Can Message be used instead of Lyncs

So at work, we use Outlook and Lyncs. And I know you can add facebook chat and other things through Jabber to the message app, but can I add my microsoft Exchange account so that I could use OS X's Messages instead of using Microsofts version of Lyncs for the Mac?

As you are aware Messages can do AIM, Jabber (which includes GoogleTalk and Facebook Chat), Yahoo and the iMessages and Bonjour.
Bonjour is from Mac to Mac Chats on your LAN.
This technique with a Jabber account can allow you to added some Buddies from some other services
Also look at what can be added at Facebook or Google or even AIM.
Whilst you can't add Other Service buddies via Messages (or the older iChat) you can sometimes do it as the Web Login for the service.

Hi!
I am developing a midlet which main task is reminding. So I need to make the Midlet "sleep" and "Wake up" with a sound (crucial) when the user needs to be reminded. For that purpose i am aware of the possibility to used pushregistry.
However for some handsets e.g. Nokia 6230 the reminding is done without a sound and I have no way to invoke a sound before the user himself activates the reminder = too late.
I wonder if instead it would be possible to have the midlet running in paused mode by calling pauseApp() (e.g. with a small icon in the corner). The only task it should perform would be a timertask that tells when the application should be active again.
During the time it sleeps I would like the user to see his normal screen and be able to perform his normal tasks.
I hope you have an idea for solving this problem

Ranji and Leo,
MPLS can not be used instead of L3 routing. MPLS itself depends on L3 routing to provide the key information for MPLS to operate upon. An MPLS-enabled router still needs a routing table:
to handle unlabeled packets
to assign labels to known networks
to know which neighbor's label assignments should be used for which destinations (next hops)
I do not see a way of having a network without L3 routing and with MPLS active. Granted, there are advanced topics in MPLS like MPLS Transport Profile that reduce routers to MPLS switches and leave the task of populating the LFIBs to a central control element, but these solutions are way out of the scope of the original question.

If you're referring to web browsers on your iPad, there is no Firefox for iOS. There are other alternate web browsers, though, including Opera and iCab. Search the App Store for "web browser".

Wrong period of CAN message when using veristand

I use Veristand. The period of CAN message is set to 10ms and the other is 100ms. After loading the project into PXI platform, the real transmission period is different. There are no rules about the period. The baud rate of CAN is 250Kb/s. And the real period of CAN message is monitored by Kavasar.
Is there any body, who has faced with this problem?

Real time processor is "PXIe-8135". CAN board is "PXI-8513/2". High speed can and 250Kb/s is used. Karvasar works well and is validated by other CAN instrument.

I can't make or take phone calls, but i can message and use data. Has this happened to anyone else? I've gone through three Samsung Galaxy S5's in the past three days, two of which have this problem and one just stopped working all together.

Im in 79707. So to recap my whole case: I upgraded my device using the verizon wireless website. I received my phone and switched my old SIM card from my Droid Razr Maxx HD into the new Galaxy S5. Everything worked fine until the next morning (May 31st) when I woke up and the phone wouldn't turn on. I took the phone to the local Verizon store and they were also unable to turn it on. They issued me a new Galaxy S5 (referred to as phone 2) and switched my SIM card into that one.
With PHONE 2 i was able to make calls and receive calls, along with text and data for approximately four hours. After that, i was unable to use the phone function of the device, but text and data were still functioning. I took PHONE 2 back to the Verizon store where they attempted to hard reset the phone twice, they also installed two new SIM cards at the store. After this they would get the same error, which is the phone just reading "Dialing..." after attempting to make a call. The Verizon associate declared the phone "DOA" and issued me another Galaxy S5 (referred to as PHONE 3).
PHONE 3 worked well, with phone text and data featured intact from when I received it on the after noon of the 31st until approximately 2:30PM on June 1st. I contacted Verizon Tech Support via Gmail phone to attempt the correct the problem. They reset the connection, had me do a battery pull, had me close the "phone" application, and erase the data and catche, then restart the phone. All of which had no effect. My phone is still able to receive texts and use data (even with wifi off) it simply cannot make or take phone calls. all it says is "dialing..." when I attempt to make a call. When other phones call my device it rings once on their end and directs them to voicemail, PHONE 3 does not ring on my end.
I have made sure my old phone is completely powered down.

MS uses ActiveX controls on the update site, so you can only access that site via IE and not with Firefox or other browsers.

We have a problem in our Brazil company code.
When we have a document with value higher than 5,000.00 BRL it is subject to Pis/cofins tax. In the Boleto (paper) document the amount is after tax deducted. But we see the full amount in the Vendor line item in SAP
When the system reads the bar code and saves this code in the vendor line item during the document change we get a warning message no."8B797: Amount in Bar Code is incorrect;Amount in the line item can be used instead".
And the amount in the Barcode line automatically adjusts itself to the line item amount which is the pre-tax amount (full amount).
Example: Amount in the SAP Invoice doc is R$ 6,268.72
Amount in Boleto (paper) R$ 5,977.22 (after deducting PIS/COFINS) - This amount appears in the bar code but once we press enter after the warning message it automatically adjusts to R$ 6,268.72 .
We tried few notes like 784748 to apply but it says it is obsolete. We are on ECC 6.0 Release level 11.

Why can't I use my previous MobileMe email address instead of creating a new one? When signing up for iCloud I'm asked to choose an email address [email protected] I am already using an @me address via moblileme. When i input that address it states that that address is already taken. Try picking a new one. I don't want a new one I want to use my mobileme address. How can that be done?

It appears you set up a new iCloud account rather than migrating your MobileMe account over to iCloud. I migrated everything over this morning and am still using my old MobileMe email address.
Check to see if you can migrate rather than open a new account.

You can get that error if there is still an old Adobe Reader plugin in the plugins folder in the Firefox program folder.

Apple has really crappy NTFS read-only that does not always work. And it is probably a licensing issue.
Paragon Software is constantly being updated and supported with their NTFS for Mac OS X - they also have an HFS+ driver for Windows that works - Apple's HFS+ read-only driver for Boot Camp / Windows does not.
I keep seeing problems and lack of support for MacFUSE, that could change.

After the latest update of Itunes I can no longer use it. Windows Error 127 and restore Itunes is the message I get. Do I have to download it again fro m the Apps store?

Do I have to download Itunes again from the App Store after updating my original I can no longer use it.

Based of what you have provided then I would say yes download iTunes from Apple’s website and also make sure that your version of Windows is up to date as well. Take a look at the article below to walk you through that plus some other steps necessary to get you back to using iTunes.

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, does your device connect without that message now?
