Can't see imported app module client interface methods

I needed to re-use the data model from another workspace in my current project, so I imported it.
When I import a model into another application, the application module's client interface method(s) will show up in the data control palette (and thus become useable as the action of a data action) only if I click on the originating application in the application navigator (and it is certainly useable that way). But if I click anywhere in the application I've imported the model into, the data control palette doesn't display the method(s).
Is this a bug? Is there a way to see the method(s) without having to click on the originating application?

We are developing an application with number of projects (one for each module). We have got a common project with an application module, entity and view objects which are common for the entire application. For reusability, this common project is shared in session scope since most of them are of static nature.
In the shared application module's implementation class, a common method has been included that will be used for data filtering by constructing/appending where clauses in a particular application scoped view object. This method has been exposed as client interface method so that other projects can make use of it. The common project is compiled as an ADF Library jar for accessing it in other projects.
For accessing the exposed client interface method, from the view controller layer, we can include its reference in the page definition file and can execute the method from a managed bean by finding the operation binding from the page definition. But, in case if we wish to access the method in another model project, we could not do so.
Now, my questions are:
1. Is it the correct location(Shared App Mod. Impl) for including the logic to filter the data?
2. Is it possible to access the app. module impl method in another project's impl classes (Let it be entityImpl or viewObjectImpl or viewRowImpl or AppModImpl) ?
3. If it is possible, how it has to be done?

Can not see the device net Master Interface in my project.

Can not see the device net Master Interface in my existing project. Need to Modify exististing code. Can not recomiple and create exe file after making changes. Error says the vi's are broken. Tried re-installing industrial communications for device net but get an error saying a newer version is already installed. Do I need to plug my computer into the device net scanner to fix this?

Assume the installation disk is an OS X disk? If it's the original one that came with the system (grey-colored disk versus black retail disk) have you tried to hold the alt key down when you boot? This would allow you to choose the Apple hardware test. If you can do this, choose the Apple hardware test, click the arrow to the right, and when prompted choose the extended test. Does that give you any errors or messages about a hardware problem?
Are you able to hold the C key down when you reboot, to boot off the installation disk?

On your iPad, just go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, etc.>Add account>iCloud and put in the details of the account you set up. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

Does any music show in the Purchased tab on the iTunes store app on your phone ? Music can't be re-downloaded in all countries, and even where it can be it will only appear whilst it remains in the store. Do you have your purchases on your computer and/or on a backup of your puchases so that you can sync them to your phone ?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

thank you for the help. I should have said I had a iphone 3. A friend has the same phone and she showed me how she can see what web pages are open when she double taps the home button. Mine is set to bring up favourites when I double tap (chosen from settings>general>home button).. BUT my choices are only HOME; SEARCH; PHONE FAVORITES; CAMERA or IPOD. I changed my choice to HOME but that just defeats the purpose as when I am at the home page and double tap nothing happens. Am I making sense?

Is there a way to delete an app when you can't see the app's icon? I have so many apps that they don't all show up on the existing screens. I know it can be done by connecting to a computer and using iTunes, but I'm on the road away from my Mac.

I tried that and instead of showing me the inaccessible screens, it just shortens the number of available screens. Then if I reset the home screen in preferences it removes the folders I created and I'm back to square one.

the settings are gone, i guess. But even worse, I cannot get the iPad2 to play Full HD thru the Apple digital AV adaptor using apps that support (and advertise this), like AVPlayer HD. This definiteley used to work before one of the last iOS upgrades. (I am now at 5.1.1).

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
If it does, I would connect to iTunes, backup the phone and then restore it again.

certainly not, it was a very simple day schedule. After a lot of mucking around i found if i uploaded the build to testflightapp.com i could change the mobile provisioning from developer to adhoc and then i could upload it on to my ipad. it also exposed the weakness of using DPS and not going through xcode as i think i needed to tell my ipad that it was a development pad. quite a lot to take in over a couple of days but i managed to get it out using the testflight but would still like to get a way through i tunes.

Client interface methods in application module editor get unselected

I have a problem with my application module client interface.
Every time I edit source of application module methods that are exposed as a client interface, they get unselected in application module editor (they are not exposed anymore).
Then I have to shift them from left (available) to the right (selected) manually.
Has anyone experienced such problem?
I'm using JDev 10.1.2.
