BI Bean that displays the data in tabular layout (multi-row)
Hi,
I know there isn't a graphic type in BI Beans that can display data in multi-row tabular layout as one graphic object. Oracle Forms can actually display this layout but they want to display everything in one page without scrollbars (without the need to scroll for the other records that isn't displayed yet in the screen). Is this at all possible in Oracle Forms using BI Beans? Are there other possible approaches aside from BI Beans?

By given us a bit more information :)
• Is it a manual Tabular Form (using the ITEM API) or a wizard created one?
• Are the Insert/Update operations work correctly? If not, what is the type of your PK column(s)?
• If the problem is limited to the Delete operation, maybe the problem lies with the checkbox column. Are you sure that on page it is rendered as the f01 column?
• As triggers are involved, can you save the PK that the trigger sees? Is it the expected value?
• Are there any other processes that are fired before the DML process? If so, maybe the problem is with them. You can temporarily disable them and see if it change anything.

Yes, I agree. However, I believe that 4.1 made some serious advancement where Tabular Form is concerned. Having simplified Tabular Form related Validations and Process should make things easier, and as a result, prone to less errors. Still, the main problem is that the type of error you are talking about is usually the result of metadata problems and these are indeed very hard to track.

Strange scenario,Oracle can not display the data in mysql correctly
I use Heterogeneous Service+ODBC to achieve "oracle access mysql"(any other method?),and now i find Oracle can not display the data in mysql correctly:

Not displaying the data in the ALV Microsoft Excel (Ctrl+Shift+F7)..

I can able to display the data through the FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY in the out put screen.When I click on the Microsoft Excel (CtrlShiftF7) at the ALV toolbar to view the same data in excel sheet it does open the excel sheet WITHOUT ANY DATA. Please help me how to make the data visible in the excel sheet.

Check whether the tool bar export is disabled in the alv.
check in the alv->set_table_for_first_display FM the toolbar exclude export list.
If that is ok, then try download manually by providing abutton and clicking it. You can download data manually in this way.

Are you referring to the Date and Time some cameras put right on the image? If so there is nothing really good in iPhoto to do this. You could try the Retouch tool and see how that looks but I think you will need something more precise and powerful, like the clone tool in Aperture.
Also something like PhotoShop or GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program (free) should do what you want also.

I assume that your requiremen is related to smartform.the below is the solution i suggest.
As per my understanding of your requirement ,It's clear that as of now there is some description field which is also getting displayed along with other PO fields.
However you would like to display the description field in a new line since the length of this field is longer than other fields as a result the data is getting scattered .
Therefore one better option could be: since the whole data from PO would be in a loop you can display all other fields in one line type of the table as per the intial requirement and you display the description line alone in a new line type wth the desired length so that data would not be scattered and no data loss would happen.
I assume you are aware of creating of line types for table.

WRITE : structurename - fieldname.
eg : write : resbd-rsnum.
Before that you need to declare the structure name inside the report.

Padmanaban VThe chart analyzer is a third party tool that Crystal is licensed to use in the designer. That means in the Crystal Designer you have a lot of chart functionality, but at runtime the chart exists as part of the report object and the analyzer is not present. Therefore you have a few formatting options but not as many as in the designer.

Im using Java NetBeans IDE 4.1 to create an application. I have connected my apllication to MS Access database by ODBC and then retrieved the data of a field named "student-name" by using method b]ResultSet() , this retrieve all of the name student and store into a single variable, after that, i used Whike() loop and .next() method to read the data stored in the variable and then display all of the data. but i face some problem in displaying the data....
1) if i display the data using jLabel, then just the last record (eg,last name) will be displayed.
2) if i display the data using jTextArea and its method ( void append() ), then the record can't be displayed separately row by row.
Actually I would like to display the retrieved data in 2 way:
A) display every record in the variable separately row by row by using a single component. And then allow the user to select any certain record.
B) display all of the records in variable one by one from 1st record to last rocord by using jLabel. Once i click on a button, the 1st record will be showed on the jLabel, if i click again the button then the 2nd record will be showed.
can anyone help me???

Can Iphoto display the date and time of a pic on the pic?
I know I can get info and see a pics info, but can Iphoto display the date and time of a pic on the pic itself?
Use the Photos->Batch Change menu option to set the Title to Date and Time. That will give you what you want under each thumbnail.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier versions) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. There are versions that are compatible with iPhoto 5, 6, 7 and 8 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
NOTE: iPhoto 8's new option in the library rebuild pane, "Rebuild the iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup" may make this tip obsolete. We'll know when users have occasion to use it and see if that's the case. -

I want to display the order data in my application.
I have certain search criteria in my application like
ordernumber , date etc.
If I click the submit button without giving any criteria , all the data is getting displayed properly in the table.
But,If I want to display the data according to the order number, all the orders present are getting displayed , but actually it should display the order only for that particular order number.
The code is like : onActionSearch()

Can any one tell me how to display the orders depending upon the search criteria.

Design ur RFC in such a way that it should display the result according to your search criteria.
If you are making a search on "Order Number" pass some input(search criteria along with some parameter, if order number is not null then pass "X" as parameter) to RFC so that it will return the result accordingly. And same with date also.

Problem while displaying the data when double clicked on JTable element
Hi All,
i have one List box( JList ) and one table (JTable). Both JTable and JList are positioned on the same Frame. I am able to drag the elements from JList to JTable and also i have added the mouse click action on both List box and JTable.
if i double click on JList element, that will popup one dialog box.
if i double click on JTable cell element that was dragged from JList, that will popup same dialog box which was opened earlier for JList action.
But my problem here is:
Suppose if i drag the four elements one by one from JList to JTable and (after four elements dragged) double clicked the first element which was dragged first that displayed the popup dialog box structure correctly but the data displayed in that was not correct. It is showing the data of recent dragged element( i.e, fourth element).
But if i double click on JList element that is showing the correct data according to the double clicked element.
What might be the problem here, why it was not displaying the correct data when double clicked on JTable element.
Please help me here.

Object obj=table.getModel().getValueAt(row, col);Don't get the data through the model method, get the data through the table method:
Object obj = table.getValueAt(...)
This way it will work even if the table happens to be sorted.
Instead of creating a AssigningResourcesUI object, just disply the value retrieved from the model. That way you know whether the problem is with the mouse event code or your UI class. Like Walter suggested above I"m guess the problem is with your UI class.
