BPEL AQ-Adapter convertToXml: skipping unsupported field -102

Hi,
while reading an AQ Adapter in BPEL we got always the following error :
<2007-05-16 15:08:03,625> <WARN> <default.collaxa.cube.activation> <AQ Adapter::
Inbound> OracleTypeConverter_convertToXml: skipping unsupported field -102
This field contains a timetamp field and the result for this field is empty in BPEL (XML).
Any idea to avoid this error??
Thanks

Schema2 : Has synonyms for above procedure and its input/output Table object type. We given execute grants to both procedure and its objects.
Now from BPEL I am connecting to Schema2 and I am getting following error. But if above procedure has noraml primitive types as input/output It works correctly !

Check to ensure that the struct definition in the XSD accurately describes the user defined type stored in the database. Contact oracle support if error is not fixable.

    Resolved.
We need to prefix the object type with schema1 in all XSDs.
    For example,
    <element name="P_SR_OBJ_O" type="db:XXCTS_SRM_SR_OBJ_TYPE" db:index="5" db:type="Struct" minOccurs="0" nillable="true"/>
    TO
    <element name="P_SR_OBJ_O" type="db:*schema1*.XXCTS_SRM_SR_OBJ_TYPE" db:index="5" db:type="Struct" minOccurs="0" nillable="true"/>
Make sure all occurrence are prefixed.
    Thanks

    ANSWER

No, FTP Adapter only supports passive mode. For that purpose there is an Enhancement Request
already, the Bug 6866124 - NEED SUPPORT FOR PASSIVE FTP ADAPTER AND CUSTOM FTP
    COMMANDS :
    1. The FTP Server needs to be active for the Adapter to work. So, both FTP Server and the FTP adapter must be active for it to work.
Also you only support PASSIVE mode in our FTP JCA adapter. ACTIVE mode is currently
considered bad practice and a security vulnerability.
But, we would require both ACTIVE and PASSIVE modes.
    2. Custom commands are not supported. But, we need the samples for custom FTP Commands and support for it.

  • Complex SQL Query in BPEL DB Adapter

    Hi,
Is it possbile to write a complex query in BPEL DB Adapter using "Custom SQL Query"?
I would like to write an IF ELSE condition in the DB Adapter similar what is given below..
    IF((SELECT COUNT(*) FROM F5898001 WHERE CT58SRCNME = 'CA_TEST' AND CTJOBNAME = '12345' AND CTEDBT = 'EDBT' AND CTEDSP = 'B') < 1)
    BEGIN
    insert into f5898001 (CTJOBNAME,CTEDSP,CTEDBT,CT58SRCNME) VALUES (#jobname, #edsp, #edbt, #srcnme)
    END.

    In a single pass no.
You could use a DB link to perform select and return result to BPEL process variable. Put a switch decision depending on result in variable that calls a DB Adapter to perform the insert.
Wouldn't be in a single transaction and not very elegant, but might be a way round.

  • Reading a multiple record types from a single File using BPEL file adapter

    Hi all.
We have a requirement where we want to read a CSV file using the BPEl adapter.
Following is the sample of csv file
    HDR,1,2,3
    ---- First transaction starts----
    TH,1,2,3
    RSD,1,1
    RSD,1,1
    TD,1
    -------Second transaction starts---
    TH,1,2,3
    RSD,1,1
    RSD,1,1
    RSD,1,1
    RSD,1,2
    TD,1
    TD,1
    -------------Third Transaction starts---
    TH,1,2,3
    RSD,1,1
    TD,1
    TD,1
    TD,1
    TD,1
    -------------Fourth Transaction starts---
    TH,1,2,3
    LN,1,1,1,1,2
    -----End of File---
    TAIL
I have modified the file with some comments to have some clear understanding.
Basically our file is a transactions file from legacy system & contains mutliple transactions
First line will be a Header record starting "HDR" & contains all summary details about the file.
After it is details of all transactions thorughout the day, each transaction begins with record starting "TH".As shown in all transactions above.EAch transaction can have other multiple records like the RSD & TD shown above.
Our need is to read each transaction from the file & create an instance. How can we configure BPEL to grab the data starting with TH till it encounter's another TH.
    Please advise
    Krunal

You can't use the wizard to create a schema if a file as complex as this. the good news is that you can create one yourself. What you need to do is create standard xsd that will handle your file, then what you do is add the terminators that determine when a field stops.
Here is an example, hopefully this provides you enough infor for you to make your own.

