It's the Safari can't support to this website?? Why??
It's not that Safari can't support the site, it's that the site is not supporting Safari.
There's nothing you can do other than contacting the site and asking them to rework the site to support Safari.

PDF opens as a blank page in safari.  Can any one help?

    Hello S Butler,
    Welcome to Discussions!
See if any of this helps you below.
Also did you use the combo up-date for 10.4.5? Because this version
corrects things in Safari that the stand alone does not.
Did you repair premissions before and after the up-date?
Did you turn off your firewall?
Safari: PDFs now open directly in Safari instead of in Preview
When using the latest version of Safari with Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger," PDF links that you click will now open directly in the Safari window for your viewing convenience. Before Tiger, PDFs would open in Preview.
If you still prefer Preview, simply Control-click the PDF link (or right click on a two-button mouse) and choose Download Linked File from the shortcut menu. Once the file is on your desktop, double-click it to open in Preview.
    Notes:
In addition to Control-clicking the link and selecting Download Linked File as described above, you also have the choice of using Option-click on the link to shortcut the process even further.
If you do open a PDF in a Safari window, you can Control-click on the PDF itself and choose Open with Preview.
Due to certain server configurations, some PDFs will still download to your desktop instead of opening in a Safari window.
If you use a third-party PDF plug-in for Safari, it will block Safari's built-in PDF support.
Please let us know if anything works for you.

  • Pdfs open as blank pages in Safari, Preview, and Evernote

    Hi everybody!
I am experiencing problems with viewing pdfs in Safari and Preview, as well as third party apps such as Evernote. Some pdfs open fine and as always, others will just open as an assortment of blank pages.
Interestingly enough, I have had some of these pdf files before I migrated from a Snow Leopard MacBook to a Lion MacBook Pro.
    Anybody?
    I much appreciate your help.

    Linc,
yes, I was able to view the file just fine before the migration to Lion and the MacBook Pro. And I have not had problems with most of the pdfs I have downloaded / opened in Safari / Preview / Evernote.
However, I cannot view a single pdf from this site, for example: http://www.swp-berlin.org/en/start-en.html. Pick any of their pdfs. Or, randomly, the newest one: http://www.swp-berlin.org/fileadmin/contents/products/comments/2011C17_bsh_janet schek_srj_ks.pdf.
Do you also have problems viewing them? (Again, I never had issues viewing their pdfs so I am reluctant to just blame it on them.)
    I hope you can help.
    Thank you very much already!

  • Can't get email in Foxfire-blank page only-Safari works-help.

When I try to access my Hughes email account from Firefox, I get a blank page. I can get all the way to hughes webmail list, which Firefox shows as a blank page.
I can access the same email page just fine from Safari.

Since this is a forum for the MacBook Pro hardware, you should go to the Safari and Lion forums.  Do a search and/or ask a question.  Hope this helps.

  • Blank pages in Safari

    Hi,
I am a pretty experienced Apple user with a strange problem:
Added a new account (use-my wife) and in this account, google.dk or google.com shows with a blank page (just search field) in Safari. No search results or anything else is visible on the page. This happends on other sites too. Tried to remove the appropriate plist from Prefences>Library>user and to remove the entire Safari folder in Library folder. Nothing changes. Similar problem in some mails in Apple Mail. Tried to add an additional account: Same problem.
On my own account - same iMac, everything is working perfectly.
    Please help asap...
    Thanks,
    Nils Bugge - Denmark
Config: Imac 2.8Ghz Core 2 Duo, OSX 10.5.8, Safari 5.0.2 and AppleMail 3.6

Also, I tried to add an additional account and the same problems occour: Blank pages on certain sites (like Google) and certain e-mails.
Since any account you create has the same problem, boot from the install disc to rule out any errors on the startup disk.
Insert your install disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu and launch Disk Utility.
(In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first from the installer menu)
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel. It should say: Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
When you are finished with DU, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Manager.
Select your start up disk and click Restart
While you have the Disk Utility window open, look at the bottom of the window. Where you see Capacity and Available. *Make sure there is always 15% free space.*
I seems a bit troublesome to reinstall a new system
You don't need to. Archive and Install places a new system folder on the disk. It does not erase the disk.

