BDC of qp01 transaction.

HELLO,
    I am writting BDC program for qp01 transaction, In which i have to upload master inspection charactoristics. o.k.
   When i run the bdc program cursor is not moving from line item 18 to 19 line number.
i have used scroll dowm arrow button , but still it is not working.
    Any solution for this please.

Error while running a BDC for the Transaction F-02

 I'm getting an error "Parking not possible during Batch Input" while running a BDC for the transaction F-02.

Hi,
When you are doing the recording in SHDB, and in the same screen where the TCODE to be recorded is given, there are options that you can choose called "Recording Parameters"...Select the checkbox which says "Not a Batch Input Session", this will set the sy-binpt variable to " "(in a recording by default it is "X")...and you will not get this error...
Also make sure while writing the BDC program to make use of the "bdc options" parameter which has this property to switch of sy-binpt...

Problem in creating a BDC program for transaction cj20n(project sytem)

Hi all,
I am trying to create project,WBS element ,network and activity using a BDC program,
I am able to create to a recording for the transaction cj20n using tcode shdb but when i run the recording it doesnt run properly i am not able to create any thing.
I get error saying that a particular field doesnt exist on the screen.
Is possible to create a BDC program for transaction CJ20N ?
Also is there any other alternative apart from using a BAPI or a function module.

Is BDC's CALL TRANSACTION 'VA01' is not equals to ONLINE(manual) creation?

Hi Experts,
Ours is IS-Oil.
If the user do not enters/inputs OIC_MOT (Mode Of Transport) at ITEM level on the External Details popup, SAP will get it from Customar Master-KNA1 and populates on it, because its a mandatory field (OIC_MOT), but, do not throws an Error message and interupts the sales order creation process.
We have a inbound IDOC posting function module for sales order (VA01), which posts the sales oreders by using BDC (CALL TRANSACTION 'VA01') in the system. In this function module, we are not populating the OIC_MOT field contained segment by hoping SAP will populate/default it while it hits CALL TRANSACTION 'VA01' of my BDC of my FM of IB IDOC. But, SAP is not defaulting/populating and throwing error message (saying 'OIC_MOT field is a mandatory input field' data is missing) and IDOC is failing, pls. let me know Wht its so? is the BDC's CALL TRANSACTION 'VA01' is not equals to ONLINE (manual ) creation of sales order?

Several transactions can ba a different behavior between online and bdc process, but if you simulate the trx by SM35 you should find out these gaps
I don't know OIL vertical, but the main transactions have a bapi can be used insted of BDC program (BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2, but perhaps there's a particular BAPI for OIL).

Upload longtext in QP01 transaction ?

Hi All,
I need to upload long text in qp01 transaction...can anyone tel me how to do it.....both the long text and other data has to be uploaded in a single program or ..... ? can you people tel the procedures involved ?

Bdc for 3 transactions

Hi gurus
I am writing a bdc for 3 transaction , it runs fines if i execute them seperately , can u let me know who do i merge 3 transactions in one BDC . transactions used are FBRA, F.80 and F-04 .
is their any specific way .... pls send the code if possible.....

do u want to run all 3 transaction at a time or run separtely..
If u want 3 at a time then
define 3 internal table and 3 BDC struture.
In FM BDC_INSERT use appropriate internal for correct transactio.
Like...
FM BDC_OPEN_GROUP..
Call Function 'BDC_INSERT'
Exporting
tcode = 'FRBA'
importing
table = itab1.
Call Function 'BDC_INSERT'
Exporting
tcode = 'F-04'
importing
table = itab2.
Call Function 'BDC_INSERT'
Exporting
tcode = 'F.80'
importing
table = itab3.
call FM "BDC_CLOSE_GROUP.

Problem in BDC for VA01 transaction TEXTS tab(Upgrading from 4.5b to ECC6)

Hi All,
I am working in upgrade project from 4.5b version to ECC6 version.
I am facing problem in TEXTS tab of VA01 transaction. In earlier version it is a table control containing of Language, Description & First line but, in ECC6 the screen is modified with texteditor, a list box for language key and a Text type at the left.
Now my problem is how to record this in BDC and how to read the text in the texteditor?

In this case i would suggest the use of BAPI if there's no compulsion to use BDC.

BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 Sales order: Create Sales Order

BAPI_SALESORDER_GETLIST Sales order: List of all Orders for Customer
BAPI_SALESORDER_GETSTATUS Sales Order: Display Status
BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE Sales Order: Simulate Sales Order
try using these for creation or change of orders instead of bdcs.

BDC Error in transaction code IHC1IP

HI Experts,
I have a requirment to Park/Post multiple Payment orders via transaction code IHC1IP .So proceeded with BDC but in the screen of IHC1IP there a long text called Payment Notes which i am unable capture by recording. Please suggest if anyone has faced the same problem. As per as my understanding because of container is used for payment notes .
So is it because of container its not captured by BDC or is there any problem. Please sugggest me the way to proceed further.

BDC recording in transaction BP

Hi,
I am creating a program which needs to update vendors using transaction BP. I am using BDC for this. However, I noticed that the screen of this transaction is dependent on the previous mode done (display or change). To give an example, in transaction BP, we need to click change/display. In the BDC, the ok_code for change/display is always passed. So, when vendor1 is processed with change, the next vendor will switch to display since the ok_code is called. Is there a way to be independent of the previous mode?

You shouldnt use BDC for this bu use BAPI - BAPI_BUPA_CENTRAL_CHANGE.
You can look into the Business object BUS1006 and get the list of BAPIs available for business partner. Most of the BAPI have name BAPIBUPA.

Error in bdc uploading for transaction F-02

Hi all,
Iam uploading transactional data for the transaction F-02 using BDC call transaction.
I have recorded all the screens of F-02 and internal table with fields also declared.
While running the program, it is showing the error saying -- " Input value is longer than screen field "
In debugging, Iam getting all the data from flat file into the internal table.
Iam unable to identify where it has gone wrong.
Can anybody look into it.

BDC with call transaction VD02 works fin in A mode but not in N mode

Hi All,
I have BDC program developed in 4.6c using call transaction VD02 works fine with mode A but not with mode N.
Now we upgraded to ECC 6.0.Do I need to change anything?

No, you don't have to change anything for ECC. BTW, I wonder why VD02 is not working in the background for you?
