Calendar Control Date Input Field

Hi All,
1) Is there any (easy) way to place a calendar control next to a date input field for date entry help (just like in JS)?
2) If yes, how could we make the calendar help popup language-dependent ?

From the help menu in your Developer studio choose:

UI elements guide.
Alternatively, on the left hand side you can search for any Web Dynpro class (e.g. IWDContextNode) and acces the Web Dynpro API.

In your view in your init() method add the following code:
wdContext.currentContextElement().setOrderDate(new Date(System.currentTimeMillis()));
this is if your Date-attribute is in the root of the context.
else you have to set the date in the node where the date-attribute is present with:
IYOURNODEElement node = wdContext.createYOURNODEElement();
node.setOrderDate(new Date(System.currentTimeMillis()));

I want restrict Calendar Control date.
For Example: I have 2 Calendar control parameter(Startdate,Enddate). If i select Startdate(2014-04-24)Parameter, Todate Parameter user will not select less than Startdate value (Past date are Hide/Invisible/Not selectable) and Limit the
date. How to restrict Enddate parametre value in SSRS 2008 R2.

Hi,
Currently, this cannot be achieved in Reporting Services. If I specific dates in the available values, the calendar control will change to a drop-down box control. You can only specify the default value for this parameter.
Here is my workaround for this:
1. Add a text box and type “The start day cannot be greater than the end day!” in the value.
2. On the Visibility page, choose the option of Show or hide based on an expression. Click expression button and type:
=IIF(Parameters!EndDate.Value<Parameters!StartDate.Value,FALSE,TRUE)
3. And define the visibility of your report as well, using the following expression:
=IIF(Parameters!StartDate.Value>Parameters!EndDate.Value,TRUE,FALSE)

To add a method on select of a date from a date input field

Hi,
I have a input field which is binded to context element, type date. Hence the output screen has a date popup, from which user can select any dates.
Is it any way i can have a action executed on select of a date value?
I mean when the user selects a date from the date field an wction should be called.
As I have chosen it to be input field so at present I have only the option of OnEnter, which is not fulfilling the requirement.

Hi Pranay,
Use the Date Navigator instead. It has got the same functionality as Date Picker (this is what you are using) & moreover, you can achieve what you desired. It has got the functions like onDaySelect, onWeekSelect & onMonthSelect & onSelect.
That will trigger the action what you want.

Prompt Calendar Control - Date Format

Hi,
I have a Calendar Control in my Prompt, that I initialize to a default value as:
SELECT MIN("- Dim_Date".DATE_VALUE) FROM PRS
When a user first goes to the dashboard page, the default value is in the format '2000-01-01'
However, when the user selects a different date, it goes to the format '01/01/2000'
How can I make the format consistent?

Resolved by changing Default value SQL to:
SELECT EVALUATE('REPLACE(TRIM(leading 0 from TO_CHAR(%1,%2)),%3,%4) ' as varchar(20),MIN("- Dim_Date".DATE_VALUE),'MM/DD/YYYY','/0','/') FROM PRS
This displays the default date in format 1/1/2009, the same format shown when choosing a different date from the calendar control.

Calendar Control Date Format intermittently Changing

I've noticed that every once in a while the Calendar Date format temporarily changes from DD/MM/YYYY to MM/DD/YYYY
This is very problematic for me. Is there a place i can specify this so that it never changes?

How to create a form or data input field

I would like to create a form of one cell (A1) and so create several tables with just one cell (just copy the tables). The value in that cell will change every day via a manual input. I then want to have one sort of aggregation table which will aggregate all (daily) values into one sheet, and show me all the daily values in several columns (each column has its own table)
Would be great if you can help me

Input field in a table view control

Hi,
    I have a table view control, with input field in one of the columns.
    That is meant for entering some values.
    My problem is when i am entering a 3 input field with value and then by   using     mouse control i enter say 20th input field with value. After that when i use the directional keys to enter the 21st field, the cursor is not in 21st field, it is somewhere else.
How to correct this problem.

You know that you can control Photoshop input fields http://screencast.com/t/ApVseKYRxz with the mouse scroll wheel. Pretty handy indeed. You just have to click on the field and spin the wheel and values changing.
The problem:
My mouse wheel cannot control the input fields in this way. I select the field, spin the wheel and nothing happen. When I spin it faster a couple of times, than the values get changing - pretty strange ha? Scrolling normally - do not change, scrolling fast change. But to scroll fast is not an option because I cannot change the values slightly with small increments... There is a bug really...
What I tried and didn't work:
1. Restarted Photoshop
2. Plug/Unplug and change different USB slots for both receivers.
3. Reintalling latest SetPoint Drivers (after uninstall I run ccleaner)
4. Put all SetPoint settings to defaults (because I programmed some mouse keys to Photoshop specifically).
5. Install earlier versions of SetPoint drivers.
6. Set my UEFI BIOS to defaults.
7. Restarted the BIOS to load all the drivers again, but still no luck
(the last think I didn't do is to reinstall Photoshop)
What I have investigated so far:
1. When I restart the computer and run Photoshop it works perfect HA! , but after a seconds it do not words again ...
2. When I stop SetPoint software, when I shut down it, it words perfect.
3. When I unplug keyboard receiver it words perfect, but I do not have keyboard:)
4. Everything works perfect in Illustrator and After effects.
5. Also I noticed that when I scroll images in CameraRaw - http://screencast.com/t/xKnn6cY9 the I have to scroll harder and spin the wheel harder to scroll - the same problem.
6. Also in photoshop and bridge scrolling here - is pretty smooth and works perfect - http://screencast.com/t/75IXMG6Zria
Maybe the most important part - When I start experiencing the problem:
I had same configuration , same everything and everything worked fine.
I installed SSD disk, reinstalled Windows (same like before), updated my BIOS to UEFI. Installed Photoshop and SetPoint and problem started.

I found a solution.
1. Uninstall your current Setpoint Driver.
2. Run CCleaner - http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
3. Download an older version of SetPoint - http://www.oldapps.com/setpoint.php
(I used SetPoint 6.15 (x64), I tried 6.20, 6.32, 6.50 , but no luck)
4. Now everything is all right!

Get wrong IDoc control data

Hi, experts, I create a extension base on baisc type SISDEL01 for delivery. And I have add the control data in WE82. But now i found when i get idoc control data, the field of extension has no value. Could somebody give me some advices? Thanks.

Bringing two input fields under one long input field

I have a input field (which is for description 40 chars long).
in my next row.. i have data and time.. i want this data and time input fields to be exactly under the description input field.
I am using Matrix layout... can u tell me how to acheive this. pls..
right now.. i see there is a gap between the data lable and data input field... so its not coming under the input field of description.

make changes in properties as matrix header data.( it come as new line)
matrix data it will come as flow layout, one after one.

where is the calendar date(input Controls)' format setting??
i dont want to show the time stamp in calendar date(input Controls) as my users dislike to see that timestamp .
