ORA-00600 ORA-03113 error ?
In EM a have this Alert:
~Errors in file d:\...\ora_111111.trc: ~ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [psi.c: psitrp3: leak], [], [], [], [], [], [], [] ~ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel~
What is the problem???Hi !
Try this man
ORA-600
ORA-600 errors are raised from the kernel code of the Oracle Database software when an
internal inconsistency is detected or an unexpected condition is met. This situation is not
necessarily a bug, it might be caused by problems with the operating system, lack of resources,
hardware failures, or other conditions.
With the ORA-600 error comes a list of arguments in square brackets. The first of these
arguments tells us from where in the code the error was caught and thus is the key information in
identifying the problem. This argument is either a number or a character string. The remaining
arguments are used to supply further information such as values of internal variables.
When an ORA-600 error is raised a trace file is generated in either USER_DUMP_DEST or
BACKGROUND_DUMP_DEST depending on whether the error was caught in a user or a
background process. The error is also written in the alert log with the name of the trace file. The
trace file contains vital information about what led to the error condition.
Hope this might help.
Thanks. -

Regards
TerryTerry,
Please refer to (Note: 153788.1 - Troubleshoot an ORA-600 or ORA-7445 Error Using the Error Lookup Tool). Enter the "ORA-7445 Failing Function" and "ORA-600 First Argument", select the database version and go through the documents.
By the way, any changes have been done recently? I would suggest you bounce the database first and see if you get the error in the log file or not.

Thanks,
Waheed. You can usually ignore followon ORA errors after an ORA-00600. You should look up the ORA-00600 code AND FIRST ARGUEMENT on metalink by going to the
ORA-600/ORA-7445 Troubleshooter
page (do a search for it).
In your case for kmgs_parameter_update_timeout_1 metalink reports:

Crash of Apache + ORA-00600 + ORA-01001
Hello,
On my production server, Windows Server 2003, I've installed WAMP 1.4.3 running Apache/1.3.33 and with version of PHP: 5.0.3. I'm using the extension php_oci8.dll. The database Oracle is Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.3.0 - 64bit
We are facing Apache crashes (several time a week), which do not seem to be linked to a specific action performed on the application.
When this happen, the following message appears in Oracle log:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments : [17281], [1001], [0x0B5242F40], [], [], [], [], []
ORA-01001: invalid cursor
In the log, there is as well the following line, which I don't know how to read:
program: Apache.exe
application name: Apache.exe, hash value=0
last wait for 'SQL*Net message from client' blocking sess=0x(nil) seq=52 wait_time=2653 seconds since wait started=0
We were asked to change the version of the client Oracle to 10.2.0.4 (it was a previous version) but that still doesn't correct the problem.
I'm wondering if the issue is on the Apache side or on Oracle?? It seems that the Apache is waiting to Oracle's response and as Oracle doesn't give the information it needs, that makes Apache crash.
Does anyone faced the same issue?
Thanks for any help.Using Oracle 10.2.0.4 is good. I'm not surprised it hasn't helped
because there are very few cases where the minor patch number has
impacted PHP OCI8.
I think the problem is the PHP version. All my warnings in various
posts/forums/articles about the instability of the default OCI8
extension with PHP 4 also apply to PHP 5.0 and PHP 5.1.1. The error
you mention wouldn't surprise me with any of those versions.
A refactored OCI8 extension to resolve various issues only first
appeared in PHP 5.1.2. Unfortunately on Windows it isn't so easy to
drop in the latest OCI8 extension code. I suggest upgrading to PHP
5.2.
If you want to continue using WAMP, the lastest WampServer on ships
PHP 5.3.0. This was the very first release of a major PHP version so
the changes and instability might be a factor for you. I'd look at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/wampserver/files/WAMP5/ and find one
that uses a PHP 5.2 release. Then I'd see if replacing the default
php_oci8.dll with php_oci8-1.4.1-5.2-vc6-x86.zip from
http://downloads.php.net/pierre/ works. (Or maybe use the -nts-
version of the file depending whether WAMP runs non-thread-safe).
You could do worse than replace WAMP with your own PHP installation
following
http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/php/htdocs/inst_php_apache_windows.html
or
http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/notes/technote_php_instant.html
or use Zend Server. -

The cube view throws these exceptions when I create a hierarchy that includes levels specified by columns with different datatypes. Two of them are numbers, one char. This is farely legal, isn't it? I have created another number column and mapped the char values to numbers. The cube view works now without any exceptions. Any suggestions? Thanx in advance.
Marek
using Oracle 9.0.2.5, the bi_checkconfig tool reports no errorsCube Viewer is part of the database so I would recommend posting your question on the OLAP section of the database forum.