  • Safari Printing: Prints blank pages from Safari

I can print from Word and other applications, but it just prints blank white pages from Safari- everything in Safari- not just e-mail.
    Already reset Safari
    Already downloaded Mac updates
    Help!

I found one possible work around. I too tried to print a multipage TV schedule from Safari. Printed first page and then multiple blank pages. Tried saving the schedule to PDF and Preview did the same thing. . .printed first page and then blank pages.
Finally opened the PDF file with Adobe Reader and it all printed out just fine. Hope this helps until Safari is fixed.
BTW I just upgraded to tiger and then 10.4.3. Before upgrading I deleted all the HP 6110 software and rebooted. Then I upgraded to Tiger and ran the Combo 10.4.3 updater. Then I configured my 6110 using the Tiger installed drivers and it printed fine. Then I downloaded and installed the current HP software and installed that. Everything works perfectly, scanning docs and pictures, coping and regular printing.

  • Printing blank pages from Safari

Trying to print a page from the web on Safari.  When print preview opens it shows a blank page.  I've tried to save as a PDF with the same results.  This is getting frustrating.  I shouldn't have to import things into preview or Adobe to print form the web.  Any suggestions?

    Back up all data.
Quit Safari. In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder... from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:
    /Library/Internet Plug-ins
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then launch Safari and test.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

  • Getting a blank page in Safari at https website

This is happening with new Macs. We can get to the website with Firefox. I and others can get to the website with Safari. When we go to the website, we get a white page with a small message stating Safari doesn’t recognize the certificate and it asks us if we want to continue. We continue and everything works fine.
Users with new Macs (out of the package) go to the same website and are presented with only a blank page, no message (we made sure). The website is secure (https). I'm not sure if that makes a difference, but I read other comments about problems with those sites. I assume the problem is with certificate validation since we get the message about the certificate. I'm guessing some factory setting needs to be changed in Safari. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Help here for adding certificates to a keychain.

  • Getting blank pages in Safari

Since yesterday I have not been able to access Facebook MW via Iphone Safari. I just get a blank page when it tries to load. Rebooted, cleared history, cache, etc. Not sure what else to try or if its a Facebook issue rather than Iphone.

Several resets, clear cache, cookies, history. I don't want to have to try restoring it to defaults unless its a last resort. Seeing as its happening to multiple people it obviously not just my phone. Tried turning off and on Java, etc. Itunes says I have the latest software and I have not added anything in the last week. What the heck happened???
I have the problem on 2G as well as two different WiFi networks. And running Safari at home works great so......... I'm saying its the phone.
For the record I have a 2G... is anyone having this issue with 3G or 3GS???

  • Blank Pages in Safari 3.2.1 (4525.27.1)

    Dear all,
I have been experiencing the same problem for ages, but this is the first time I am seriously trying to resolve it. When I enter to various web pages including www.me.com, the page appears all blank. This happens with Facebook, too. I really give the browser some time -maybe- to reload, but nothing happens. How could I resolve it? Any ideas?

    Hi,
Can you see if the same problem exists in another user account on your machine? If it does or doesn't it still helps us figure out what areas to check in more detail.
If you don't have another user account, use System Preferences > Account > \[+\] to create one temporarily.

  • Blank pages when trying to loin to Facebook on Safari

a really annoying app/ad (called A child is for Life, not just benefits) kept appearing on my Facebook page. I tried to block it via the Privacy Settings menu and eneded up on a page, and unfortunately I can't remember how I found it, that used a slider to block what I thought was the app/ad. I now find that I cannot login to Facebook, I just get a blank page, on Safari. I can however still login using Google Chrome and my iPad which suggests that my account isn't locked. Any suggestions what/where the 'slider' was in Settings and indeed how I can overcome the problem would be appreciated. I'm running Mac OS X 10.7.5.

