B75ma-e33 pci-e dont boot

hi wanted to know if someone has got it.
B75ma-e33
Pentium g645
1 slot ddr3 4gb 1333 kingstone
psu many for test
not boot with my xfx 4650 512mb 128bit card (model HD-465X-yaf2).
is the only card that does not boot and this works perfectly in all other motherboard msi 760GM p23 and p33 in the ASRock H61M-dgs.
I have updated the BIOS to version 7808v15 but still the same probe as other vga-4870-8500gt 9800gt and even a 6200LE and Works.
sorry my bad English, writing from Argentina, died latin forum

Have you made sure that the video cards power connector is properly hooked up to a dedicated +12V cable of your PSU?
Have you unplugged your PSU from A/C power and >>cleared CMOS<< each time after installing an add-on video card for testing? If not, please give that a try.
Anything connected to the board's HDMI port at the same time?  In case there is, please unplug it. Also, test with one memory module only.

My conclusion: something's wrong with the board and I am assuming it is related to the PCI-E.
Could be a number of different things in that area:
broken PCI-E port or a problem with the sub-circuitry
a short circuit inside the case somewhere which renders the PCI-E port unfunctional (test the board outside the case on a non-conducting surface)
PCI-E-Interface is part of the CPU, not part of the boards chipset:
--> perhaps the CPU is defective
--> pin contact problem between CPU and socket-pins (check the socket for bent or broken pins and also inspect the CPU's contact pads for areas of poor or no imprints from socket pins

  • Can B75MA-E33 run 1600 mhz ddr3?

    Hey guys,
I want to know if B75MA-E33 can run 1600 mhz ddr3 memory, because some people say they can and some say they can't

I have used this board quite a few times. Very nice for the money. It is designed to install non-k cpu's and ram matching the cpu specs. With this board, the typical set up is an office computer or the like so you would just enter bios hit f6 for optimized defaults then install your OS.

    Thanks Guys

I really hope you are not trying to use the ram altogether as that is asking for trouble. Use just one stick of ram and >>Clear CMOS<<.
If still no go: Did machine ever work or did you try setting up a machine with legacy parts? PSU details (specs)? Is the machine outside case or mounted in a case?

  • Windows 7 - Dont boot after install (Hyper-V)

    Hi,
Today I was install a VM with Windows 7 Ultimate. The setup ran very fine, I've allocated 200GB in virtual HD and set 2GB to RAM.
After the install completes, a black screen appear and Windows dont boot (or start)...
    Any tip?

Just ran into this same issue.
My problem got resolved after using the x64 version DVD of Win7 (just x64 instead of the DVD that had both x86 and x64 versions).
    What I did:
    My host is Windows 8.1
After installing Windows 7 x64 as VM on my 8.1 based laptop two days ago, I wanted to do the same on my desktop PC, but I had the same issue described here.
I used a DVD just with the x64 version for my laptop and a DVD with both x86 and x64 version for my desktop.
Tried repairing as advised by a post, but got the error: "This version of System Recovery Options is not compatible
with the version of Windows you are trying to repair. Try using a recovery disc that is compatible with this version of windows."
I exported and imported the VM from my laptop to my desktop to test it and it ran with no problems.
So I tried the DVD that had just the x64 version of Win7 and that installed without issues.
I'm curious if this happens only when a DVD with more than one Win7 versions is used.

  • MSI B75MA-E33 does see 2Gb of memory from 4Gb

My old m/b is dead (Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2). My 2 x mushkin Essentials 2Gb DDR3 1333MHz was working fine on that m/b. I decided to purchase replacement MSI B75MA-E33 + i3-3240. Specifications says that this memory is supported.
But BIOS see only 2Gb. I tried to switch memory sticks between ports with the same result. Any suggestions?

Socket looks OK. CPU was reseated. Still the same.

hello i have a powermac G5 it flashed lights tells me it has a Ram fault but some times it pwers on with no problems odd any one give me advice on this ? thanks

Hi, while it could be the RAM, it seems more likely a RAM slot solder problem related to temperature.
Does it do that when it's colder?
If you're sure the RAM is good, try the Hair Dryer trick...

