Can´t download photos to my iPOD

I bought recently an iPOD 5th gen. of 30 gyg, and successfully download the music from my i-tunes (around 6gyg of music) into the iPOD, BUTTTT... whe try to download my photos (dirctly from my image, and recently with adobe photoalbum 3.0), the iPOD icon on i-tunes suddenly start appear in red color and in seconds appear a message that say:
"iPOD can´t updated. Had not might read or rec on the disc..
I notice in downside, where i-tunes notice how many space you have available, a padlock locked... somebody with an idea?...

Since I am impatient and can't wait for 90 minutes for an answer, I have decided to lose everything on my iPod and try to remember all the songs I had on them. But if anyone can help me prevent this in the future, that woud be great!

I managed to get my photos downloaded directly from my camera to my iPod, but now I can't seem to get the photos off the iPod and onto my computer!

Tip: Photos are stored in a DCIM (digital camera images) folder on iPod. You can also transfer images to your computer by opening this folder and dragging the image files to the desktop. To do this, your iPod must be enabled for use as a hard disk.

I seen so many of these post for windows users.
Try my little "trick" (must be running iOS 4.3 or better)
Download the app "Download Manager Lite" (FREE) or "Download Manager" Full ($ 1.99 USD)
After downloading, transfer it to iTunes
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
After transferring, Go to your iDevice (on itunes), to the apps page, scroll down, you can add/save videos and/or files.
Click on "Add", find the folder of which your movies are being downloaded. Its much faster than syncing from itunes.
You can do the wi-fi transfer, the best part is that you don't have to be connected to the same wi-fi.
You will get 2 different URLs you need to type on your computer. Type the Web URL not the ftp URL. After that, you should have access to the app, without the need of itunes.
Click on Add, find the folder of where your movies are stored, faster than syncing with iTunes.

I am trying to download photos from my iPod to either an external hard drive or my computer, which has a Windows operating system. The iPod should function like an external hard drive, right? iTunes syncing to iPods (that are not iPod touch) mostly goes one way, from computer to iPod. For photos, at the time you synced the photos to the iPod, there is a setting that you needed to have enabled in iTunes if you later want to recover them from the iPod. This setting is on the iPod's Photos tab in iTunes (where you set up photo syncing). There is a checkbox for Include full-resolution photos.
IF that checkbox was checked, you can Enable disk use on the iPod's Summary tab, and find the full-res photo files in the Photos folder on the iPod. Otherwise (if setting not checked), when iTunes syncs the photos to the iPod, iTunes converts the images to a very low-resolution version that is optimized to fit the small iPod screen and stores the image data in a single database file (to save storage space). There may be third-party software that can extract separate photos from that database file, but the resulting photos will look bad blown up to computer screen size.

Photos synced from computer to ipod are one way only - computer to ipod. As they came from your computer in the first place, they should still be there.
Pics taken with ipod are imported as with any digital camera.

I have iPhone 4 with iOS 5. Can't download photos and videos from my iphone because my PC doesn't see it. Also my camera roll doesn't show right thumbnails and when i open a photo it shows it in low resolution. Only after i start editing it shows the photo itself in original resolution. iTunes recognises my phone but freezes on back up. When i updated my phone to ios 5 everything was wiped clear and i lost all of data that was in it. Please help me, i do not want to lose my data again.
I plugged it in to another pc (win7) but no files in DCIM.

appears to be one of the bugs associated with ios 5 that need to be worked out. (i had a problem where I had music on my phone, the phone didn't recognize the music but the computer could find it)
While I don't know how to fix the immediate problem, I have a workaround that will get you past this if you are willing...
My suggestion is to turn on icloud and photostream on your iphone, and download and install the icloud control panel on your pc found here

take a "picture" (quickly press the home button and lock button at the same time) of each picture on your device so they show up in your camera roll and will sync to your photostream cloud. This will in turn cause your pc to download the photos from your photostream cloud via the icloud control panel. Your photos will be on your computer, and you will never have to sync your phone to get photos off your iphone again.

If you want to copy back photos that were originally synced from a computer then you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer (which has a free lite version called Simple Photo & Video Transfer) which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.
The rear camera is listed as 720p, which I believe is 1280 x 720

If it's an iOS device you can sync via iTunes.
Other devices: Export from iPhoto to the FInder and send them from there.

I have a 1.8Ghz G5. Got it right after it came out. I want to get an iSight after playing around at the Apple Store with those built in iSights using Photo Booth.
I went to the download section of apple.com but couldn't find Photo Booth. I'm guessing its only for iMac/MacBook with Front Row...

As explained in the first of the iMac G5 (iSight): Frequently Asked Questions, Photo Booth only available the new MacBook Pro, iMac G5 (iSight) or iMac (Early 2006) computers.
I know of NO legal way to get Photo Booth other than by buying one of the new Macs.
WebcamTweaker, which makes snapshots and movie clips with effects similar to those Photo Booth offers, is available from this source.
In addition to the apps Niel links above, there are many other apps that will capture snapshot and video / movie clip without special effects. Several are available in this list of Some Applications You Can Use With iSight. Unlike Photo Booth's or WebcamTweaker's integrated effects, if you use these apps to capture images or clips, you will need a separate image editor to modify the images after capture.

Depends. If you have the camera connection kit you can try importing the photos from your phone to your iPad. However, if your phone is like mine, it won't work. The camera connection kit needs a very specific naming protocol. For it to see files, they need to be in a folder named DCIM and have file names of exactly 8 characters.
What will probably be easier is for you to connect your phone to your computer, get the photos onto your computer and then import them into your ipad. Or perhaps text/mail them off your phone to a mail account you can access on your iPad.
Or if the photos are on a removable memory card, get that to your computer, pull the photos off that way and then use iTunes to sync them onto your iPad.
