Can i integrate the test scripts existing in different systems?

Hi Experts,
I have a script in ERP and another script in SCM system(two different systems). Now in my master script, i want to integrate both and run as a single script. Can i do that?
Many Thanks..
Regards,
Naresh

Hi Christoph,  ALL,
I was not clear with your explanation. let me tell you what i did and what i intend to do.
1) I have created the sales order creation script in ERP system. Script name: zsalesXXXX.
2) I have created the second script to run the planning profile  in other system ( SCM system). script name: zplanningXXXX.
Then i hv created the SDC with RFC destination and target system name as ERP system name for this script.
3) I want to run both the systems in ERP system using a single script. so, I have created a master script in ERP system. Script name:  zintegrateXXXX to run both the scripts i.e zsalesXXXX (created in ERP) and zplanningXXXX (created in SCM).
4) In the master script, zintegrateXXXX I could include the first script zsalesXXXX using the REF command.
5) The problem arises here when i'm trying to add/include the other script zplanningXXXX(created in SCM system) using REF command. It throws an error 'Test script 'XXXXXX' cannot be found in the local system.'
I did all the recordings using TCD Record.
Please advice me, Is there any other command which i should have used instead REF?
or Anything went wrong in the steps i followed?
Kindly advice. It would be very helpful for me.

Naresh

  • Can we change the test scripts in TCK (JavaCard tests for compatibility)

    Hi everyone,
I would appreciate if anyone can tell me if we can change the test scripts when testing JavaCards using TCK. Lets say we want to introduce few more APDU's to the test script which already is present in a precompiled format. Can we somehow add to the script and then compile it again.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    AQ

    Read the JC-TCK documentation:
JC2 Some Conformance Tests may have properties that may be changed.Properties that
can be changed are identified in the TCK configuration interview. Apart from
changing such properties and other allowed modifications described in this User’s
Guide (if any), no source or binary code for a Conformance Test may be altered in
any way without prior written permission. Any such allowed alterations to the
Conformance Tests would be posted to the Java Licensee Engineering web site and
    apply to all licensees.

  • Can we decrease the size of existing datafile?

    Hi,
can we decrease the size of existing datafile?
    Thanks,

It is a very nice script.
But it does not deal with something that appears to be being 'pushed' by some contributors (OK, one, really) to this forum as a suitable 'fix' for some performance problems: using multiple block sizes in one database. It's not surprising the script doesn't deal with this, though, because Tom Kyte has never particularly approved of using multiple blocksizes like that.
Being specific, the script at Ask Tom queries for the setting of db_block_size parameter and uses that to work out what a datafile can be shrunk to. If you have datafiles using non-standard block sizes, however, then that script will not work correctly for them.
It's always potentially dangerous making use of 5-year old scripts found on the internet, even somewhere as good as Ask Tom.
It's also a good demonstration as to why, for at least one reason, it's potentially dangerous following Mr. Burleson's advice on multiple block sizes.

  • Can not run the test form using servlet (patch 8)

Installed 9I AS 1.0.2.2.1 and forms patch 8 on Windows 2000.
Configured the Forms Listener Servlet by following the white paper "Forms 6i Patch 8: Oracle Forms Listener Servlet for Deployment of Forms on the Internet".
I can get the page titled Forms 6i Listener Servlet using URL: http://myserver/servlet/oracle.forms.servlet.ListenerServlet.
However, I can not run the test form using the servlet by the url:
http://myserver/servlet/f60servlet?config=servlet. In the formsweb.cfg file I also added a section
    [servlet]
    serverURL=/servlet/oracle.forms/servlet.ListenerServlet
No meaningful error message. At first it seems very slow, and then shows the "The page can not be displayed" page.
    Please advise.
    Thanks.

u must add "Script Alias ifcgi60 "$ORACLE_HOME/forms60/cgi" in confirguration.

In Oracle functional tool , i can't save the visual script in the different path ...
    For example:
I have installed this suite in drive C: and all the scripts are saved with in it..But i want to save the script in other drive whereas E: drive ...........
    How can i do.....
    Regards
    Deepika

    hi
you can store the scripts in one of the workspace available in OATS.
you wont get a chance to create the work space in other drive then in which OATS is installed.
but if you need to make a back up of scripts then simply copy and paste it wherever you want them, and whenever you need to run the script then copy it and paste to one of the workspace of OATS.
    hope will help you
    regards

  • How can I use the print module to print different size images on one large "canvas"?

How can I use the print module to print different size images on one large "canvas"? An example would be in Photoshop, go to file>new, and create the size paper I want, and move images of different sizes onto it.
I was thinking the print module would do this automatically for me.

You can't, at present. It's been a requested feature, so we'll see if it shows up in a future version, but it's not there at present.

  • How can we do the Testing in Idoc to File Scenario( With out using We19)

    Hi All,
As all we know we can generate the Idocs from SAP R/3 to XI using the change Pointers, this we will apply in Production time.
But as of now in the Test system we can'd do it daily.
So we have already created materials in the SAP R/3 system.
I want to send the Idoc to XI by selecting  some n number of materials.means i want to generate the Idoc for materials.this is like i have to do repeatedly for testing purpose.
    Is there any T-code
    How can we do this
    Regards

    Hi Vamsi,
For the Message Type ORDERS you can configure Output Type (txn NACE) for IDoc generations and then you can trigger the IDoc using transaction WE15.
Selection Parameter will be as follows
Output application: This will be from Output Type
    Object key          : Order Number
Output type         : Output Type name, that you configured
    Transmission medium : A
    Check the checkbox "Send Again".
    Thanks,
