Can I play Call of Duty Ghosts on my iMac (21,5" late 2013) with Windows 7 and Parallels

Hey there,
I Have an iMac 21,5" 8GB RAM 1024MB 2,9Ghz. I buyed it in Feburary. I want to play Call of Duty Ghosts on my iMac i use Win7 with Parallels. I don't know if it works? I already have Skyrim and Fifa 14 and they work very well. So I want to ask you if i could play CoD Ghosts without any problems.
p.s. I dont really want to use Bootcamp only when ther is no other option.

The simple answer is yes. As long as the computer meets the minimum system requirements.
The long answer is....maybe.
Parallels is a Virtual Machine for Windows, meaning that it runs on the Mac OS X Software. Bootcamp repartitions your HD and utilizes just the Mac's Hardware to run Windows using its own OS system files.
If you have 2 games already that run in Parallels right now with no issues, then I don't see why this new game would not work. However if it does not, you may want to consider a Bootcamp parition in order to keep your Windows and Mac OS X partitions separate in the event of any OS problems.

Call of Duty Ghosts/ battlefield 4 Freeze; NVIDIA 331.65 driver: this driver could not find compatible graphics hardware

I'm using imac 27 inch mid 2011
I've bought Call of duty Ghosts.. it require 6 GB ram, so i upgraded mine from 4 GB to 8 GB. Now i can run the game, after 2 sec, it freezes. So i tried to download NVIDIA 331.65 which says to be the solution. And then it says"this driver could not find compatible graphics hardware". So i couldnt download NVIDIA 331.65 ....
Any idea?

There's an important distinction you need to make on NVIDIA's web site to get the "right" driver.
NVIDIA's driver finder has separate categories for the desktop and mobile variants.
You don't specify the computer model in question, so I'm going to throw in a guess that you have a notebook. If this is so, or you have one of the iMacs or Mac minis with the 9400 MCP, then it's really a 9400M (the M standing for mobile), in which case you need the GeForce 9M drivers.
If installing these yields the same error, then the drivers can be modified so that they will install properly. Google "nvidia mobile driver modder" if you wish to try. I cannot, however, guarantee the results of such hacks even as I know they exist.

PS4 Call of Duty Ghosts Lag Compensation Issues

I recently got the verizon fios internet 50 mbps/ 25 mbps, tv, and phone package with an actiontec router. Since I got this, I have been having issues with playing online multiplayer on call of duty ghosts for ps4. The issue is lag compensation where someone sees me in the game first before I see them. Maybe because my connection is too fast? I don't know. I used to never have this issue until I got fios. I think it's because I end up being the host and my connection is way too fast for the other players. I changed from wireless to direct connection to the actiontec router, but it made no difference regarding lag compensation. I've tried port forwarding and DMZ, but it didn't have any effect. I was wondering if I could replace the actiontec router with another modem or router. I feel like the actiontec router is the issue, but I could be wrong. Can someone help me out, please?

Call of Duty Ghosts Deal of the Day 7/17/2014

Is it really true/possible that the video game deal of the day offering Call of Duty Ghosts for PS4 and XBox One really sold out in about an hour this morning or will there be more available?
I get the idea that "you snooze you lose" but I work for a living and being up between 1-2 AM my time is impossible. It would be really nice if Best Buy would offer a rain check on this one. I really wanted to get this game and that was a great price point!
Anything that can be done about this one? I was up at 5 AM and it was already gone. The only reason I know it was gone quickly is because of posts on another board.

As an avid gamer, I’m constantly checking Best Buy’s Deal of the Day as there are often some amazing deals. The Call of Duty: Ghosts Deal of the Day promotion you’re referring to was a perfect example of the types of sales I’m keeping an eye out for. Sadly, like you, I also missed this sale due to the demand. I’m very sorry for any frustration this has caused as that’s far from our intent with these promotions.
Per the Deal of the Day FAQ, these deals are generally up for 24 hours, or until they sell out. Once gone, Best Buy does not offer any price-matching or rain check opportunities as the Deal of the Day products are all limited in quantity. Again, I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Moderate NAT while playing Call of Duty Ghosts on ...

As the problem says, I have my NAT stuck on moderate whenever I play Ghosts. I have run through the checks on CG/GG-NAT and used PortForward.com and I still my NAT remains on moderate. The kicker is that it *was* Open - I'd checked advice online and people suggested putting it in a DMZ - thankfully that's easy with the Home Hub 4, so I dutifully did that and lo & behold it was showing as Open and my connection was running fantastically. But then, last week, I powered it on and the game claims I'm on moderate and my connection nearly makes playing online pointless - which, as I went with BT due to the quality of connection I could get is frustrating. But anyway, all through this my NAT is permanently showing as Type 2 when I check on the PS4, which appears to indicate that I am connecting via a router (which I am).
Now, I do run an Xbox 360 but it's not powered on when I play the PS4, besides which the PS4 is in a DMZ so nothing the 360 does should cause a problem, unless it's down to UPnP switching port traffic to the 360 (though I have run with ports forwarded to the PS4 AND it in a DMZ to check). The 360 is also permanently on Open NAT when I play Call of Duty.
This all leaves me tearing my hair out (if I'd never ever managed to open the NAT I'd probably be less frustrated). If anyone has any other suggestions on how to solve it I'd be extremely greatful, as (for the moment) it's turned my PS4 into a very nice looking desk ornament.

