Can I reference part of a menu (a child menu) in a page?

I have my main menu in the navigation with several dropdowns like so:
Programs
|-- ProgramsChild1
|-- ProgramsChild2
|-- ProgramsChild3
About us
|-- AboutUsChild1
|-- AboutUsChild2
|-- AboutUsChild3
Contact us
In a template's sidebar, could I have a module that references only part of this menu? So if a visitor was on the Programs page or any of the Program page children, they would see this on the sidebar:
ProgramsChild1
ProgramsChild2
ProgramsChild3
My actual menus have a lot of items, and it would be wasteful to repeat all of the work to make several menus (not to mention when my client wants to update it they would have to do twice as much work too). This seems like very basic functionality, but I can't find any resources!

This would be doable. There is no documentation on it however. Module menu v2 just outputs the menu as a list and through css you style it as needed. Based on this design, what you can do is something along the lines of assigning separate display rules for each page group. So if you're on a page from "programs", then the root menu items (programs, about, contact) will be set do display:none. The same for subcategories of root items other than "programs"

In Mountain Lion, you can choose a [.pages,.doc,.docx] document and request that it open directly in Preview via the Open with... menu. This includes Word 97/2000/XP .doc files. You cannot do this in Snow Leopard.
The Quick Look functionality on Mountain Lion (also by that name on Snow Leopard), allows one to select one or more documents in the Finder, and display them with a tap from the spacebar. On Mountain Lion, it will display the previous file types, and offer to open them in the default application. On Mountain Lion, Quick Look also offers a Sharing panel for e-mail, messages, and AirDrop. The e-mail option makes a proper attachment in Apple Mail.
The Snow Leopard version of Quick Look will also open an OpenOffice .odt file, even when that application is not installed. A feature improvement over the Snow Leopard version, the Mountain Lion Quick Look offers to open the displayed document in the default application that would ordinarily open it with a double-click. Therefore, on Mountain Lion, with OpenOffice installed (default for .doc/x files on my machine), Quick Look opens the .doc/x and .odt files and offers to open them in OpenOffice.
Quick Look can open other file formats including .rtf, graphics, etc.
Peter's reference to Cover Flow is an alternative Finder view of a filesystem hierarchy. The front-most, selected document viewed in the Finder Cover Flow view, can be opened via the Quick Look button on the Finder toolbar.

How can I transfer part of iPhoto files from my hard drive of iMac to free up my hard drive which is 95% full

My IMAC 24" Early 2008, with Hard Drive of 500 is running out of Memory, down to 25 MGHz. Since I have large collection of photographs in my IPhoto, with fair numbers in raw forms, I presume most of the memory is taken by them. I am unable to find weather that is the cause of low memory, and if it is so, how can I transfer part of them into external hard drive to free up the space. Help into yhe matter will be appreciated. Thanks

Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
Now you have two full versions of the Library.
3. On the Internal library, trash the Events you don't want there
Now you have a full copy of the Library on the External and a smaller subset on the Internal
Some Notes:
As a general rule: when deleting photos do them in batches of about 100 at a time. iPhoto can baulk at trashing large numbers at one go.
You can choose which Library to open: Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library'
You can keep the Library on the external updated with new imports using iPhoto Library Manager

Can I use parted magic to secure erase Apple SSD?

Recently, I have bought Apple SSD128GB (Toshiba HG3 serie) to upgrade my MBP 15" early 2011. It's a second hand drive of my friend so I want to do secure erase by using Parted Magic for improving the performance as factory reset. I have heard about Parted Magic that it will do secure erase by sending ATA command to drive's controller (If I'm not wrong) but some people mentioned OS X Lion has Trim support that needs not to do secure erase. Now I don't know which ones is correct answer and can I use Parted Magic to secure erase this drive. Please give me your ideas.

I don't know, but I doubt it can be done using Disk Utility. I suggest you consult the user manual for it or see if there is a Reset option in the onscreen menues. If you don't have a manual, then you will find one at http://support.apple.com/manuals.

Can't access in Finder Contextual Menu the sub-menu named More

That page is out of date since it doesn't reflect the change in Snow Leopard that did away with the More contextual menu. Try this. System Preferences->Keyboard->Keyboard Shortcuts->Services->Development->enable Create Workflow. Close the prefPane, select the object, CONTROL-click->Services->Create Workflow.
If that solves your issue, then send a message to the page's developer and ask them to update it.

There are some keyboard commands (shortcuts) you can use instead of having to go to the Apple menu -
Control-Eject          This brings up the Restart-Sleep-Cancel-Shutdown window.
Command-Option-Eject          This puts the machine to sleep.
Command-Control-Eject          This closes all apps and restarts the machine.
Command-Option-Control-Eject          This closes all apps and shuts the machine down.

Do you meant a link to one of your other pages or to a location on one of your pages? If it's the latter those are called anchors and iWeb does not support them. However, there are workarounds for that. See this blog: How to use anchors in iWeb. If you don't have a lot of widgets on the page it can work fairly well.

I tried to find some examples/samples on how to create CollectionModel for a table component but not successful.
Can you clarify the following ?
1. "CollectionModel" is referenced only by af:table attributes "value", "selectedRowKeys" and "selectionListener".
The rest of af:table attributes such as "rows", "fetchSize" used to reference the iterator binding in the binding container via the EL expression "#{bindings.VOIteratorBinding.xxx} .
What should I replace that EL expression with?

Hi..I try to built my own menu for graphic programming. How can I use undo and redo in labview with run time menu?

During runtime, by default, LabVIEW has undo/redo data changes under the edit menu. This will undo/redo changes made to controls during runtime. If you want a more extensive undo/redo (custom for your application), you are going to have to do quite a few things
1) Create a custom runtime menu (Edit>>RunTime Menu) and place your own undo/redo controls on it
2) Keep an action history in your program
3) Catch the Shortcut menu event for your custom undo/redo controls
4) Reverse the last action in your histroy when you catch the event
This method would allow you undo entire operations (like resize, move, or whatever kind of functionality you are building into your application) unstead of just undoing data changes.

I just upgraded my Mac Book Pro to Yosemite and get the following error when trying to start up Family Sharing
{my appleID} "is used for sharing purchases in another Family. Accounts can only be part of one Family at a time." I'm not sure what that means or how to fix it. I'm only part of one family! I get the same error message trying to start up Family Sharing on my iPhone and iPad.
