CAML Query to Exclude the file names inside "Archive" folder

Hi,
I need to exclude the files which is already in the "Archive" folder in the same document library. Is there any CAML query to filter only the files from the document library(Exclude the "Archive" folder) files.

Can we remove timestamp which is added infront of the file name of datafile which was imported succesfully , in archive folder, i have a requriment to move file from archive folder to another folder, but programmer is finding diffficulty in moving the file which has time stamp, he can move file with date stamp, but not able to move file which has time stamp, is there is any option in MDIS.Ini file or anywhere in import manager or console to modify the file names , or remove timestamp when file is moved in archive folder.
does anyone faced similar issue, require help.........

Moving file from Ready directory to Archive directory is MDM internal process and I strongly feel it is not possible to control the naming convention of File to be placed in Archive directory.
But you can explain what problem you developer is facing while moving file from Archive directory to some other directory..then we can think about solution to acheive this. Also on which operating system you MDM server is installed.

The best method is to use curl.
Other methods are not reliable, but can work, it depends on several factors (what the script does, what the user does).
Here is an example with the curl command:

Select-string and eliminate the file name of searched file

Is there a way with the select-string command to exclude the file name of the file you are searching and still get the line items that match your results?
Similar to the DOS find command results. I am trying to become completely independent of a DOS window and still have to find to reduce log files and make them easy to read.

Sure. Select-String returns MatchInfo objects, and the string value of the matched line is in the Line property of the objects.

Is there a way to list all the file names (automatically) in a folder to dynamic text box?

I would like to know whether FLASH AS3 has some option to get all the files names from a folder specified and show it in a dynamic text box? Whenever some new files added to this folder it should update the list accordingly.

Not particularly experienced in this field myself, but I've found its just easier to implement an XML file which lists the contents of the folder. It just means that when you upload a new file you have to add it to the list in the xml file also. No real hardship once you figure out the mechanics of it

Yup use the low level File I/O opening the reference once, and closing it once.
As for the path selection you have an unwired input which is the path to use. Programatically set that and you won't be prompted to select a path. Usually this is done with a path constant to a folder, then using the Build Path, to set the file name in that folder.

Get all file names in a folder, set each as text variable

First off, I do not know if this is possible.
For an app I'm writing, I need it to get a list of all the file names inside of a folder, then set a text variable for each of the file names. The app will then display a list of those items, which I know what to do from there.
If anyone knows how I would be able to do this, or alternatives, I would be extremely grateful.

How to set file name and destination folder without user interaction

how can I set the file name and destination folder to generate a pdf file like "c:\myfolder\document.pdf" in this folder automatically.
Is there a tag in .joboptions ?
Goal: User click print button. In the background a pdf will be generated in e.g. "C:\myfolder\document.pdf".
that`s it.
I know that the query dialog for save as can be turned off. But the file name depends on the application.

I feel like this is an incredibly simple question, so I'm a little embarassed to ask, but I've never used automator before. How do I set it up to print just the file names inside a specified folder?

If you're saving this as a Plug-in for the Finder, then the steps would be Get Folder Contents >New Text File > Print Finder Items. There's a more in-depth tutorial here that uses a slightly different method (new text document) which doesn't print automatically.

Retreiving the file names from directory inside another directory from application server

I had a problem in retreiving the file names from a directory inside another directory.
I tried using the FM's SUBST_GET_FILE_LIST, RZL_READ_DIR_LOCAL and EPS_GET_DIRECTORY_LISTING
But here I am getting only one directory details.
Actually my file is located a directory inside one more directory and one more directory and inside the files are located.
i.e total 3 directories inside the 3rd one my files are there.
I need to read the latest file name in the directory.
So that i can do some manipulation after getting the file name.
Is there option like OPEN DATASET , READ DATASET and CLOSE DATASET?
Can anyone please let me know How can i acheive this one.

Never mind, I already found the solution myself.
What I did wrong was:
- not copying the master image to the nbi folder
- selecting the netinstall-restore.dmg image as source to copy to my HD.
The thing is, when you create a netinstall image for 10.5, the image itself is already included in the netinstall image so you don't have to do anything else.
With the 10.4 image however, you also have to copy the master image to the NetBootSP0 directory.
In the *.nbi folder contains an netinstall-restore.dmg file. But that is only to boot you to netrestore, it's not the image itself.
Other alternative is to copy the images to another folder that you share with AFP and adjust the configuration of netrestore like described in this manual:

This manual was also how I figured out that I forgot to copy the image to the NetBootSP0 folder.

Dynamic file name inside the ZIP file

I have done proxy to file scenario, reciever side is the file ZIP file, i have done successfully done Zip file using adapter modules in Communication Channel.
The file name is hard coded like this.

Is there any possible to do dynamic file name instead of hardcoded like add time stamp.

SSIS - creating part of the file name from an id in the database

I am trying to figure out how to pull an "id" from my data source to include in the file name. Right now the file name created looks like customer_002_timestamp.txt. I need to add the id to the file name and I need to grab it at the time I get
the data, so then the file name becomes customer_002_id_timestamp.txt.
My data source is Oracle and I am using Attunity, so I do not have the capability of using the resultset found in the SQL Task because I have to use the data task.
Has anyone ever extracted an id from a query against Oracle using the Attunity connector to add as part of the file name? If so, how would I add that to my control flow task?

Is it a static id value you want
Then you can just use a SSIS variable to hold value from resultset in execute sql task
Then inside your data flow you can use an expression for setting value of another variable which can be used for setting filename in your destination task. The expression will include logic to concatenate id variable also which we populated in the previous
step.
