Can I change the text fields displayed in iTunes cover view

I have alot of music in my iTunes library that are from "various artist" cds. when in cover flow view i want to see "song" & "artist" fields displayed not "album" & "album artist". is there a way to change the fields that are displayed. This is especially annoining when in full screen mode, i want to see the artist of the song that is playing, not the artist for the whole album.
I have my iMac in a fairly promenent location so that anyone can see what is currently playing on the system that is almost always piping music throughout the house via several airport expresses.
any tips?

I'm not sure this will work, but I think the best chance is:
Settings > General > Accessibility > Large Text

Can I change the way iCal displays events in Month view?

I don't like the way iCal in the new OS displays events in Month view. It's counter intuitive to have the time of the event be at the far right and grayed out. I find myself staring and slowly scanning down the display just to find out when I have to be at an appointment. I wish they had stayed with the other display, not only was it much clearer, it also word wrapped so you could see the entire description. I have blank space at the bottom of the day, and at the same time missing information because of the lack of wrapped text.

The option you have there is to change the calendar of the event (currently the "University" calendar in your screen shot) not the colour. It is the calendars that have colours in iCal not the events.
To change the calendar colour in OSX 10.7:
Click Calendars (in the top-left corner of the iCal window), and select the calendar by clicking its name in the Calendars pop-up list.
Choose Edit > Get Info.
Choose a new colour from the pop-up menu in the top-right corner of the Info window.
To customize the colour, choose Other, and then make your colour selections in the Colours window.

In a real-world application, no.
In a RW application, a typical need is merely to know the "logical role" of the button (i.e., the button that validates the form, regardless of whether its text is "OK" or "Save", "Go",...). Text tends to vary much more than the structure of the UI over time.
In this case you can get the source's name (+getName()+), which will be the name that you've set to the button at UI construction time. Or you can compare the source for equality with either button ( +if evt.getSource()==okButton) {...}+ ).
All in all, I think the best solution is: don't use the same ActionListener for more than one action (+i.e.+ don't add the same ActionListener to all your buttons, which leads to a big if-then-else series in your actionPerformed() ).
Eventually, if you're listening to a single button's actions, whose text change over time (e.g. "pause"/"resume" in a VCR bar), I still think it's a bad idea to rely on the text of the button - instead, this text corresponds to a logical state (resp. playing/paused), it is more maintainable to base your logic on the state - which is more resilient to the evolutions of the UI (e.g. if you happen to use 2 toggle buttons instead of one single play/pause button).

I made a General Text in T-code SE61, the name is 'ZTEST'.
And at the SE80, in the local program,
I used functions like these:
HELP_OBJECT_SHOW
HELP_OBJECT_SHOW_FOR_FIELD
DSYS_SHOW_FOR_F1HELP
These functions can display F1 HELP.
But I want to send a text using functions,
and display F1 HELP.
Example)
'Hello! This is your program.'
Sending this to F1 HELP by functions, and display.

No, you cannot change.
The only thing you can change as a whole:
SETTINGS/GENERAL/ACCESSIBILTY/ turn on WHITE ON BLACK.
You can test to see if this one fits you. If not change it back.

How can I change the text in toolbars ("Forward" to "Fwd", etc)

I want to shorten the text for items in my toolbar because the address box is way too short. I know how to change the items for items on the second row toolbar (right-click>properties), but I want to change the text for items in the top row. Right click does not show a property option for the items in the top row. For example, I want to change "Back" to "Bk", "Forward" to "Fwd". Two of the items are way too long ("Google Shortcuts v" and "Downloads"). I want to change these to "Gogl extr" and "DnLds". I want both text and the icons.
By any chance, if the above can not be done, can I create custom icons? I'd take the current icon (where are they stored?) and add my own text into the icon, then tell firefox to show the icon.

Preview issue: can't change the text of annotation taken in PDFs.

With Preview you can annotate PDFs (highlight or underline text, taking notes). It is a nice feature, and I use it a lot.
I've notice that after saving the changes made on a PDf, I can no longer modify the text in the notes (I can change the text, but these changes are not saved). To me it is a terrible limitation, I would say it is a BUG.
The workaround is to delete the note, and create a new one with the new text, but it's time consuming.
I hope this behavior will be changed soon.

PDF documents were really never meant to be editable, especially not with a program named "Preview". Use a different format or some specialized software such as PDF Clerk Pro or Full Acrobat.
