Can't make small movements in CS5

Hi all,
I have searched the forum and the web in general to find an answer to a frustrating problem I am experiencing without luck and am hoping someone here can help.
Just want to say up front: I have snap to grid, snap to point turned off: whenever I try to move an object in Illustrator a small amount, it snaps back to where it was originally unless I move it a much larger amount just as if snap to point or grid were on.This issue is making it impossible for me to create anything that requires me to be anymore precise than a cave-man wielding a blunt club.
I have uninstalled and re-installed ilustrator with no luck. I am running vs 15.0.2
I can't find any preference that addresses/affects the issue
I am on a Mac: OS 10.6.7
2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
13 GB 1066MHz DDR3

It sound as if you have fun with Align to Pixel Grid; you may turn it off in the Transform Panel.

Yes, you can. I just worked on a short movie project yesterday in which I added still photos to a short movie clip (caveat: I'm learning a new camera and iMovie 11 at the same time, so this answer comes by way of trial and error, not solid knowledge). After a few frustrated tries, I learned to use to Photo Browser to access my iPhoto library; then I learned you can only add photos to a project in the Project Library.
Since both methods you tried (Photo Browser and Window>Photos) were greyed out, and since both methods access your iPhoto library, my limited knowledge suggests that iMovie 11 can't find it. Apparently, the iPhoto library is the ONLY place that iMovie 11 looks for photos.
However, I just now tried dragging a photo from my desktop into a project in the Project Library, and it was successfully added. Give it a try.

Using Apple's camera connection kit, you can use a flash drive to IMPORT photos and videos. However, you can't EXPORT any type of file to the flash drive.

Delete the app using this free utlity > Download AppCleaner for Mac
Then re download the app using the same Apple ID it was originally purchased from. You won't be charged again.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.

Can't import small movie sequences from still (mov) Cameras

Hi
In iPhoto I've got photos but also small movie sequences. Trying to use
some of them in my test project - doesn't seems to work.
Can't just drop them from media/iPhoto into the new project.
Any other way that might work ??

I might have guessed.
Trying to make a test movie. It's said to be a simpler paradigm on howto.
But still after one hour I've not assembled 10 min viewable content.
Probably to dumb for this product. But I'll keep on till I get a result.
It has to be able to do anything with it.
As a last resort I make a Magic Movie (if it is left).

Hey, i managed to sort out the screen but it won't let me use videos or make a movie/trailer

I can confirm that iDVD still burns DVDs from files exported from iMovie.
Steps I took:
1. Create a project in iMovie 10.0.1
2. Go to File>Share>File... and for Size choose Large 540P (960 x 540) and click Next
3. Choose a location on the hard drive to save the file to.
4. Wait for the blue circle activity indicator to finish.
5. In Finder, verify that iMovie created an MP4 file in the location specified in step 3.
6. Open iDVD and click "Create New Project."
7. Give the project a name and save it to your hard drive.
8. Drag the file you created earlier from the Finder into your iDVD project window.
(or go to File>Import>Video... and choose your video there)
9. Make any adjustments to drop zones, etc.
10. Click the burn button.
11. Insert a DVD and let it do its thing.
This produced a working DVD for me.
Here are my software specs:
OS X 10.9 Mavericks
iMovie 10.0.1
iDVD 7.1.2

Can you make a movie uncopy able? Protect it?

Is there a way to watermark, or make a movie that you make, uncopy able. So if i put it on to a dvd, that it is copyrighted or protected, so others cant make copies? I have my own video buisness and was wondering this, so that people dont try to make copies of movies to save money, instead of purchasing more copies from me. Hope i didnt ramble a bit.

Is there a way to watermark, or make a movie that you make, uncopy able.
there's no technique to give any -r/+r media a copyprotection, this can only be accomplished by professional copiers using glass-masters etc..
for adding a watermark (what is IMHO more effective, copyprotection can be "ripped"), read my website.. (using QTpro6 still... hope, I can update after Xmas.. )

How Can I make a movie on my iweb begin playing before it is fully loaded?