Compiling error ORA-00600 with Forms 6 and Database 10g
Hi,
I am using "Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.1.0.4.0" and "Forms [32 Bit] Version 6.0.8.26.0 " with patch 17, when i compile a form that works with some tables in another database under dblink the error ORA-00600:internal error code, arguments:[16203],[],[],[],[],[],[],[] is displayed.
If i word with reports or sqlplus no error is displayed.
Before we installed 10g everything worked ok
What is wrong with forms or do i need to configure something else?
Regards

Is there a tool to troubleshoot ORA-00600 and ORA-07445 errors?
February 27th, 2006 By Fahd Mirza
ORA-00600 and ORA-07445 errors are the most esoteric errors in Oracle.
There is a tool called ORA-600/ORA-7445 Troubleshooter available at Metalink. It asks for the first argument of ORA-600 error with an optional database version number.
For example, to see the description of the error:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [723], [25908], [25908], [memory leak]
You enter 723 in the ORA-600 First Argument field. The first argument is a pointer to where in the code the error was caught and thus is the key information in identifying the problem.
You can also embed (copy/paste) the Call Stack Trace there, and, when you click on the Search Call Stack button an advanced MetaLink search is performed to find documents containing relevant sections from the call stack.
Call Stack extracts from the following files are supported:
* Generic foreground and background server trace files located in background_dump_dest and user_dump_dest
* OpenVMS NETV2 and BEQ log files located in ORA_ROOT:[NETWORK.LOG]
* WINDOWS CORE.LOG files
* GDB (debugger) backtrace call stacks (best endeavors)
Of course you will need a login to Oracle's Metalink site.
Hope that helps,

Ora-00600 problem with the kodpunp1 and kope2upic954 arguments
hi everybody,
i have a problem with ora-00600 error on a oracle 8.1.7.0.0 database on winxp.
i've read about many ora-00600 problems but only few were with kodpunp1 and kope2upic954 arguments.
In my trc files i found something like this:
*** SESSION ID:(29.2808) 2006-02-08 11:05:33.177
*** 2006-02-08 11:05:33.177
ksedmp: internal or fatal error
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kope2upic954], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
Current SQL statement for this session:
call p$insert_rules_details(:1 , :2 , :3, :4)
*** 2006-02-08 11:06:48.400
ksedmp: internal or fatal error
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kodpunp1], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kope2upic954], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
Current SQL statement for this session:
call p$insert_rules_details(:1 , :2 , :3, :4)
" so this is happenning when calling this procedure (p$insert_rules_details ...this is my procedure, not some procedure owned by sys).
if anyone can help me, pls reply. i've heard replies like: call oracle support, put a tar on metalink ..... i don't have metalink support so i appreciate real help ;)
what to do for avoiding/fixing this error?
txin addtion, this procedure p$insert_rules_details does some inserts into 3 tables from my schema. The problem might be from the usage of an num_array in this procedure declared as table of number. When number of elements from this num_array excels 4096, then the procedure generates errors.....i believe, not very sure about that. Can that be true?

Oracle error ORA-00600 when using Oracle 10g and Sun One Web Server 6.1
I have a java application that was running under Solaris 8 and Oracle 9i. I am trying to get it up and running on a new server that is configured with Solaris 9 and Oracle 10g. Whenever the application tries to connect to the database it receives the following error: ORA-00600 [ttcgcshnd-1][0]. My research indicates that this is an internal Oracle error that represents a low level unexpected condition. I have looked through my configuration for the Web Server and I have not been able to determine the cause of this problem. My DBA tells me that we have the latest patch installed for Oracle! Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
If the problem is also present in a SWING app, i.e. outside the web server, then it is porbably something external to the webserver.
I think you should ensure that the driver and database are compatible with each other. It is very likely that you need a new jdbc driver for the new database.
download from here http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/java/sqlj_jdbc/htdocs/jdbc101020.html
try the ojdbc14.jar
