Calling Serail/Lot block of Transactions form using zoom functionality

Hello Everyone,
I would like to call Serial/Lot Control block of Material Transactions form in Accounts Payables using zoom fucntionality. However the find screen of material transactions is displayed and not the serial/LOT block. Can any one help me in resolving the issue so that when zoom is clicked, it directly navigates to Serial/LOT block.
Thank You,

  • How do you call a single block in a form from a different form ?

    Hello All,
I'm trying to call a particular block in a form. The actual call is done via fnd_function.execute. This brings up 2 blocks:
    1) a find/search block
    2) the block I want with the correct information based on the parameters I have passed in.
Everything so far is OK with the exception of not wanting the 'find' block to appear. I've tried to hide the associated window by using the hide_window function but this doesn't work. Anyone got any new ideas I can try ?
    Thanks in advance
    Sandy

If you have both blocks on the same canvas they will both appear if you navigate to a field in either block.
So, put each block on its own canvas. When you navigate to a field in one block only that block will appear.
As far as navigating to a block from another form there is not built-in function to do that. You can only call and entire form from another form. You could however pass a parameter from the calling form to the called form. On the when-new-form-instance of the called form check for the parameter value and go_item('myblock.myitem') which will display the block you want.

  • Issues with iOS 7 - not responding when using ZOOM function

iOS 7 is very unstable for ipad 2. Everytime I use zoom function, it is not responding and I have to restart it.
Is it possible for me to change the operating system back to iOS 6 now?
Or is it possible for apple teams to consider this issue and fix it during next upgrading?
By the way, iPhone 4 totally cannot run iOS 7. It is very laggy.
Can anyone answer my question? Thank you!

Zoom work OK for me on iOS 7.
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iDevice?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
Downgrading to iOS 7 is not possible.

  • To format an Excel worksheet invoked by oracle form using DDE functions

I'm exporting data from oracle form6 into excel sheet using DDE functions.
Is there any DDE functions to format the excel sheet.

Maybe you can use format commands through DDE (if the DDE server suports them) but I personally don't know.
My approach is to record an excel macro which formats your sheet and then invoke the macro through DDE. You can fill cells with control numbers (like number of rows, number of cells) so you can make your macro even smarter by reading these numbers.

  • Calling report with parameter screen from form using frmrwinteg

    Hi,
I am calling a report with a parameter screen from a form and am using the frmrwinteg bean. This works fine on our test application server but, when moved onto our production application server, the database logon screen is presented after pressing the submit button on the parameter screen. The cause of the problem seems to be the html generated to simulate the parameter screen. The html on the test application server contains a BASE tag in the HEAD section with an href starting "http:/servername.companyname.com". However, the same tag in the html generated on the production application server is missing the ".companyname.com", causing the cookie produced by the frmrwinteg bean to not be found. Does anyone know how the BASE href tag is generated and what I need to change to get the correct BASE href value? I am using Forms/Reports 10g R2 and Application Server 10.1.2.
    Cheers.....

Appendix "A" of this document describes how cookie_domain works:

  • Automatically populating the form using a function

I'd like to create a form for clubs to register their members. In this form I want it to include the payment they will owe to Provincial, National and International levels. Is there a way to create the form so that the person filling it out can select which Province they belong to which will then automatically populate the areas with numbers (cost) pertaining to their province?
    Thanks,
    Rebecca

I am sorry but Formscentral doesn't support any conditional or contextual filling.

  • Very Urgent : Reordering of fields in Transaction Form

    Hi All,
I am trying to reorder fields on the transaction form using form personalization.
I would want to interchange the positions of Batch Source Name field and Transaction Number field.
Although I am able to interchange the fields. The Prompt of Transaction Number doesnt move with the field and hence i see an overlap of prompts of these two fields. Can you please tell me how to resolve this.
    Thanks,
    John.

Which version of Apps are you running ? 11.5.9 or 11.5.10 ?

  • Using the function WRITE_FORM in a SAPScript window

    hi everyone.
I need to print the texts of the SO10 transaction, in a SAPSCRIPT page, but i've not able to do so.
i have a SapScript with 2 pages: FIRST and SECOND,  in the window "POINT2" of the page "FIRST",  I put a  "NEW-PAGE" , between an if condition,  for to call the next page "SECOND".
i'm using WRITE_FORM function, in the control program, to send texts from the SO10 to the window "POINT2-1"  in page "SECONDt".
now, if  I make debbug to sapscript, i can see when: NEW-PAGE it's called and when the ITAB gets all the text, but in the end it doesn't print the text in the sapscript.
and if I search in the SP02 transaction, for the spool number, it only appears 1 page.
not 2  like it supose to be.

Change the command line /: to some paragraph format PH or line feed /.
    /E       ELEMENT
    PH       &IT_TEXTO-TDLINE&
            OR
    /         &IT_TEXTO-TDLINE&
Also why are you passing the text elemnt to internal table first using READ_TEXT. It can be directly done with INCLUDE Command.

  • Why most of SAP Standard transactions are written in function pools

    Hi Forum Experts,
Why most of SAP Standard transactions are written in function pools instead of a normal module pool program? ( In the case of Standard tcode function pools, it is a collection of a large number of funciton modules, includes for forms used by function modules, and screens. Why is it so? ).
    Quick response will be appriciated.

  • Calling Smart Form using Driver Program

Hi, I'm a new ABAP developer. I've recently been studied about Smart Forms and I didn't understand what are the benefits to call a smart form using driver program.
    Could anyone help me, please?

    Bruno, it works like this.
Lets says you attach a Z output to a sales order which sends the details of the SO to the customer in a PDF format. For this purpose you have developer the o/p using smartforms or scripts. Now there are few configs that you will perform in order to send the PDF to the customer AUTOMATICALLY once the SO is saved. This is done thru the transaction NACE where you will attach the smartform, the o/p, partner function and driver program.
This driver program will get kicked in when the order is saved and will perform the logic and then call the smartform.
Hope this give a little bit better picture.
