BPC_ADMIN changes ENTITY infoobject but inactivates transformation

In PRD, I suddenly found that my process chain was failing because the transformation for my infoobject has been deactivated because BPC_ADMIN changed the infoobject. I don't want to transport the activation again from Dev since the infooject has changed in PRD directly. Is there a way to activate the transformation through a program?

How do you consult the management of changing entity?

Hi Experts,
I have a problem with BPC to satisify what the customer wants. It is how BPC handles entity changes including hieararchy and member. It also need to bring data behind of the entity code. So here is three types of entity change.
1. Merge Entities or Segments.
- Let say there are A and B entities or segments, they will be merged on the next period and the data behind of them should be distinguished and reported to user.
2. Change Entity or Segment.
- Let say there is AS1 segment, and the segment will be changed AP1 to represent their strategy change of product as of next fisical year. The customer wants to see AS1 if user refresh the structure of this year, and want to see AP1 if user refresh the structure of next year.
3. Divide Entity or Segment.
- Let say there is AB segment, the segment will be divided to two Segments which are AB1 and AB2 because there sales is too big and needs to manage by region. Therefore AB will be parent of AB1 and AB2. How we can treat all data of AB segment after segmenting segments.
These requirements is very common now a day and will be getting bigger and bigger. There are actaully some answers using DM and Multi-hiearachy, but actaully they cannot be a long term solution and needs many extra effort. What I really need to know is that how do you Experts consult the requirement with BPC?

1. Merge Entities or Segments.
- You can create another entities or segment, let's say AB and assign it as parent of A and B. With these you can get the merged values of the two at parent AB and still drill down to individual values of A and B.
2. Change Entity or Segment.
- If this is an Entity this would be easier since you can use the dynamic hierarchy to control this. Example, this year you can assign AS1 entity to its corresponding consolidation group and ownership data and then unassign it next year create the new Entity AP1 and assign it in the hierarchy. And using the new capability of BPC 7.5 NW you can report using dynamic hierarchy data so basically the hierarchy you define on the dynamic hierarchy on a particular period or time will be used in this new reporting option.
3. Divide Entity or Segment.
- Adding top members(PARENT or GROUPINGS) is not a problem but splitting members is not something that can be done automatically. For example, you have AB with value of 1000 and you need to split it as A=600 and B=400, then you need to re-enter or re-upload the values to A=600 and B=400. During design of the structure we strictly define what is the lowest level they want because as I said above its not as easy as adding a parent or grouping. Well you can use allocation functions in BPC to do this, it really depends on the requirements.

Object -> Transform -> Scale of 200% when applied to a text frame full of text works here: frame doubles in size, text doubles in font size. (CS5.5. and CS6 on Win7) It works on images, too.
In fact, I almost can't reproduce the behavior you report at all. The exception is this: If in CS5.5. I fill a frame with text, and then select the frame with the Direct Select tool (the white arrow) and use Object -> Transform -> Scale, then just the frame changes in size, and the text doesn't change. When you select the frame, which selection tool are you using?

Change entity in beforecommit

This is a simplification of my problem.
let's say you want to create a new department and five new employees in one transaction. On saving those 6 new entities you want to update a field in the department to contain the average salary in that department. You can't query the database in the validate method because the database does not know about the five new employees. I tried using the afterCommit() of the employee to change the department but that won't work because it gives an Internal error :Entity.afterCommit.status_modified. It won't work in the beforeCommit() of the employee either because it gives a similar error.
how can I solve this problem?

I cannot postchanges as some mandatory fields are filled in the validate (like date created).
Will the entity postChanges be called on transaction postChanges, so I can override the postchanges of the entity to contain all these kinds of validation? then use the validate to fill the salary field?
This way I could handle transactions to
1. postChanges, which fills mandatory fields
2. validate, which fills fields using database queries,
3. commit?
will my entities not become invalid this way?
according to jdev doc, Entity Objects will not be posted before all entity objects are validated and found valid (jdevdoc: About commit cycle processing)

What password are you talking about? What did you reset?
When updating to iOS 7 the process will ask you to set up a four digit passcode as a security feature. If you created a passcode there then that is what you are being asked when you first turn on your iPad or when you wake it from sleep after an Autolock. If you cannot remember or do not know your passcode take a look at this Apple support page:

All things you have to do is as follows:
1. Open regedit.exe
2. Naviagate to following key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Common\Internet]
3. Click Edit Menu -> New -> DWORD with name of "FSSHTTPOff"
(without quotes)
4. Click on "FSSHTTPOff" and enter value of 1
5.
Close any Office Applications and browser sessions
6. Try to reopen your document (no more read only or failure to upload)

You cannot use the Japanese iTunes Store unless are physically present there and have a Japanese payment method. This applies even for free apps; you cannot get them from the Japanese iTunes Store if you are in the US.
If you are in Japan, you can set up a new iTunes Store account just to get free apps. See:

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
If you have moved to Japan and wish to change the country of your account permanently, you can contact the iTunes Store and ask them to clear your remaining balance. You will need to be able to provide a Japanese payment method, though.

I can't connect to the itunes store and have some problems with other websites. Some websites load OK. I had the same problem on my iPad and changed the DNS, but don't want to do this on my iMac, anyway, surely I should have my router's DNS?

I can't connect to the iTunes store from my iMac and have problems loading a number of other websites, however some websites load perfectly well. I have had the iTunes store issue on my iPad and resolved it by changing the DNS but surely I should use the DNS for my router. I don't really want to change it for the iMac as I access secure sites with it to internet shop.
Any ideas, I was going to try loading Chrome but can't get it without going through the iTunes store. Anyway, that is treating the symprom not the cause.

In what way are you receiving this message? It is very common to get an email telling you that your ID has been disabled, and asking you to confirm all your details so the sender can steal your identity online.....

Are you seeing your music listed in the iPod screen, or in Win explorer as in your earlier post?
I can see all the songs in my Edrive>al's Ipod> Ipod Control> Music folder.
A corrupted iPod database, will report zero music used, and have your music size reported as others, so you wont see the music in the iPod screen. Sorry, I thought there was some hope for you with iPodAccess, in recovery of the corrupted iPod database with your ratings.
You can try to borrow and use the Mac Disk Utility ->First Aid ->Repair.
Of course, if your iPod Hardisk is in a bad state, from the Disk Diagnostic report, then all my suggestion are futile.

You will have to put your phone into recovery mode and restore the phone as new. Since you don't have a back up, you will lose all the data on your phone but you will be able to use it again.
