Can't sync calender items from IPhone 4S to IPad 2

I'm having problems syncing entries made on my IPhone 4S calendar to my IPad 2 calendar. I have both set up under a "Work" calendar in iCloud and under "Fetch New Data" have "Push" on with "Fetch" set up for every 15 minutes. It doesn't matter whether I make entries in a WiFi setting or not....it doesn't sync between devices. It's discouraging. Does anyone have any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Those settings are for mail, ensure calendar syncing is enabled on both devices in settings > iCloud.

Please try the following…
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

The most straightforward way (assuming your iPhone 3GS is running iOS 6, which it should be) is to use iCloud to house your contacts.
Then it would be trivial to have your contacts synced and maintained between your MacBook Pro and your iPhone.
P.S.: Sorry, I said contacts but meant notes. iCloud would work for both.

I synced some iPhoto events from my Mac to the new iPhoto app on my iPhone. Then I edited some pictures, red-eye removal and warm/cool balance. Is there a way that the changes to my photo can be copied to iPhoto on my Mac because it doesn't seem to work automatically through syncing.

Connect your iPhone with the cable.
In iTunes, select your phone under Devices and go to the Photos tab on the right.
There you can say "Sync photos from iPhoto" and also select which events you want to sync.
So the photo's sync. But what does NOT sync, is the editing of photo's on your phone, such as red-eye removal.

Finally I got a solution from an Apple guy today. First we did the following steps on an iPad and then on iPhone.
Basically, it comes down to this:
general/restore/ erase all content and settings
set up the iPhone/iPad as a new device
type your iCloud account info
once everything is up and running, wait for a while and first check on contacts, calendars, notes if it's syncing with the iCloud, then open safari and look for the other device. In my case it worked and iPad finally detected iPhone and I could see the safari tabs from the iPhone on the iPad.
But then, Iphone still couldn't detect the iPad, so the guy said the original problem was probably in iPhone. And so we did the whole thing again on iPhone and then I finally had my tabs from all devices visible on every device.

my lap top was stolen and all my songs were on them, now i just have on the phone. i have tried to down load all my songs but the computer has told me that the iPhone belongs to another computer and has only down loaded all my purchased songs and not the ones that i had converted from records, how can i put these songs onto the iMac, can anyone help me.

I just discovered something yesterday as I was having the exact problems. Here are some questions that I'll ask with my comments next to them.
1. Did you burn CDs onto your computer's hard-drive? If so, your iTunes will treat these files differently than if you had used iTunes or downloaded an .mp3. There are quite a few different formats which can be played on your iTunes or iPhone. They are: .mp3, .wav, .m4a, and more . I have no problems with the .mp3 format, but I do have problems with the other formats. I believe that you would have to convert your format of your song from, let's say, a .m4a to a .aac. Then, I delete the .m4a format to avoid redundancies.
This was my biggest issue, and I hate it. It's very cumbersome. I hate iTunes, in general.

I've tried syncing my iphone to my itunes library, tried transfering them as well....no luck. The songs appear in the itunes library but have an "!" in front of them. I've tried locating them and when I go to my computer where it says they are not there. I am up to date with downloads and have a iphone 4s and itunes is on my pc windows7. You will need to do it that way. That would be the only thing I can think of that would be stopping the transfer of purchases. If you go into Task Manager and Services, is the Apple Mobile Device Service running? If you go into Device manager when the phone is connected, do you see the Apple Device Driver listed under USB devices? Have you tried disconnecting the phone and then rebooting the computer, then doing a reset on the phone holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone reboots and the computer reboots, connect them again?

L'ho attivato anche sul mio iPad, ma, tuttavia, dopo un breve periodo in cui ha funzionato correttamente, ha iniziato a dare problemi.
Vi descrivo di seguito ciò che ho rilevato:
- il periodo in cui l'iTunes Match ha funzionato correttamente sull'iPad è durato solo qualche settimana;
- in seguito, anche se tutti i brani della Cloud venivano visualizzati sull'iPad, dava problemi nel senso che i brani non venivano riprodotti e, inoltre, la durata veniva indicata in "zero" per tutti i brani, sicchè, cliccandoci, non venivano riprodotti;
- ho provato a disattivare e riattivare l'iTunes Match e, a questo punto il dispositivo ha dato il messaggio "tutta la tua libreria musicale verrà sostituita con quella su iTunes Match", mentre, nell'applicazione "MUSICA" erano spariti tutti i brani: veniva visualizzata, al centro della pagina, la nuovoletta del Cloud, con una barra di download sotto. Questo è durato per circa quattro giorni, senza che succedesse nulla, nel senso che la barra del download non mostrava segni di caricamento;
- allora ho provato a ripristanare le impostazioni e, a questo punto, erano visualizzati di nuovo i brani, ma comunque senza possibilità di riprodurli (la durata di nuovo indicata come "zero");
- nel momento in cui ho provato a cliccare su uno dei brani, è riapparsa la nuvoletta del Cloud con la barra di download sotto;
- quando i brani ricompaiono, hanno sempre durata zero e non vengono riprodotti;
- ho attivato anche la condivisione in famiglia ma il problema non cambia.
Vi preciso che il mio iPad è della prima generazione ed è aggiornato all'IOS 6.

I misread your post. You can't transfer items to iTunes without connection to your computer. To transfer without synching, make sure you don't have your preferences in iTunes set to automatically synch. Then when you connect your phone but before you synch, in iTunes File>Transfer purchases. Note that only iTunes purchased media can be transferred this way.

Are you currently in Japan or Hong Kong ? You have to be in a country (and have a billing address in that country on your account) to buy or download from its store, that is included in the store's terms.
You can sync content from different accounts from your computer's iTunes library.
