Azure Website and I would like to serve some of it via an Azure CDN. Apparently, this used to be possible by using a /cdn folder in an Azure Hosted Service however, you cannot create these any more.
    If I try and create a Cloud Service (which replaced the Hosted Service), I just end up creating an Azure Web Site and you cannot connect a CDN to it.
    So, my question is: How can I connect an Azure CDN to an Azure website?

    Hi,
    CDN in general has not been changed. Some old tutorials such as
    http://blog.smarx.com/posts/using-the-windows-azure-cdn-for-your-web-application would still work. Please note it does not stand by website yet. It has to use web role. When you creating a cloud service, it works as a container. You can upload your
    web roles to it. Cloud service is not website. In addition, at the moment it is needed to use the old Silverlight to manage CDN. We're in the progress to enable CDN management in the new portal, as described in the old portal:
    Windows Azure CDN management experience will be available in the new Windows Azure Management Portal in the next couple months. Once this experience has been moved over, sometime this summer, the Silverlight Portal will be decommissioned. At that point,
    you will no longer be able to use this Portal to manage your CDN assets and will only be able to do so through the new Portal.

  • Azure Search for non-azure websites?

    I am looking into Azure Search as a possible replacement for a dedicated server running SearchBlox  and crawling several domains.
    This might be painfully obvious to others, but is Azure Search designed to index non-azure websites? I am unable to figure out how to setup an index for a domain. Does the service not actually 'crawl' in the sense that Google Search or Bing Search would?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    You can add documents to your search index by using REST API (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/dn798930.aspx). We are also working on automatically indexing SQL
    and DocumentDb data. Currently, Azure Search doesn't support crawling Web sites - Azure Search focus is on searching app-provided data; Bing and Google generally do a great job for web pages. However, feel free to add your vote for this feature on our UserVoice
    site:

  • Creating CTXSYS.CONTEXT type index for orddoc

    Hi,
    We tried to create a index for a orddoc datatype , the syntax used was as below
    CREATE INDEX CIX_DLX_ASSET1 ON DLX_ASSET(TEXT_ASSET.source.localdata) INDEXTYPE IS CTXSYS.CONTEXT;
    where DLX_ASSET is the table name and TEXT_ASSET is of the type Orddoc.
    When we tried to create the index we are getting the below error message
    ORA-29855: error occurred in the execution of ODCIINDEXCREATE routine
    ORA-20000: Oracle Text error:
    ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
    ORA-06512: at "CTXSYS.DRUE", line 157
    ORA-06512: at "CTXSYS.TEXTINDEXMETHODS", line 204
    But the index is being created but it is not proper and contain query doesnot work properly on it
    However we were able to create an index for TEXT_ASSET.comments as below
    CREATE INDEX CIX_TBL_ASSET1 ON TBL_ASSET(TEXT_ASSET.comments) INDEXTYPE IS CTXSYS.CONTEXT;
    The step we had followed are as below
    Granted required permission to the User owning the index.
    GRANT CTXAPP to User
    GRANT EXECUTE ON CTX_CLS TO User;
    GRANT EXECUTE ON CTX_DDL TO User;
    GRANT EXECUTE ON CTX_DOC TO User;
    GRANT EXECUTE ON CTX_OUTPUT TO User;
    GRANT EXECUTE ON CTX_QUERY TO User;
    GRANT EXECUTE ON CTX_REPORT TO User;
    GRANT EXECUTE ON CTX_THES TO User;
    All the package of the ctxsys is complied
    The ctxsrv has been stared as below
    ctxsrv -user ctxsys/ctxsys
    and is up and runing.

    Dear
    Here are the error explanations;
    ORA-06502:     PL/SQL: numeric or value error string
    Cause:     An arithmetic, numeric, string, conversion, or constraint error occurred. For example, this error occurs if an attempt is made to assign the value NULL to a variable declared NOT NULL, or if an attempt is made to assign an integer larger than 99 to a variable declared NUMBER(2).
    Action:     Change the data, how it is manipulated, or how it is declared so that values do not violate constraints.
    ORA-29855:
         error occurred in the execution of ODCIINDEXCREATE routine
    Cause:      Failed to successfully execute the ODCIIndexCreate routine.
    Action:      Check to see if the routine has been coded correctly.Ogan
