[Bindable] causes compilation errors (definition not found) ?

I'm trying to build a simple actionscript project, where an
embedded gif is moving around the screen.
Without the [Bindable] tag it works fine, with [Bindable] it
throws:

I looked in the docs, there is no mx.binding package at all.
Is this a flex bug or what? Source is below.
package {
import flash.display.Sprite;
import flash.events.*;
import mx.core.BitmapAsset;
public class hello2 extends Sprite
[Embed(source="assets/back.gif")]
[Bindable]
private var bar:Class;
private var foo:BitmapAsset;
public function hello2()
foo = new bar();
foo.smoothing = true;
addChild(foo);
foo.y =100;
addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, this.onEnterFrame);
stage.frameRate = 50;
private function onEnterFrame(event:Event):void
foo.x++;

I think you need to bind the asset outside of your class
declaration like this:
package {
import flash.display.Sprite;
import flash.events.*;
import mx.core.BitmapAsset;
[Embed(source="assets/back.gif")]
[Bindable]
private var bar:Class;
private var foo:BitmapAsset;
public class hello2 extends Sprite
public function hello2()
foo = new bar();
foo.smoothing = true;
addChild(foo);
foo.y =100;
addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, this.onEnterFrame);
stage.frameRate = 50;
private function onEnterFrame(event:Event):void
foo.x++;
Let me know if that doesnt work, i have allot of questions
about packages myself and havent got much help on this forum yet.
Hopefully as more people get better at flex that will
change.

    I suspect the person behind the id probably isn'tvery
    intelligent however. After all I rant at peopleall
    the time, yet I don't bother using a seperate id.And this somehow makes you more intelligent than I?Of course. And provable.
    With my alias it is possible to see my contributions.
    Your posts are like graffiti. Graffiti is done by juveniles sneaking around at night spray painting their 'name' on public and private structures. Sometimes one can admire such graffiti because the artwork is beautiful and/or because the location is daring. However, most graffiti lacks both those qualities. Most artists are wannabes who have neither the courage nor the skill (and aren't willing to learn.) And they never will.
    You do have some skill in that your rants do seem to have a least some relevance. But they are never particularily witty nor clever nor amusing. So it seems safe to presume that the personality behind the alias is not a terribly bright individual. Which is not the same as a stupid individual. They could be stupid but it more likely that they are just average (after all a stupid person wouldn't use a different alias.)
    Now if you do indeed have another alias perhaps that alias demonstrates your intelligence. But this one does not.
    What other irrational conclusions have you come up
    with lately? It is perfectly rational.
    Oh, yeah, you can't tell because in
    your delusional world, they're perfectly normal
    conclusions.Of course one who is insane often feels that they are the only sane person in the world. There are medicines which help with the condition.

    Hi, while extending EO, we are getting error "oracle.jbo.NoDefException: JBO-25002: Definition oracle.apps.icx.por.schema.server.XXTBPoRequisitionLineEO of type Entity Definition not found". We have placed class and xml files in respective folder, imported customization and bounced the system but still error did not go. Kindly help to trace the issue.

    Can you elaborate how you deployed your custom code, were steps documented here followed ? Did you create a ADF library jar and copy it over to the application lib directory ? Please provide the exact steps done for deployment.

  • Oracle.apps.xdo.servlet.CreateException: Report definition not found

    We're running xml publisher under Oracle AS 10.1.3.4 on RHEL 5 against an Oracle 11.1.0.7 database. The problem we have is that scheduled reports fail intermittently with the following error "oracle.apps.xdo.servlet.CreateException: Report definition not found" even though the report does exist and there are no privilege issues. Oracle support suggested increasing the Java memory parameters in opmn.xml which we did and documnet # 333862.1 on MOS recommended increasing the Apache timeout. This also had no effect.
    Does anyone have any ideas what might cause this and how to fix it?