  • BPEL File Adapter Logical Path Issue

I am trying to write the BPEL Error Messages using a file adapter. But I could not parameterize the logical directory. I need a solution of changing it in the BPEL console after deploying it
I am Invoking a FileAdapter Web service using logical direcotry, in the FileService partnerlink I set the file_loc property with type"LogicalDirectory" and set the value to " D:/BPEL_Errors" etc. This is working fine but except in the BPEL Console I could not edit it, All the Partner Link properties seems to be read only and not editable. I tried creating a user property for the BPEL process which can be editable but How do I refer this user property in partner link since I cannot use XPATH expression there?.
I guess this should be a very generic problem all I am looking for is parameterizing the File Location. Any Ideas?
    Thanks,
    Chitra

Thanks James. It would be really nice if the first option works, do you have any idea why its not editable. I am having the following in bpel.xml
    <partnerLinkBinding name="FileService">
    <property name="wsdlLocation">FileService.wsdl</property>
    <property name="BPEL_LOG">D:\JDeveloper\jdev\mywork\BPEL_LOG</property>
When I deploy the above, In the console I see BPEL_LOG as non editable field. Is am doing anything wrong?.
Regarding the second option , I guess you are talking about modifying the Outbound message header by adding a new property called directory, as mentioned in the following link.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28994/adptr_file.htm#CACFFAHI
Since there are many bpel processes which use the fileservice, I need to edit the fileAdapterOutboundHeader.wsdl in multiple places. Please let me know whether I can make the first option to work

  • File Adapter: trailing space in field using XSD:Decimal in a CSV file

    Hi Folks,
I have a problem which i am unable to understand fully.
We have a SAP to file via XI scenario where a mail adapter is used. We are producing a CSV file as an mail attachment.
The issue is all the decimal fields have an extra space before the next delimiter i.e. comma.
The data type used in mapping is XSD:Decimal with 'fraction' set as 2.
I have checked the source XML and there is no trailing spaces there. Initially i thought this might be due to doing the conversion using transformation beans in mail adapter, to rule this out i checked other files produced using FILE adapter they also appear to have same issue.
I can't get my head around it, could not find any parameter i need to pass in content conversion either in MAIL adapter or FILE adapter to supress trailing space before the delimiter.
I suppose this must have occured with others as well.
Any directions would be greatly appreciated.
Btw, we are on PI 7.0 and ECC 6

    Hi Mouchel,
I personally didnot encounter this kind of issue with the file adapter at any point of time. I would suggest you to check the message mapping before and after payload in sxmb_moni. If you see in mapping you may not find out, so view the source in notepad and then see.

  • Sender File Adapter - FCC - No incoming field separator - How to do FCC?

    Hi,
I have a sender File adapter and I need to do the File Content Conversion but there apparently no incoming field separator and the file ocntains just running text - no data records but just information.
For example the incoming file is something like:
The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited                      27JAN2009       PAGE 1
Incorporated in Hong Kong with limited liability

    Payment Date           27JAN2009
    First Party Narrative  .                             66666666
    Second Party Narrative .
The Message type that I am mapping to contains:
    MT_XXXX
         WA
              Item
              Item2
              Item3
This is so that the information can be mapped to different field areas and send across to the Receiver Mail Adapter. In the mail i receive, i get the running text. I tried giving the field separator as '0x09' but it is not working.
I have also tried WA..fieldContentFormatting to nothing but again no luck.
I have tried with Recordset Sequence with Ascending and variable and have also tried Recordsets per Message with * and blank - but it did not help.
    Please advice.
    Regards,
    Archana

    Hi,
I assumed that it was tab but when I made the change in FCC, it did not work.
I would still like to have a output where it looks like below if more than 2 types of information in 1 line as below:
ABC IAL LIMITED                     ABU DHABI, UAE
ABC MIDDLE EAST                  Account No. 001-9999999999999
    and not something like:
ABC IAL LIMITED ABU DHABI, UAE
ABC MIDDLE EAST Account No. 001-999999999999
I am not sure what to do here.
    Help please.

  • How to find EOF in BPEL File adapter

    Hi All,
I am using file adapter in BPEL(SOA 11G) to read a csv file. The CSV file is very large so we have are processing the files in batched of 20000 records.I am inserting the records form CSV file to a staging table and after that I am invoking a concurrent Program for further processing. This is working fine and BPEL is initiating no of instances based on the file size.
The issue here is, I want to submit the concurrent program only once when all the records are stored in staging table, I mean to say the BPEL Process should process the file in batches and then insert them in to the staging table. Once all the records from the file are stored in the table, then only the Concurrent Program should get submitted.
I am using DB Adapter for invoking a PL/SQL API and from there we are submitting concurrent Program.
Please help me on this to solve this.
    Thanks!

It is possible to register a Java Listener class, which can/will be invoked, when a last batch in the file, is read. Code for invoking the concurrent Program can be written in side this class.
Refer to following document on how to register the Java Listener class
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/integration.1111/e10231/adptr_file.htm#CACJBIGD
Moreover, as an alternate to the above approach, chunk read interaction specs can be implemented along with the Sync File Read for your scenario( However,This will be a whole re-write, considering your current approach. Good News is, there is full-fledged example readily available for this in oracle docs).
Here is the link if you would like to implement the Chunk Read.
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/integration.1111/e10231/adptr_file.htm#BABJFCBH

  • JDBC Sender/Receiver Adapter Configuration with key fields in SAP XI

    Hi All,
    Good evening.
Please let me know, what are the settings required for key fields when configuring both sender and receiver Adapter?
In My IDOC-XI-File Scenario, when i am sending an IDOC from R/3, I got Mapping Runtime exception error? So, How to send the same IDOC after correcting the error?
    Thanks to all in advance.
    Regards,
    Nagarjuna.

