BB wont synch

Question

When I attemt to synchronize the Desktop Manager runs up to the point of Reading from Microsoft Calendar - it runs up to 156 of 240 items and then closes down and sends ameesage to microsoft.
Then it says it's disconnected when it's still connected. I have to delete DM and unplug the phone atleast twice before I can try again. 
I have uninstalled DM and re installed it - DM 4.2.2.14 [Apr 2007]
Any ideas would really be appreciated.

I am having this exact problem. The Blackberry support web site says the following (and it all makes sense but I'm a bit nervous to do so. Any suggestions?) ProblemA Calendar entry or Task is causing synchronization issues.
Resolution
This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
Workaround
To work around this issue, complete the following tasks:
Turn off wireless synchronization by completing the following steps:
On the BlackBerry smartphone, click Calendar or Tasks.
From the menu, click Options.
In the Wireless Synchronization field, click No.
From the menu, click Save.
Clear the database by completing the following steps:
Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer.
In BlackBerry Desktop Manager, click Backup and Restore.
Click Advanced.
From the Device Databases list, select Calendar or Tasks.
Click Clear.
Click OK.
Click Close.
Restore the database by completing one of the following tasks:
Perform a wired synchronization. See the applicable knowledge base article for more information.
For IBM® Lotus® Notes®, see KB03255.
For Microsoft® Outlook®, see KB04135.
For Novell® GroupWise®, see KB03255.
Perform a wireless synchronization by completing the following steps:
On the BlackBerry smartphone, click Calendar or Tasks.
From the menu, click Options.
In the Wireless Synchronization field, click Yes.
From the menu, click Save.
Additional InformationTo assist with technical support, complete the following steps:
Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer.
In BlackBerry Desktop Manager, click Backup and Restore.
Click Advanced.
From the Device Databases list, select Calendar or Tasks.
Click <<.
Click File.
Click Save As.
Type a name in the File name field.
Click Save.
Submit the file to BlackBerry Technical Support for assistance with this issue.
