Can I use the Optibay solution to have an SSD+HDD in my 2008 Macbook (MB402) in place of HDD+CD/DVD?

As anyone might have imagined, I am planning to upgrade my 2008 Macbook (MB402). So I am thinking of upgrading the RAM from existing 2GB to 4GB and getting an SSD in place of the CD/DVD drive, which I have rarely used. I am just wondering if there are any issues related to Optibay or Macbay support for White non-unibody Macbooks of 2008 (MB402 specifically). Can somebody help?

If you are happy with your current hdd, you might clone its entire content to the new msata SSD and then remove, resize partitions you don't need on both drives. And, finally, use msata SSD as bootable drive.
Somewhere on the forum I posted detailed instruction, can't find that now. If you want I'll try to search. But the cloning task isn't so difficult.
Note, Lenovo preload systems with win7 have 3 partitions. The 3rd partition - System_DRV - is a system, hidden one, includes Recovery Environment, is accessible from the Disk Manager.

i have got a iphone and have now just brought a ipad but can i share the apps like farm story and city story or do i have to start from strach with new farms and city, as some times i will be using the phone or i could b using the ipad, can any one shed any light on this pls.

I don't know if you have already set up your ipad but you could try this. Backup your iphone then do a restore to your ipad. I think all the data will transfer over. I am not a game type person so I do not know if this will work with games but it did transfer all my datas from other apps. It might transfer the data from your games too. But if you already set up your ipad and loaded some apps on it, you will have to re-download everything again and you will lose any data on your ipad if you do a restore from your iphone.

I've seen a lot of producers studio pics, using 2 monitors, it seems to be they've connected there MacBooks up to a 24" + TV/computer screen,
I would like to know how to do this, what cables i need etc. Also, I havent got a spare monitor anywhere, but i have a iMac G5 (power PC) in my studio, could i possibly link my macbook up with my G5, so i can work on my MBP and use the screen of the G5 mac?

What cable you need depends on which ports the monitor and computer have. If you want to use a monitor built into a computer, the cable required is an Ethernet one unless otherwise noted; this also requires setting up Virtual Network Computing.

I have never done this myself, however I know you can use some computer as the WiFi hotspots. Macs do, and some PCs do.
There is not a way to physically connect the iPod to use the computers Internet connection.

Your iPhone's iOS must be same or newer than the one in backups. In your case it is older so you need to update your iPhone and then recover it with backup.

Yes, you can do this and it's something I've been trying to do, but I'm currently having issues. I have another thread stating I consistently get "connection failed" messages. I'm basically storing my music/photo/video files on the TC and keeping my Mac hard drive fairly lean. In terms of NAS functionality, the TC is very basic. Synology/QNAP and others have a lot more features so don't rule them out.

First, Go to System Preferences, keyboard, and click on the Keyboard tab
Make sure that the checkbox by "Use all F1, F2, etc, keys as standard function keys" is NOT checked.
Next, click on the Show All button, and select Bluetooth. You should see your Apple Wireless Keyboard listed on the left side of the screen.
Click once to select it, and then click the gear icon at the bottom of the box, and choose Disconnect.
Power off the keyboard by holding down the power button on the keyboard for a few seconds until it show "keyboard Off on your imac screen, then turn it back on again.
The device should appear once again in your bluetooth list.
Try out the volume control buttons now, and see if that cleared things up

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Nothing personal to you or Rajshee, but this is exactly why I absolutely despise these "community forums" (not just Adobe but any company). I called the Tech Support phone line today after digging and digging for a phone number, and they told me the exact opposite, and they did it a lot faster than it was possible to get a forum response. (That's really not personal, because you can't control that, but it's a fact.)
Their answer: As long as I'm signed in with the same ID, I can try, say, Photoshop CC on my iMac at home and also try Acrobat Pro CC on my Windows 7 machine at work. Same account, same login, one trial.
This makes complete sense to me as I'm financially on the hook (potentially) for the same package. If I give away my login to someone else, which I wouldn't do, I'm still on the hook. This is why the cloud approach to software is such genius and I applaud it.
BTW, 99% of the "community forum" wrong answers come on Microsoft sites, so don't feel bad.