Add the port '3074'
i had same issue with ghosts on my ps4 used the suggested ports supplied by portforward.com no change still moderate but after reading through many various ideas and trying different versions i ended up just adding port 3074 to what portforward.com had already given and it worked.

Call of duty ghost

I can get online but when I try and get into a game says no games found when at the time there are 50000+ people playing can take up to half an hour to get into the game and a card update will not install didn't have any problems with the ps3 !!!!

1) I went over to the gaming kiosk to trade in my games. The employee told me I have to do this at the customer service desk. I've never had to do this at any Best Buy. I always trade in games at the kiosk since USUALLY I'll get someone knowledgable with video games and the current promotions.
2) I go to the customer service desk and told the girl I want to trade in CoD: Ghosts and Black Ops II. I also want to use the $10 coupon promotion and apply it to a CoD: AW preorder.
3) The girl tells me that I have to do this online. The coupon fine print obviously states it is in-store only. I try explaining this is an in-store promotion.
4) She told me I must be talking about the $10 rewards certificate for preordering. NO. Look in the ad, they are two different promotions.
5) Then, she told me that I cannot preorder this game in-store. "We must have run out of copies." I've never heard of a standard edition Call of Duty game run out of preorders before. Especially on a new system (PS4) where they need their userbase to be huge.
6) At this point I was fed up. I asked if there was someone in the video gaming department that had more experience with the promotions and trading in games. The girl told me that they do not have any video game specialists at the store.
I seriously cannot believe a Best Buy store can be this clueless. How can someone run a business like this? Sadly this is not the first time I've ran into problems with Best Buy.
Has anyone had any luck using this promotion? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???

It shouldn't be so difficult to pre-order an upcoming game, so I can imagine why you'd be frustrated! It sounds like the rep you spoke with might not have been familiar with either the game trade-in or pre-order process, although walk-through guides and training documents should have been readily available at the time of your visit.
To take advantage of our current Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare trade-in promotion, customers simply need to trade in a copy of either Call of Duty: Ghosts or Call of Duty: Black Ops II and reserve a copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare at their local store. Both the trade-in gift card and coupon can then be applied at the time of pickup, with the $10 pre-order bonus certificate being awarded 15-20 days after pickup. Since the Atlas and Atlas Pro edition are online-only items, they are not eligible for this offer.

Call of Duty Trade in?

I preordered Call of duty Advanced Warfare a few weeks ago online.
Today, I traded in my copy of Call of Duty Ghost for a $20 gift card but just found out that Best Buy will give a $10 extra if trading in during the time of purchasing the new Call of Duty.
Did I miss out on that extra $10 or can I bring in my receipt for the trade-in I just did and still get $10 coupon when I pick up my Call of Duty Advanced Warfare?

Like Batman1982 suggested, the best advice we'd be able to give would be to speak with a manager on duty at your local store. Just keep in mind that we cannot make any guarantees -- all trade-in transactions are final and these coupons can typically only be issued as part of a trade-in transaction.

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Preorder problem.

I preordered my copy of Call of duty Advanced Warfare PS4 on Oct 26th at the Bestbuy store. I put $5 down on preorder and my purchase history showing order {Removed per forum guidelines.}. I just went to midnight launch and I was going to use $10 call of duty ghost trade in promotion coupon and coupon wouldn't work when they scanned it. They void the transaction and restart the transaction. I"m afraid that they cancelled my preorder because on my new receipt it's showing order {Removed per forum guidelines.} and they cancelled previous transaction to restart new transaction. Can you guys find out if I"m still eligible to receive my $10 reward certificate for preordering call of duty or can you give me $10 certificate on my bestbuy rewardzone account?

As long as both your initial pre-order deposit and My Best Buy membership information are reflected on your final sales receipt, then there's no need to worry! Remember that both base points and any applicable pre-order bonus certificates can take 15-20 days to post, so you won't necessarily see record of them right away. Pre-order bonus certificates also don't always appear as pending, and instead are simply available for use at the end of that timeframe.
If you still haven't seen record of your purchase at the end of that 15-20 day window, let us know and we'd be glad to look into the situation on your behalf at that time.
