Can I use a windows 8 installation disc for bootcamp or must I have a windows 7 disc?

Hello I'm new to this but apparently i need a windows disc to operate bootcamp and I'm not sure if I can use a windows 8 disc to install it with. Also is there a website or place I can purchase a windows 7 incase I need a windows 7 to install it with? Please Help!

    Unfortunately this happens sometimes. Apple will exchange the disks for new ones without any problems (you will have to send in the damaged disks). Just call the Apple Store or whoever you bought them from.

    Interesting. I have my main flat screen with the Apple TV connected via component through to my Home theater system and wanted to also run it direct to the second HDMI for times when my wife does not want to go through the HT setup, etc. I had noticed a 1080i option, not 1080P. I gather 1080P will come up if I switch it to HDMI? My cable box allows simultaneous component and HDMI outputs. I didn't realize that 1080P is not available on the component spigots.

    No, You can not use sql as a data source for a project.
    You have 3 options to achieve it:
    1. You can create a Sharepoint list with desired column ,fill desired data in that list then you can create a MS project from Sharepoint List.
    2. You can create a SSRS report in which you can display grantt chart Joe has given you that link.
    3. You can write a macro in MPP which will take data from your excel. In excel you will fetch data from your stored procedure. write a schedule which will run every day to update your data or
    create an excel report in which will update automatically and write macro in mpp which will fetch the data then publish it so that it would be available to team members.

    Are they in iPhoto?
    Select the pics in the iPhoto Window and use the File -> Export command. In the resulting window, at File Name, select 'Use Title'. Also check the boxes at Title and Keywords, and they will be written to the IPTC metdata of the files. Complete the export to a folder on the desktop and iPhoto will export the photos using the Title as a Filename. Burn that folder with the Finder.

    Technically, so long as your bundled version is XP with service pack 2 then you should be able to use it.
    Legally, no. When Windows comes with a PC, even a virtual PC, it's license is for an OEM installation. While it's still functionally the same as a copy you'd buy in the store its license is for use only with that PC it came with and no others.

    Yes.
    OEM just means that the Windows OS is dedicated to that computer only. If you sell, replace or throw away the computer you use it on, the Windows CD/DVD goes along with it. (According to the Licensing dialog)
    Just do a Yahoo/Google search for prices is the only way to find it cheaper. Or keep an eye on your favorite web store for sales.
    If you are in college and have an .edu e-mail account thru the college then Microsoft has it for about $30 US. And other deals also.

    But yes, you should be able to connect to your home WiFi network with multiple computers and devices. In my house my wife, my daughter and I will all be using the WiFi Internet connection at the same time with our Laptops and I will also be using my iPad, my daughter uses her iPhone, and we have no issues at all.

    In a situation such as yours, I tend to consolidate items into folders so I have folders of nice workable numbers of images, somewhere between 20 and 200 images. Now, whatever, once you've imported, do your moving within LR, not the OS! I will select all in a folder and drag into a folder a level or two or three above, and then delete the newly empty subfolders. I hope this helps a bit!
    Once you've reached just new Imports of camera output, you'll be flying along.

    You have to use Windows or a Windows utility.
    There are programs that will clone an entire drive (sector) as well.
    DU does not though. Paragon does support Boot Camp.

    You are  allowed to do this. Are you asking how to do it? Just put it in the DVD drive and install like you did the first time. You'll need the serial number included with the DVD's.
