Calling the procedure from URL is not working

Hi Experts,
We are in the process of 11i to R12 upgrade of oracle EBS system.
In 11i they have done some personalization in the form which will trigger a URL and a notfication will open in the browser.
11i url
HTTPS://abc.xyz.t.COM:8070/PLS/abc/XXM_PO_NOTIFICATION_PREVIEW.SHOW?P_PO_HEADER_ID=1711&p_type=PO
r12 url
HTTPS://abcr12.xyz.t.COM:8070/PLS/abcr12/XXM_PO_NOTIFICATION_PREVIEW.SHOW?P_PO_HEADER_ID=1711&p_type=PO
The URL is calling the function XXM_PO_NOTIFICATION_PREVIEW.SHOW by passing the parameters and it is working fine in 11i.
In r12 it is constructing the correct URL but when the page opens it is saying page not found.
My question is when we pass call the package in browser URL..does it executes?
We have put some debug message in the package but it is not getting pritntig.

Page not found (404) is a generic error from the web server. It simply says something went wrong when it serviced that URL from the browser - not what exactly went wrong.
You need to look in the error log of the Apache server for the details.
Assuming a standard OHS (Oracle HTTP Server) install. The URL contains a DAD (Database Access Descriptor) - in your case it is abcr12. This DAD will be defined in the Apache config file called dads.conf in the mod_plsql directory.
Part of the DAD definition will be an Oracle username, password, and Oracle connection string (typically TNSFormat).
The error you see on the browser side is often due to this DAD connection and authentication details failing. E.g. Oracle schema is locked. Oracle password is wrong. TNS connection string requests a non-existing service from the Oracle Listener. Etc.
But it would make sense to first confirm that this is indeed a connectivity error, via the Apache error log.

I have implemented this in one of my apps in the following way:
- Created a database procedure (called download_file that accepts a parameter). This procedure opens a document stored in the database.
- In a report region, in the Column Link attributes, I set the Link Text to "Download", set Target to "URL" and set URL to "#OWNER#.download_file?p_file=#MYFIELD#"

Calling Sub-Templates from a Template not working

I have a Template that I want to call a multiple Sub-Templates, and the Sub-Templates actually define an entire report. After I load the Data and try to preview I get the following error:
Caused by: oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XSLException: <Line 39, Column 62>: XML-22049: (Error) Template 'MWAC_JOB_RTG' invoked but not defined.
Can someone tell me what this means? Is what I'm trying to do even possible?

Is the sub template accessible by the main template? Have you included the import statement in your main template?

Error when calling a procedure from my apex application

Hello.
I want to create a small APEX application that can configure asynchronous change data capture (distributed hotlog) on certain tables.
Basically, what the application should do is to simply create change tables. Everything else is set up as prerequisite.
My problem is that when I run the following script from schema apex_cdd (using sqldeveloper) , it works; but if I run it from my apex application by calling it when pressing a button as a pl/sql process, it doen't work.

Other remarks:
- My procedure calls: sys.DBMS_CDC_PUBLISH.CREATE_CHANGE_TABLE.
- I gave the same rights that I gave for apex_cdc schema to flows_030200 and APEX_PUBLIC_USER schemas (just to see if it works), but it doens't.
Is APEX calling the procedure from another schema ?
Does anyone has an idea why this procedure crashes if called from APEX application, but works ok if called from the same schema APEX application runs on, but using SQLDeveloper ?
Any thoughts are appreciated.

The procedure apex_cdc.enable_table_capture i created myself with no authid mentioned explicitly, so it uses definer rights, by default.
BUt this procedure is simply a wrapper for sys.dbms_cdc_publish.create_change_table.
When I look on the security model for this sys.dbms_cdc_publish, i see it runs under invoker rights. (http://www.psoug.org/reference/dbms_cdc_publish.html).

Urgent! Call stored procedure from jdbc vs. call from sqlplus?

Hello I met a strange problem when using JDBC (to Oracle). I have a stored procedure mypack.myproc, which updates a table (only one row and one column in the table). I found that when I called the procedure directly from sql*plus, like:

the value is 2, which is correct.
However, if I call the procedure from with in java via jdbc, the value become 591 (which is ridiculous), the jdbc call looks like:

Hey buddy, it's you again. Just let you know that you are right. The problem is caused by mis-match between jdbc date and oracle date (that procedure is used to do some date calculation). My co-worker suggested me to add this statement in the procedure, and it did solved problem:

You need to install Office on the computer from the installer DVD or disc image you purchased.

No one here can help you. If your phone is no longer under warranty, a third-party repair shop will most likely be your best bet. You can't mail the phone to Apple, in the US, as Apple does not accept international shipments. You could mail it to a friend/relative, in the US, & they could take it to an Apple store for you. Some Apple stores repair iPhones. Otherwise, you're looking at an out of warranty replacement.