OK, Forgive me in advance. I am a new "Mac Man". 5 days and counting. I just published a web site using iWeb 09. I have a 12 meg movie on the page. The movie doesn't begin playing until it fully loads (takes about 60 seconds). How can I make the video play as the rest of it loads. (like it does on Youtube)?

How can I open a movie in CS5?

I'm trying to make an animated gif.
I've tried several ways, but with no results.
If I drag the .mov file to the CS5 app, I get the message: "Could not complete your request because Photoshopdoes not recognize this type of file."
If I try to open from CS5, it does not "see" it as a readable file it can open.
If I try to open from Bridge, it does not list CS5 as an app that will open it.
Using 10.7.4, 2x2.66 GHz 6-core Intel Xeon, with 27GB of DDR3.
Repaired permissions prior to all this.
Any ideas out there?

I discovered that I had to have CS5 open in 32 bit, instead of 64 bit. Only then would it open the file, and only by importing it this way: Import>Video Frames to Layers... It seems as thought Adobe has changed some things, as it used to be possible to open the file directly by loading it into PS. Also, the Animation window no longer has the "Timeline" tab. Not sure what that change was about, but it would be nice to have it. Regardless, I was able to open the file and get to work. Finally. Whew!

How Can I Make Smooth Moves of Still Images?

I'm doing a lot of moving stills in a current project, but I can't figure out how to add acceleration curves to the moves. I know the pen tool has a "smooth point" to add curves to keyframes, but I don't know where to apply them. I can apply them in the "scale" setting in the viewer, but not "center."
I'm sure there's an easy way, but I can't figure it out. Id prefer to do it in the canvas if possible. I want to reposition, slide, and zoom my photos so they don't "clunk" on the keyframes.

In the Canvas, make sure you're in Image + Wireframe mode.
Set up the basic move:
- position the layer at one end of the motion
- set one keyframe on Center
- move the playhead to the other end of the intended motion and move the layer again.
Right-click on the closing keyframe and choose Linear. Look really closely at the motion path (a series of small purple squares) in the Canvas. Connected to the currently selected keyframe (green square) are two circles, one dark purple and one light purple.
The lighter circle controls the curve of the motion. Adjusting this will change the path the object moves along.
The darker circle controls the acceleration. You'll see the smaller purple squares bunch up or spread out as you drag the darker purple circle; the further away the squares are from one another, the faster the motion.
Since you want to keep the path the same but change the acceleration, just move the darker circles. Ease In/Ease Out will start the process for you but with less control.
If all that doesn't give you the results you're looking for, consider using Motion or iPhoto instead. Some third-party plug-ins can also help if you're doing this a lot.

I just downloaded iMovie onto my iPad. I imported some videos and some pictures from my camera via the camera connection kit. However, only the pictures, not the videos show up in iMovie. I am going to be traveling and i am not going to bring my computer, so i was going to edit the movies on my iPad. But i can't if they dont show up in iMovie!!! Help please! Thank you!! I can watch the videos fine in the Photo Library but they arent there when i open iMovie. I have tried to email the videos from my iPad to myself then open them on my iPad and save them in my Photo Library, but that didnt work either...

How can I make my movies play on the web!?!!!

I followed the tutorials by Tom Green on using Edge Animate to package your videos in order to place within Muse.
It's actually a simple process, (maybe too simple), because the content plays perfectly locally but once posted the movies are dead.
I drilled into the FTP and the files are all there neatly organized by Muse, but the browser can't play them at runtime.
Any help?

How can I make my movies always start from the beginning?

I want to use my iPod to present short videos as part of a live presentation. I've conquered the hurdles, and have the iPod sending video out to my projector, but I want to ensure that every movie starts at the beginning, even if I had cut it short in the last presentation.
I thought I saw a setting for this somewhere, but now I can't find it.