    HI Nagarjuna,
If my understanding is correct, When you trigger the Idoc from R/3 it thrown the error in XI.
If  you want to send the same Idoc then go to WE19 in R/3 system enter the same Idoc number and execute the scenaio. It send the Idoc to XI system, but the message number will change.

  • BPEL & Resource adapter deployment in 10.1.2

    Hi,
I have deployed a JCA resource adapter in a 10.1.2 server and it seems that it doesn't get deployed right or, at least, when I test it with a BPEL process, doesn’t work.
I have tested the adapter and the BPEL process in 10.1.3 and works fine, but it doesn't work in 10.1.2. I need to work in 10.1.2 because I'm using the B2B integration suite and this is only available in 10.1.2.
This is what I have done to deploy the adapter:
    i. I created the file oc4j-ra.xml in C:\OraHome_1OAS\j2ee\OC4J_BPEL\application-deployments\default\EbMS Adapter
ii. I copied the adapter rar file in C:\OraHome_1OAS\j2ee\OC4J_BPEL\connectors\EbMS Adapter
    iii. I update C:\OraHome_1OAS\j2ee\OC4J_BPEL\config\oc4j-connectors.xml
Then, when I try to deploy a BPEL process to test the adapter, I get this error in the log (C:\OraHome_1OAS\integration\orabpel\domains\default\logs\domain.log):

java.lang.Exception: Problem 1: [EBMSOutgoing.wsdl]: Unable to locate the JCA Resource Adapter via WSDL port element jca:address.
The Adapter Framework is unable to startup the Resource Adapter specified in the WSDL jca:address element: {http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/wsdl/jca/}address: location='eis/ebmsra'
The reason for this is most likely that either
    1) the Resource Adapters RAR file has not been deployed successfully to the OC4J Application server or
    2) the 'location' attribute in $J2EE_HOME/application-deployments/default/deployed-adapter-name/oc4j-ra.xml has not been set to eis/ebmsra. In the last case you might have to add a new 'connector-factory' entry (connection) to oc4j-ra.xml.
Please correct this and then restart the BPEL/OC4J Application Server

As I see that I have deployed the connector in C:\OraHome_1OAS\j2ee\OC4J_BPEL, but the BPEL process is been deployed in C:\OraHome_1OAS\integration\orabpel, I try to deploy the connector in C:\OraHome_1OAS\integration\orabpel\system\appserver\oc4j\j2ee\home. I copied the "connectors" and "application-deployments" directories into C:\OraHome_1OAS\integration\orabpel\system\appserver\oc4j\j2ee\home (because didn't exist) and updated the C:\OraHome_1OAS\integration\orabpel\system\appserver\oc4j\j2ee\home\config\oc4j-connectors.xml, but I still get the same error.
    Anybody can help me?
    Thanks,
    Miguel

    Hi miquel,

  • Need to Skip the fields duaring the data upload by SQL*Loader.

    Hi all,
I am not able to get how to skip some fileds in the file while uploading it thru SQL*Loader. Let us have a look the below scenario.
The table has 4 columns. but in the input file came up with 6 fields. Let us assume the four fields came as first in the order. Then, we can populate the data into the 4 columns of the table. At the same time we want to skip the remaining fields. Even those fields/columns are no longer available in the database table.
    For example:
    create table data_temp(sno number,name varchar2(10 char),sex char(1),loc varchar2(20 char));
    Data file
    sno,name,sex,loc,organization,contact
    1,ram,M,India,HP,998976789
    2,Shesha,M,India,IBM,7890808098
    Control_file
    OPTIONS(SKIP=1)
    LOAD DATA
    INFILE *
    APPEND INTO TABLE data_temp
FIELDS TERMINATED BY ',' optionally enclosed by '"'
    TRAILING NULLCOLS
    sno "trim(:sno)",
    name "SUBSTR(trim(:name),1,20)" ,
    sex "SUBSTR(trim(:sex),1,1)",
    loc "SUBSTR(trim(:loc),1,20)" ,
Please suggest me how to implement the above scenario in the control file.
    Thanks in Advance!!
    Regards,
    Vissu.....

    Use FILLER. Control file:
    OPTIONS(SKIP=1)
    LOAD DATA
    INFILE *
    APPEND INTO TABLE data_temp
FIELDS TERMINATED BY ',' optionally enclosed by '"'
    TRAILING NULLCOLS
    sno "trim(:sno)",
    name "SUBSTR(trim(:name),1,20)" ,
    sex "SUBSTR(trim(:sex),1,1)",
    loc "SUBSTR(trim(:loc),1,20)" ,
    organization filler,
    contact filler
    begindata
    sno,name,***,loc,organization,contact
    1,ram,M,India,HP,998976789
    2,Shesha,M,India,IBM,7890808098
    {code}
    Now:
    {code}
    SQL> create table data_temp(sno number,name varchar2(10 char),sex char(1),loc varchar2(20 char));
    Table created.
    SQL> host sqlldr scott/tiger control=c:\temp\vissu.ctl log=c:\temp\vissu.log
    SQL> select * from data_temp
