Hi experts ,
here i hve a small problem .
i hve two BAPIs , both having olly one import parameter and hving messages as the export parameters .
so how i hve to call them , give the correct method .

Yes. We can change the background of an input field. The way you do this is by editing the theme that webdynpro application uses. To edit the theme, you will need to install NWDS PLUS the theme edit plugin (Available for download from SAP).
Once you have edited the theme, you will need to upload your theme back to application server. You can use the program : BSP_UPDATE_MIMEREPOS to do this.
Bydefault, the theme used by webdynpro applications is :
/SAP/PUBLIC/BC/UR/nw5/themes/sap_tradeshow
You can apply another theme by calling the webdynpro application with a theme parameter. For example, if my webdynpro application name is "zgopaltest", then
<i><b>http://<server>:port/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zgopaltest?SAP-EP-THEMEROOT=/SAP/PUBLIC/BC/UR/nw5/themes/sap_tradeshow</b></i>
will apply the sap_tradeshow theme.
Likewise, you can apply diffrent theme. There is another theme that SAP provides. Its called : sap_hcb. Hence, you can apply the theme to the above application by:

By reading the context attribute which bound to inputfield, you can get the value.
Say you have a node called 'MAIN_NODE' and has the attribute 'INPUT_VALUE', which is bound to the Inputfield.
DATA LO_ND_MAIN_NODE TYPE REF TO IF_WD_CONTEXT_NODE.
DATA LO_EL_MAIN_NODE TYPE REF TO IF_WD_CONTEXT_ELEMENT.
DATA LS_MAIN_NODE TYPE WD_THIS->ELEMENT_MAIN_NODE.
DATA LV_INP_VALUE LIKE LS_MAIN_NODE-INP_VALUE.
* navigate from <CONTEXT> to <MAIN_NODE> via lead selection
LO_ND_MAIN_NODE = WD_CONTEXT->GET_CHILD_NODE( NAME = 'MAIN_NODE' ).
* get element via lead selection
LO_EL_MAIN_NODE = LO_ND_MAIN_NODE->GET_ELEMENT( ).
* get single attribute
LO_EL_MAIN_NODE->GET_ATTRIBUTE(
    EXPORTING

How to keep the input field from PDF Form to RTF

I'm looking to keep the input fields from my pdf form document to Rtf so I can use them in my Rtf document.

I'm afraid that's not possible as form fields in a PDF file have no equivalent either in a Word format (.docx/.doc) or within the Rich Text Format (.rtf). That data is simply stripped during the conversion as there's no equivalent available.

Capture value from the input field

Hello All,
        I'm new to BSP.
I have a small querry.
I have a input field.
beside this a push button.
if i enter a value in the input field and press the push button, i need to capture the value from the input field and pass it to a variable contained in a class.

Here u mean to say that v_value must be one more field type string. is it so ?
But i want to see the value in the same input field
id ="gv_var". i.e if i enter the value "BSPian" in the input field and press "submit" the internal processing will be done as told by u and after that ,on the screen i want to keep that value till i end that session.
i passed a variable v_value in the inputfield value but it's not working ..

Why weneed to call two BAPIs to create a notification in SAP

HI Experts,
There are two BAPIS namely BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE and BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_SAVE for creating a notification.
We have to call the first one with proper data and it returns a dummy number which we need to send to the second bapi to save it.
Why SAP has provided two BAPIS? is there any strong reason for this.

Calling two BAPIs in the sequence in same transacon

I am caling Two BAPIs in a sequnce in MII Transaction. I am using Jco Interface for this. My first Bapi is getting called and for second bapi call , I am etting the following error.
Problem retrieving JCO.Function object: Function [] not found.
Now I would like use session action and in session I will be calling two function with bapis and if something goes wrong i have to roll back the session. suggest me the sequnce of steps.

Clearing the data buffer from the input fields

Hi,
I am using an user exit CONFPP02 for the Tcode: co11n. I have written a program such that the confirmation numbers having the status CNF will not be allowed to be processed. The whole confirmation is terminated when the system checks the confirmation number and its status as CNF. If the status of the confirmation number is PCNF, the program allows the further processing of the Tcode Co11n.
The problem starts when the user enters the PCNF status confirmation number and enters, the system stores the values in the various input fields. Now without exiting the initial confirmation screen, if the user replaces the Confirmation number of the PCNF status to the Confirmation number of the CNF status , the system issues a warning message:" Confirmation no. or order/sequence/operation has been changed
However, the input fields still contain default values from thepreceding confirmation". if the user says yes, the program written is bypassed , thus allowing the reconfirmation of the CNF confirmation number into PCNF confirmation number .
Can anybody suggest a suitable method to clear the data stored defultly in the input fields so that the program can be made to work.

Hi Gilad,
I never use Preview and did not use Preview at all before sending the document over to my most recent client either.
I only opened Preview up this morning after I discovered that all of the form data had disappeared on his end! And the only reason I opened up Preview was because I already knew it looked fine in Acrobat so wanted so wanted to view the form in a different application.
My client would not even have notified me about it had he not sent the signed form back to me and I saw there was no data there! I then called him and asked him about the missing data and he said that he thought I had simply sent over the form purposely with blank fields:(
I have just emailed him to ask him what application he opened it up in. My understanding is that he is on Windows because ne mentioned to me his company was using Windows when we last spoke. Perhaps he has a personal Macbook where he opened it? I just don't know and can hopefully soon find out:)
But THANK YOU for letting me know about that script! I appreciate it:) I have now downloaded and installed it and will just have to use it on ALL of my forms before sending them out:)

How to get the vlaue from an input field without hitting the enter button ?

Is there some way to read the values of an input field that was filled in by an user eg ..
String userEntry = wdContect.<UIElement>.value;
So far, I am only able to achieve this using the onEnter property whoch really is not very user friendly since I can only read in the values only if the user hits enter.
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

How to save changed data from a input field to the source structure

Hi,
I have a small problem with the onChange event with HTML input fields.
When changing a value of a input field or by creating a new value for a field the OnChange event is called by moving away the mouse pointer....
get_form_field( 'field_name' ).
But is it possible to write back the new value in the source field ls_screenstructure_field1 without using the OnInputProcessing?
I ask because my application´s structures have a lot of fields that should be filled and changed by input fields.
It´s not comfortable to request every new value with .. = request->get_form_field(... .

you wanted a onchange for a htmlb:inputfield which would also trigger server event. try the following code.

if the value in the inputfield is changed it would trigger a alert at the client side and also trigger a server event. now you can caputre the value in oninputprocessing.

hi,
The way you are trying to get the input field value works good with hbj type elements.
either you change your input field to an hbj one or use java script inside your jsp page to catch the value
like
for HTML:

and for HTMLB

Removing leading zeros and leading blank spaces from an input field

Hi All,
I have an input field which is alphanumeric and i need to remove the leading zeros and blank spaces in it , but intermediate spaces should be kept .
so i used the UDF
String output = input.replaceFirst("^0+","");
return output;
but this code does not remove the leading blank spaces . Can anybody help in modifying this code so that even the leading blank spaces along with leading zeros can be removed .
