Can't solve "valid signing identity not found" issue

Hello,
I'm having a lot of trouble getting an app to build properly.  I'm using the Corona SDK, but I believe that my true problem lies here:
It says, "Valid signing identity not found."
I've gone through the process of uninstalling all of my Provisioning Profiles and reinstalling them numerous times but still haven't solved this issue.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
- Bret

Hi etresoft,
Thanks so much for taking the time to reply to my question.  I am under the assumption that my build issue has something to do with the "Valid signing identity not found." message that appears in the XCode Provisioning Profiles window.  In all probability, this is causing my build issue, and it seems like a Provisioning / Keychain issue and not necessarily a Corona SDK issue. I did contact Corona anyhow and I'm waiting for a reply.
If there's any chance you can help me debug the "Valid signing identity not found", I would be very grateful!
Cheers,
- Bret

    Hi All,
    Developer:
I can able to use the dev provisioning after revoking the developer certificate. All the dev certificates are showing modify status. So no issue with any certificates, y becoz all are dev certificates.
    Distribution:
I have already submitted one app in the app store with version 1.2. Now, I wanna release 1.3 version, but while installing the distribution provisionings. It is showing "Valid Signing identity not found" error. I don't have choice to take the p12 from my old. Only one option revoke, I think. If I revoke the distribution certificate, will it resolves my issue. If I revoke, can we upload versions for existing one. How can i resolve my issue "Valid Signing identity not found."
    Thanks,
    Rajesh

  • Valid code signing identity not found

    hi guys,
I have my mac working perfectly with my device using my dev cert (for development purposes not the distribution) and provisioning profile. I can install my apps. But if i'm using another mac, it can't find the valid code signing identity, when I'm installing the same cert and provisioning profile. What should I do to make it install in different machines? is that possible? Please help and tell me what to do. Thank you.

However, if you look at the attached image, you'll see that my installed licenses include the license name "Simulation".
Why is Vivado complaining about "Simulation engine failed to start: A valid license was not found for simulation" ?
    Thank you,

    Hi Rob,
The reason for the license error is: Hostid mismatch. i.e., the hostid of the machine is different from the hostid in the license file.
I observe that the license file is generated with hostid: 52540019ee7e. You can cross check your hostid of the machine by running the command: lmutil lmhostid
You can rehost the license file using the steps mentioned in the section "Rehost or change the license server host for a license key file" in the following user guide: http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx14_5/irn.pdf

  • Problem setting up OCSP in LAB "Bad signing certificate on Array Controller" Signing Certifcate: not found

    Hello
Can someone please help me with the following question.
In my LAB I have setup the following (MSDB subscription)
Windows 2003 R2 Active Directory (Forest and Domain at "Windows Server 2003" level)
2012 R2 offline Root CA (published the ROOT CA certificate to member server "LocalMachine/Trusted Root Certification Authorities" store via GPO as could not recall the certutil command to publish to directory services)
2012 R2 online enterprise issuing CA (works fine)
Setup OCSP on a separate server following a number of article
Templates To Issue > OCSP Response Singing
Gave the OCPS Server "Read", "Enrol"  (some confusion in various articles about also assigning Auto Enrol permission but I did not)
Gave Network Service account same permissions as above
Configured AIA extension on issuing CA for http://OCSPServer1/ocsp
opened the OCSP MMC and configured Revocation Configuration called MyConfig, choose the issuing CA cert by browsing AD The wizard picked up the CA and the Template no problem and the wizard automatically selected the check box to Auto Enrol
    etc..
However I get the following message at the end of the wizard "Bad singing certificate on array controller" and under array controller section certificate status says "Signing Certificate: Not Found"
Check MMC > Certificates > Services > OCSPSvc\_MyConfig_  no certificate present
At issuing CA > Certificate Authority > Issued Certificates   no OCSP signing certificate issued.
Do I need to public the ROOT CA Cert to AD too rather than pushing to LocalMachine\Trusted Root Certification Authorities via GPO?
I have also tried giving the OCSP Server and Network Service 'Auto Enrol" rights on the template but no difference.
What I would like to also know please is, what triggers the "enrolment" for the OCSP cert, is this when you complete the OCSP Revocation Configuration wizard? and does the OCSPSvc then re-enrol for another cert in two weeks, even without auto enrol
    configuration on the template?
    Thanks very much in advance

