Can I automatically synch selected playlists in the manual mode?

I was told there is a way to synch selected playlists in the manual synch mode, without having to physically drag and drop hundreds of playlists onto a restored device. Your thoughts much appreciated.

This is usually done with one of the Lookup functions, such as VLOOKUP:
The basic formula is: =VLOOKUP(D,'Table 1-1' :: $A:$B,2,FALSE)
To keep the cells in the bottom five rows 'empty' until an entry is made in column D, the basic formula is placed in an IF statement: =IF(LEN(D)>0,VLOOKUP(D,'Table 1-1' :: $A:$B,2,FALSE),"")
And to catch errors in data entry (such as the one in row 5), that formula is enclosed in an IFERROR statement:
E2: =IFERROR(IF(LEN(D)>0,VLOOKUP(D,Price list :: $A:$B,2,FALSE),""),"Not found")
The last is the formula used in the table above. Enter in E2, then Fill down the rest of the column.

Can NOT update video automatically with selected playlists!

I just bought my iPod today and when I try to put some video on it, the movie does not appear anywhere.
when I click on the Video button, the "automatically with selected playlist" option is hidden and I cant click on it, and no video title can be observed.
Do you have to put video in to certain folder to add them?
And how come the Automatlcally with selected playlist is hidden?

I'm pasting this from the Videora site, the settings worked for me when others didn't, enjoy:
Configuring videora converter
0) Start Videora iPod converter.
1) Click setup in the left nav.
1.5) Click the profiles tab.
2) Click new profile.
3) Now, configure that profile:
profile name: ipod
in the video settings section...
mode: MPEG-4 > CBR
resolution: 320x240
passes: one
bitrate: 768 kbps (384 kbps also works)
framerate: 29.97 fps
in the audio settings section...
bitrate: 128 kbps
sample rate: Input
channels: stereo
4) Click apply to save the profile.
Now, you're ready to transcode.
1) Click convert on the left nav.
2) Click the transcode new video button.
3) Pick your source video. Mine was an AVI from a torrent.
4) Under quality profile, choose "ipod", the profile you created using the steps above.
5) Click start.
Now you're ready to get the video on your ipod
1) In iTunes, under the File menu, select add file to library. Find the transcoded one. By default, the transcoded videos pop out under the Videora install directory.
2) Drag and drop to your ipod.
Questions/observations:
1) I haven't been able to get H264 anything to work. Is it broken? How much smaller than MPEG4 is it?
2) 768 kbps video was about 400 megs/hour; 384 kbps video was about 231 megs/hour. I could readily see a difference in video quality.

Connect your iPod to your computer and when it appears in the Source list click on it to show the preference tabs in the main pane. Go to the Music tab and check that your settings are "Sync Music - All songs and playlists" and not "Sync Music - Selected playlists"

With iPhoto every new photo was automatically imported and saved on my local disk (with "full resolution" that's what I only need). In the new photo app I have still my photo stream and when I move a photo (drag and drop from the photo stream) to a new album it indicates a (plus). My understanding is that the photo is now copied to my local disk. But when I deleted the photo in the photo stream it was also deleted in the album !?
If that is the case I can use the photo stream only until I reach the max of 1.000 photos, then I have to delete photos and I will have no copy left.
How can I "physically" copy a photo of the photo stream to my local disk? I just want to "transfer" all pictures taken with Ipads, Iphones to my central storage on the Mac. Please don't propose to connect it via iTunes (cable) to the Mac.
Any other suggestions?

The amazing device cannot do it because no amazing developer has written an app for it. There is some interest, others have asked, but i have a hunch that the market is fairly limited, and no developer has jumped at the chance just yet.
Any sort of tethered approach means try to feed the material to the pad thru the cck. Which means the app would have to use the allowed/existing cck pathway in a manner that does not violate the sandbox rules. That may be the problem.

So where do you do when apps just seem to stop working, particularly when you paid for an app. I have now had then happen twice and there seems to be very little customer care from Apple when this occurs. Only albums can be sorted manually. Events can only be sorted automatically according to one of the predefined settings "Date, Keywords, Title, Rating".
If you need a manual sort order, selectaall photos in the event and create an album: File > New Album

I am so deeply craving for shutter speed settings in the manual mode so I can take very great night shots.

First of all: I competely agree. Low light shots where anything you are photographing is moving = very bad blur.
Second of all: whilst I don't think it's right that you should have to pay money on top of a flagship device to get the camera working as you expect, there are a couple of this party apps will help until Sony fix this. Camera FV5 has a lot more settings including AE-L (in focus modes) which stops some of the post processing that can mess up low light shots. But be prepared the high volume of settings to play with also makes it less accessible as an all purpose point and shoot app. Camera Zoom FX is somewhere between this app and the stock appin terms of usability and functionality if you want to try that too.

know this might sound silly
but make sure that
1) sync music is checked
2) you have playlist with songs in them
3) your songs have some sort of sorting form on them (artist, genre, album, etc.)
also try
rebooting pc and device and reconnecting
if all else fails, redownload itunes

If you deselect “Manually manage music and videos,” the content you added manually is removed from iPod touch the next time iTunes syncs content. To transfer music from multiple computers, your device must be set to "Manually manage music," sometimes referred to as manual mode.

Why can't I click on playlists with the mouse.

I had asked iTunes to check for song titles. It said that it couldn't find the titles. After freezing and forcing me to restart the program. When iTunes restarted it wouldn't allow me to click on playlists. The only way I could change playlists was by using my arrows. It's still makinig me do that. Why is it doing this?

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.

In our project we've got to automatically fill some characteristics when we're introducing new manual input records.
We've got a dropdown for cost center and a dropdown for company code and we needed to write the values chosen in dropdowns in these characteristics automatically when introducing new records in the manual input line.
Can anyone help me with this?

But when the user selects a value for costcenter from the dropdown box, the column costcenter remains empty, for the new line. So the user still has to fill the value, isn't that right?