Leliforever, cheek you list of installed add-ons, the Ask toolbar can be installed without the users knowledge.

  • When I open safari, I get a blank page and the beach ball.

When I open safari, I get a blank page and the beach ball. If I try to go to a website, it will load up to a certain point sometimes—the .com of www.facebook.com for instance—but other times, nothing at all.
I've fixed this once before by deleting some files in the library folder—extensions & preferences I believe—and choosing not to have plug-ins selected, then restarting the whole computer—rather than just safari. It will work fine for a day, or maybe 3 at the most, before I have to repeat the process all over again. I'm sure it's because I usually put plug-ins back on once I get it to work, because you can't really use the internet without using plug-ins. But I'm using Chrome right now, as I do when I'm too lazy or too in a rush to try the whole process of getting safari to work again, and I don't have a single issue with it.
My question is really, what plug-in could cause this to happen repeatedly? It's not like I'm going to websites that may have malware on them. I spend most of my day going to some of the most visited websites on the internet.
Is there a known bug out there, because Java has been overrunning concurrently with this happening. It's CPU % runs around 100. I quit the process, but it doesn't change anything. So, other than the fan turning on, I have not had any popup telling me that safari has crashed, that I'm not connected to the internet, or that something went horribly, horribly wrong. I'm pretty sure Safari things it's running fine, but it's not.
    Thanks in advance.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Third-party system modifications are a common cause of usability problems. By a “system modification,” I mean software that affects the operation of other software — potentially for the worse. The following procedure will help identify which such modifications you've installed. Don’t be alarmed by the complexity of these instructions — they’re easy to carry out and won’t change anything on your Mac.
These steps are to be taken while booted in “normal” mode, not in safe mode. If you’re now running in safe mode, reboot as usual before continuing.
Below are instructions to enter some UNIX shell commands. The commands are harmless, but they must be entered exactly as given in order to work. If you have doubts about the safety of the procedure suggested here, search this site for other discussions in which it’s been followed without any report of ill effects.
Some of the commands will line-wrap or scroll in your browser, but each one is really just a single line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, and you can then either copy or drag it. The headings “Step 1” and so on are not part of the commands.
Note: If you have more than one user account, Step 2 must be taken as an administrator. Ordinarily that would be the user created automatically when you booted the system for the first time. The other steps should be taken as the user who has the problem, if different. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this paragraph doesn’t apply.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the page that opens.
When you launch Terminal, a text window will open with a line already in it, ending either in a dollar sign (“$”) or a percent sign (“%”). If you get the percent sign, enter “sh” and press return. You should then get a new line ending in a dollar sign.
    Step 1
Copy or drag — do not type — the line below into the Terminal window, then press return:
    kextstat -kl | awk '!/com\.apple/{printf "%s %s\n", $6, $7}'
Post the lines of output (if any) that appear below what you just entered (the text, please, not a screenshot.) You can omit the final line ending in “$”.
    Step 2
    Repeat with this line:
    sudo launchctl list | sed 1d | awk '!/0x|com\.(apple|openssh|vix)|edu\.mit|org\.(amavis|apache|cups|isc|ntp|postfix|x)/{print $3}'
This time, you'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. You don't need to post the warning.
Note: If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before taking this step. If that’s not possible, skip to the next step.
    Step 3
    launchctl list | sed 1d | awk '!/0x|com\.apple|edu\.mit|org\.(x|openbsd)/{print $3}'
    Step 4
    ls -1A /e*/mach* {,/}L*/{Ad,Compon,Ex,Fram,In,Keyb,La,Mail/Bu,P*P,Priv,Qu,Scripti,Servi,Spo,Sta}* L*/Fonts 2> /dev/null
Important: If you formerly synchronized with a MobileMe account, your me.com email address may appear in the output of the above command. If so, anonymize it before posting.
    Step 5
osascript -e 'tell application "System Events" to get name of every login item' 2> /dev/null
Remember, steps 1-5 are all drag-and-drop or copy-and-paste, whichever you prefer — no typing, except your password. Also remember to post the output.
    You can then quit Terminal.
