BPEL and handling of BIG files using 10.1.2

Scenario - using JDev 10.1.2 (Absolute) - what is the largest file size that can reliably be used with a BPEL process - need to get with a FTP adapter? Also is 10.1.2 BPEL certified for SQL Server.

Let's assume the ini file is a mapping type storage (key=value) so lets use Properties object. (works with java 1.4 & up)

I have two resource bundle with key, value and some comments. I need to write a java code to compare both of the values of the keys and if the values are different then i want to replace the second value with the first value.
Its a programe which will udpate the second file with the first file values.
I tried using Properties class but it didnt worked because when i am saving the file using store method it removes all the comments and the order of text also got disturbed.
How I need to do this any help appriciated.

Search and Replace text in file using PowerShell

I want to schedule a script in PowerShell to search a directory for an XML file for a particular text string and replace it with a different text string and then save the file with the same name, the name of the file
will change each time the script is run on a daily basis. There will only be one XML file in the location when the scheduled script is run.
I have never used PowerShell but am familiar with batch file commands, can anyone please help!!

Problem reopening and/or refreshing PDF files using Acrobat Reader V. 8.0

I upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Reader V. 8.0 and have encountered problems refreshing PDF files in the Safari 2.0.4 browser when I am logged into the secure area for Value Line Publishing. Some of the PDF Files in this area can be opened and/or refreshed multiple times. Other PDF files in this area allow me to open them once. I cannot reopen those previously viewed files (or refresh the screen) -- after refreshing, the window changes to a blank white screen, and the files do not reopen.
I am perplexed because I do not have difficulty refreshing the PDF files (within Safari) using the native PDF viewer, I did not have problems refreshing files using Acrobat Reader V. 7.0 and I do not appear to have problems refreshing PDF files using Acrobat Reader V. 8.0 when I am outside the secure area or on other web sites.
I have replaced the Acrobat Reader plug-in, manually removed all remnants of previous versions of Acrobat Reader and reinstalled V. 8.0. and I also upgraded from Mac OS 10.4.8 to 10.4 9, all to no avail.
I can clear the Safari cache files as a temporary solution, but I encounter the same difficulties with the “problematic” files once they have been opened again.
I can also download the PDF files to my hard drive and refresh them multiple times within Safari and also using Acrobat Reader V. 8.0
The software personnel at Value Line Publishing have investigated their system and have referred me back to Apple. Has anyone heard of similar problems associated with Adobe Acrobat Reader V. 8.0 used in conjunction with Safari 2.0.4?

This sounds like one of those "oddities", contributed to by a few sources.
I can clear the Safari cache files as a temporary solution, but I encounter the same difficulties with the “problematic” files once they have been opened again.
Wondering if you disabled the Safari Cache would the refresh function work correctly? As a test you can disable the Safari Cache by Emptying the Cache first via the Safari menu, then Quit Safari. Now go to the Finder>Your User Library>Caches>Safari. Single click on the Safari folder, then Apple Key + I to open Info panel. There, check the "locked" box. This prevents further additions to the cache. The downside, you lose your ability to upload images etc. within Safari (my cache is disabled, so I use Firefox for the uploads).
Then restart Safari. Try the PDF from within Safari.

You'd be better to read the data from one CSV, and create another CSV using that data, and the extra data you want, and then when finished, delete the original file and rename the new file to the old filename.
You should be able to do that using External Tables to read the source file (easier than using UTL_FILE) and UTL_FILE to write the new file.

Differenet BPEL instances write to same file using FileAdapter

I want to write a file through BPEL using FileAdapter, But i dont want that whenever a new instance of BPEL is generated the new file is created.
I want all instances to write to the same 1 single file. Is it possible?

Reading and Writing large Excel file using JExcel API

I am using JExcelAPI for reading and writing excel file. My problem is when I read file with 10000 records and 95 columns (file size about 14MB), I got out of memory error and application is crashed. Can anyone tell me is there any way that I can read large file using JExcelAPI throug streams or in any other way. Jakarta POI is also showing this behaviour.

Sorry when out of memory error is occurred no stack trace is printed as application is crashed. But I will quote some lines taken from JProfiler where this problem is occurred:

Is this a good way for loading and handling an xml file?

I'm new to xml files, but it seems to me that a good way to handle them may be this:
- create an xmltype table with a unique xmltype column
- load the xml file in the xmltype column of the table
- writing a procedure for scanning the whole column of the table by using the extractvalue built-in function for inserting the different nodes of the xml file (just loaded) in the final tables (to link correctly the father and son tags with foreign keys)
Does it seem to you a good way to load the nodes of a xml file in a relation database?

I'm using wordApp.Application.Selection.Range to insert text and tables sequentially(one after another) but selection still remains on the top of the document. My code is as below:

wordApp.Application.Selection.MoveDown(ref missing, ref cntfor, ref missing);
wordApp.Application.Selection.Range.Text = "\r\n" + str;
but above code insert text always at the top of the document.

The following symptoms occur when you try to create a hyperlink to another Microsoft Excel workbook in Microsoft Office Excel 2007 and in Microsoft Office Excel 2003:
•If you click Bookmark in the Insert Hyperlink dialog box when you create the hyperlink, the bookmark is not added, and you receive the following error message:
Microsoft Excel could not open this file or could not parse a file of this type.
The workaround is that typing the full path and the file name of the Excel workbook that contains the brace characters in the
Address text box of the Insert Hyperlink dialog box.
