Blue screen of death? I just updated my MacBook Air with the latest OX (25 Jun 11). When I restart - I get the Apple logo and then a blue screen and nothing else. Help!!!

Insert the install disk and press c on startup. Select your langauge then, if there's a menubar click utilities then click Disk Utility. If you didn't see the menubar continue with the installer until you see it.
Once in disk utitly select the drive and repair permissions.
After the repair is done, quit the utiltiy.
You can try to reboot and see if it works if you reboot, but if it doesn't repeat the same as before again.
Now you can continue with the installer and install the os.
Quit

Is the TV at minimum a 1080p with an HDMI port?
What is your Machine ID? DO NOT give us your serial number. We just need the x and y values of the Machine ID in your system profiler as given in this format:

I am having the same issue with Media Temple Email.
My problem in more detail is:
Adding my Media Temple Hosted domain email to a desktop service on my Macbook Air.
I have tried this on both Mac Mail and Thunderbird.
I add the account manually and have checked, double checked, triple checked the server addresss and also the user name and password and they are correct.
I have altered the ports from being default to custom and have tried both SSL and non SSL and still it is unable to connect to the SMTP server.
IMAP inbox is working as I recieve mails but can not send them.
I have chatted to Media Temple and they say it must be something to do with the hardware of the MacBook Air which to start with I disagreed with but I have since tried adding the email to my Mac Mini and it works fine.
I am assuming their is an issue in the MacBook Air with the SMTP ports and I would really appreciate some advice on how to fix this as I don't want to use Webmail for ever.

Just got new Macbook Air, with 10.8.4. - No Icloud

There is no Icloud that I can find anywhere (definitely not under system preferences where EVERY article insists it is). Is there a way to download it? I cannot turn on photo stream without it. I cannot find any article about downloading it, only activating it, which assumes it is already on my machine somewhere.

I don't think I will try to reinstall OSX just yet; and I don't think it is worth returning the machine.
As I mentioned, when our company receives the computer, it does a coreload to add corp licensed SW and do some setup work on them. They may have wiped out Icloud somehow.
I am in the middle of Ethiopia at the moment and don't want to risk any major surgery like reloading the system - that might screw up the corp settings and I wil be screwed in the middle of nowhere.
I am really surprised that it is not just an app that can be downloaded or a web interface. Because it was not built into windows machines, and I don't think it was built into the OS for the Ipad or Iphone.

Your Macbook AIr late 2013 uses PCIe SSD module, and it can be changed to 256SSD (see OWC website)
this module is diff. than the proprietary SSD used by the current Pro however.

You can force quit by holding the power button down for extended period.
During boot up hold down the Option key and choose your Macintosh HD OSX.
In >System Preferences> Startup Disk>choose your internal OSX System as Default.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