  • Mac pro 2006 dont boot but fan's running like ****.

guys, my mac pro 2006 starts with the fan loud , seems running at total velocity. The video card  doesn't show nothing.  The usbs dont work.  when i extract the video card , the problem is the same.  I take the memory too, and the hd . The problem keeps going on.
The fan start's from zero to a million rpms.
The check leds on the motherboard are ok, no one of them are lighting.  If i take every part of the machine and i put  them outside,  the same thing happen.
    can you helpme?

Make sure your Ram is paired correctly when you install it --
And the long boot time is due to the previous reply. If you don't set a 'boot drive' the mac pro will look everywhere before selecting the OSX installation.
I've got the dual 300GB Velociprators in raid 0 with 80GB Intel ssd boot drive in my mac pro (same as yours). You can also boost your clock speed by a software trick .. I can get mine over 2.9 MHz before errors start popping up in console.
(problem is it screws up video playback and time)

EVRAMP wrote:Try to edit grub boot menu: instead of "/dev/disk/by-uuid/[many symbols which you didnt copied]" write your root partition path "/dev/sda2" (where sda2 points to your root partition).
You can edit your grub boot menu entry by presing "e".
didnt help, i tried that at first. now when i booted ubuntu from live cd to look whats inside arch linux partition, i went to /dev/ and ive seen only three files, no sda* or somethink, just three empty text files. i tried to look at this folder as a root, but still theres only three files. so maybe theres problem? man i will need to reinstall everythink again :(

first suspect is the BIOS on the board! for that CPU it needs at least Version B1 (11.1) for a Richland CPU to be supported...
if you do not know what BIOS version your board has tell us the Serial Number of the board so we can tell you if thats the issue or not? (that is on the UPC label on the box it came in or on a sticker on the rear of the motherboard!)
Hi thanks for replying, the s/n # is 601-7721-170b1403111085

  • H61M-E33/W8 won't boot

I just installed a brand new H61M-E33/W8 motherboard, Intel i3 processor, new 600W power supply, and 8 GB of memory.  Put everything together just fine and it booted to the system bios with no problems.  Shut down and installed my hard drive then re-booted.  Again, no problems and the it appeared to be booting just fine.  Then the system suddenly shut off and now will not boot at all.  When I hit the power button the fan turns for a few seconds and stops.  Any ideas?

First try a full cmos clear: >>Clear CMOS Guide<<
IF no help remove non essential hardware and try to boot with a single stick of ram. Test each stick and each DIMM like this.

    Any idea?
    Thanks you in advance!

It's bad news that you may have corrupted your BIOS, even though you used the boot CD update method.
Regardless, you can try all these steps first:
    Computer will not turn on
If nothing above works, see these intructions, and try to work your way through them for your make of BIOS. The BIOS.ROM file they mention, should be on your BIOS update CD.

    Good luck.

  • New B75MA-E33

I just installed the above motherboard with a new power supply and optical drive. I can access the bios. It will not boot from the existing Windows XP hard drive I am using. The Windows XP booted normally on another computer. I suspect there are settings that I have to adjust before the mother board will allow the XP drive to function normally. When I boot in safe(or normal) mode, I get the blue screen warning that Windows cannot boot normally due to hardware/driver changes. Any help would be appreciated!
    Mark

Get rid of the old XP and install it from scratch. Of course you will lose the current Windows. You can save data connecting the drive to another pc with working os and copying the files on another drive.

  • X58 Pro-E i7 system dont boot. Urgent

I build a system with MSI X58 Pro-E mobo, i7 930 cpu, 6 gigs of Patriot ram and nvidia quadro 5000 when i tried to boot all the lights and fans run for less than a second and only the mobo energy led and the mobo starting button stay on and nothing more happened. Please help.

Try with only one RAM stick in the black A0 DIMM slot. Clear CMOS (with power cord removed), reset settings (presuming it will post). Take a look at the bios chip on the board & post what it reads. It may be an issue with the bios version not fully supporting the i7 930.