OK A little more information (should have thought about checking the Windows event logs first)
One the OCSP Server, when completing the "Revocation Configuration" Wizard I get two Error events in the Windows Application Log as follows
    Event ID 34
The Online Responder Service encountered an error while submitting the enrollment request for configuration Config9 to certification authority SubCA01.LAB.local\LAB-SUBCA01-CA. The request ID is -1.(The permissions on this certification authority do not allow
the current user to enroll for certificates. 0x80094011 (-2146877423 CERTSRV_E_ENROLL_DENIED))
    Followed by Event ID 23
The Online Responder Service could not locate a signing certificate for configuration Config9.(Cannot find the original signer. 0x8009100e (-2146889714 CRYPT_E_SIGNER_NOT_FOUND))
So much clearer as to where the issue lies, will do some further digging
    Thanks

    Hi Buterem,
I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your MacBook Pro since your recent Yosemite update. I also apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of the issue you are describing. If you are having intermittent but persistent responsiveness issues with your mouse or trackpad, you may want to try using Activity Monitor to see if these incidents correspond to occupied system resources, especially system memory or CPU. You may find the following article helpful:
How to use Activity Monitor - Apple Support
If the entire system hangs or locks up (for example, if the system clock freezes and stops counting up), you may also be experiencing some variety of Kernel Panic. If that is the case, you may also find this article useful:

If the error message is IHC204 "No valid clearing partner was found", it may be due to the missing correct configuration in Set Up Creation of Payment Requests for Inbound IDoc in FI, which links the clearing partner, ALE logical system partner type and IHC account number.

  • "valid dvd driver not found"

I have a Powerbook G4 12"--has always worked without problem.
However, this am tried to play DVD--got the error message "valid DVD drive not found". No driver seen in system profiler.
There is no CD or DVD stuck.
Have gone through the workarounds suggested in discussions--open firmware ejects etc...
Has anyone found a solution other than paying $500 to replace the drive?
    Many thanks

First see if the issue is user or system related. Go to Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Accounts and add an administrator account, and log into it after logging out from the Apple menu.
If that doesn't work, try locating a preference in the System/Library or Hard Drive -> Library for com.apple.dvdplayer and removing it. Same for cache files.
If it still doesn't work, try VideoLan Client:

  • MacBook - the Airport hardware not found issue

    Hi,
has anyone here had a similar 'Airport not found' issue?
At random start ups, connection fails and I get the above message from the Network pane. Then I have to reboot the Mac to get an Airport connection again. And when I do I'm asked if it's ok for system prefs to join the wireless networks on my list - everytime.
Another thing that seems to fix it is to do a software update from Apple.
I tried trashing prefs, zapping, resetting psu and what else, but a malfunction pattern didn't emerge. Sometime it works sometime it doesn't
Because it's intermittent I'm struggling to understand if it's an hardware issue (airport failing) or something else.
I'll take to an apple centre soon, but anyone here has had a similar issue?
    thanks already
    val

cheers, I did try that. No problem found... I guess I should take it as good news

  • [Solved] Upgraded, can't connect to internet, nl80211 not found.

So after an upgraded I enthusiastically rebooted my computer to find that now I can't connect to the internet.
My technique was that I had manually set up a wpa_supplicant configuration with wlp4s0 as my interface, and had
    dhcpcd wlp4s0
    run on boot.
Now however, this won't connect automatically so I tried running that command and got
wlp4s0: interface not found or invalid
So I thought okay, maybe the interface changed I'll check, so I ran
    iw dev
    but that simply spits out
    nl80211 not found.
iwconfig gives a similar response with
    lo no wireless extensions
So I thought perhaps my wireless drivers are no longer working, but when I run lspci it still picks up my card as
Network controller: Qualcomm Atheros AR93xx Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)
    so I guess not.
Netctl and wifi-menu also don't work.
    What should I do?

Ah, well thank you for helping me realize that there is something horribly wrong with how I've set up /boot. I have it on a separate partition that I've apparently not been booting from.
Edit to avoid double post: So I unmounted my /boot partition. And then ran pacman -S linux to reinstall it to the /boot directory I was actually starting from, and now everything works! Thanks!

  • Can't delete printer - client-error-not-found

After messing around with the installation of a cups based network printer (via a local Suse server) I came across some strange problems with my printer setup utility. Currently, I can neither delete nor add a printer from the list for the current user. When trying to delete a previously installed network printer I get an error message that the printer could not be removed (client-error-not-found). When trying to add a new printer I won't get an error message, but the printer is not being added to the list anyhow.
I already tried to reset the printing system both with the printer setup utility and with the Printer Setup Repair Tool from Fixamac, both without success.
I have to note that for user root everything works fine!
    Any suggestions?

MacBook Pro   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

Well, I succeeded in solving the problem by myself ...
The problem was a local .cupsrc file containing some apparently wrong settings. Removing this file solved the problem ...