    Prior to this (when everything was working) I merely tried to re-label a tape. Why this has caused the problem I do not know but I can't seem to fix it.
    Does anybody know what has happened and what the fix is?
    On the HTTP administration page, when I try to configure the device I get the following error message:
    Error:      cannot read location object associated with device - UUID not found
    It looks as though the device definition has been corrupted some how.

    The fix has been found (from Oracle Support). The cause is not yet understood.
    I document it here for others who may run into the same problem.
    It seems that the device "went missing". The fix was to add it.

    Check out your data-sources.xml to make sure you didn't mistype it.

  • Error : file not found in SharePoint 2010

    I have a problem of error "file not found" in a site collection SharePoint 2010.
        I cannot access to home page, the page of list/library/permission,etc. All pages will appear an error "file not found"
        I can access to the page of "all content"
        I can access to the site setting page, but I cannot open the link on this page. For example, I select "quick launch" in "Look and feel" section, it will show an error "file not found".
        I think I must reset my master page, but I cannot use SharePoint Designer (forbidden in my application), I cannot open the link on site setting page, and I cannot open library page to check the master page
        I can access to mobile view, and all pages work well in mobile view, but I did not find site setting page
    How could I check the master page? Or this problem has other solution?
    Thank you in advance.

    You might have referred an image or style sheet or some file from an invalid path. Check the error in detail, where you might be able to know which file or file path is not correct. Then recorrect it in the master page and then refresh the site.
    UPDATE - Can you configure the web.config to display the detailed error? Make -
    <CustomErrors Mode="Off">, CallStack="true" and
    <compilation debug="true" />
    Do an IISReset and then refresh the site.

    Why doesn't it recognize 'round' as a valid function?
    XML Pub v5.6.3 lists "round" as one of xsl functions.
    Any idea or workaround?
    Thanks in advance.

    Any solution for the above problem?

  • Error:Can not found "javax/xml/soap"

    Hi:
    I'm fairly new to Java development and I'm trying to write a wrapper class that will access a webservice. The problem I'm running into is that I keep getting this error message when I try to compile my class:
    ./STest.java:1: error:Can not found "javax/xml/soap" [JLS 7.5.2, 7.6]
    I've installed the jwsdb-1_2 and I think mh env is set up correctly.
    The above error message is generated by:
    import javax.xml.soap.*;
    Please help!

    I've searched every jar file and it doesn't seem as though any of them have the soap stuff....
    This page, http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.0/api/overview-summary.html, seems to say that I need the Web Services Developer Pack, which is was the wsdp is....

  • XPathException: Extension function error: Method not found 'abs'

    Hello,
    I am using -XMLP 5.6.3 on EBS 11.5.10.2
    In XML Publisher Admin, View Template page, I click "Preview". I get a report, but all it contains is a long stack trace containing the following messages:
    java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
    Caused by: oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XPathException: Extension function error: Method not found 'abs'
    In my RTF, the offending code is
    <?when:xdoxslt:abs(ACCOUNTED_CR)>xdoxslt:abs(ACCOUNTED_DR)?>It works fine on my pc where I have BI Publisher Desktop 10.1.3.4

    Hi Vetsrini, Thank you for your response.
    1. I checked the values in the xml and found no nulls. I see all 0 or non-zero numbers.
    2. Following MetaLink Doc ID 362496.1, I find:
    - PDF Producer: PDF file properties shows PDF Producer "Oracle XML Publisher 5.6.3"
    - AD_BUGS SQL: The SQL results show that I have the 5.6.3 patch, but the SQL in the Doc only includes patch numbers up to 5.6.3. I'm not sure how I can find out the patch numbers of more recent patches, to see if i have those.
    - File version of the MetaInfo.class: $Header MetaInfo.java 115.28 2006/08/17 01:24:59 bgkim noship $
    What is the latest XDO patch? I can't find anything newer than what I have in MetaLink, but I probably am missing something...
