Can we change equipment serial number

I have very basic question.
We are creating Equipment Master automatically for every maerial-serial number combincation during is Good Receipt. Ther serial number is assigned manually or auto generated during Goods Receipt.
Now we would like to change the serial number but without changing the equipment number.
How can we do this?

    Due to a licence problem we applied for a refund and then re-purchased FB4.5 licences. Now I want to change to use the new license code but when I try to deactivate it says "Deactivation was not successful. Please try again. Error code #194:8".
    Perhaps this is because my old license code has been invalidated by Adobe or something.
    How can I implement the new license code?
    (I suppose I can just leave the old code if there's no easy way to update it).

    I lost my iphone 5 on 05th of May2014. The Find My iPhone was enabled but until to date it cannot be traced. My suspect is that the serial number and the IMEI number have been compromised. Is there a way to verify that this has been deactivated or been replaced? I also suspect that one of my co-worker got it and had this altered in a way.

    You cannot use a Windows version of Master Collection CS3 on a Mac.
    The platform swap policy is applicable for the latest version of the softwares and inapplicable for the older version.

    I would suggest purchasing a subscription to the Creative Cloud as the new Mac you bought has Mavericks OS which has not been tested with CS3 and you might face compatibility issues.
    The latest Creative Cloud version of the softwares are perfectly compatible with the latest Mac OS (Mavericks).

    the path to the UUT report can be configured in the report options.
    You can't specify unique path for each UUT in the report options.
    Both report path and UUT serial number are stored in the sequence context during execution. So if you want to know where those variables are located (in order to change their values during runtime), you can set a breakboint in your sequence, change to the variabels tab and do a search for the variables (you perharps have to play around a bit with the searchstring though).
    I've already find the place where TestStand holds the information.  The problem is that there is no proper callback I can override.
    I can only change the serial number in my sequence file.  But that is too late to include the serail number in the report file name.  The serial number inside the report does get changed.
    By the way, I can't change the process model.  User wants out of box batch model.

    More information is necessary to give you an answer that applies to your specific situation.
    1. What version of Premiere Elements is involved and on what computer operating system is it running now and on what computer operating system will it be running on the second (new) computer?
    2. How did you set up your first computer....purchased online download from Adobe to Window 7 64 bit, followed by install there OR installation from Premiere Elements installation disc purchased in box packaging?
    True, Adobe allows a purchased serial number for a given version to be activated on no more than 2 of your computers.
    That is a critical consideration. But in itself that becomes moot if other factors do not fall into place.

    Hence it is allowed to change various fields. This applies not only    
    to serial numbers, but to storage location, quantity and other fields.

    I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but the website recommend I ask here. I bought the CS4 when I bought my macbook pro in when I was in college. I remember there being 2 serial numbers, so I could install to one other computer. That macbook pro finally died, and now I have a new mac which I am trying to re-install the creative suite on, only I can't find the serial number.  The two stickers on the back of the CS4 box (which i thought were the serial numbers) don't look like that they're asking for, and the website listed on the inside of the box for me to register to doesn't recognize my e-mail (which hasn't changed since buying CS4).  Any idea where I could find the serial number?

    I have looked for the /Library/Application Support/ProApps folder and it does not seem to be on the HD. I also searched for the file to be trashed and could not find it. Could it be called something else in Logic Studio 8?

    The serial number was included in the box ARD came in; the Apple Store will not have a record of it. If you've lost the serial number, you'll need to purchase a new copy of ARD, probably a good idea anyway since 2.2 won't run on any version of Mac OS X since, if memory serves, 10.4. It's a lot cheaper through the Mac App Store than it was back when you first purchased.

    So far i found that there is standard change document object for sales order i.e. VERKBELEG
    Is there a way to add new table to existing object.

    Not fully sure about your requirement.
    But you can definitely assign Serial numbers to sales order items by selecting the item and  choosing  menu path Extras/Technical objects.
    Firstly you have to set up the Serial Number Profile ( T Code OIS2)  or use the standard delivered ones GG00/GG01. Both have the Serialization Procedure SDAU - Serial numbers in SD order and in case of GG00, the serial numbers are assigned automatically. I am not sure how automatic assignment works but you can test it. Of course, you need to specify the Profile  in the material master to use the functionality.

    re enter the serial number
    install Reader Extensions
    run LCM to rebuild ear files
    deploy them
    start the installer and enter the new serialnumber
    install Reader Extension
    Run LCM to rebuild the ear files
    undeploy the old EAR files from Websphere
    deploy the new ones
         re-deploy the DSCs  - I am not sure what you mean by this. Please explain.
    Restart the app server
    In AdminUI, import the RE credential file.

    how can i delete the unwanted eqipment numbers. can i use IQ02 or any other way to do?

    You need to find equipment records for serial numbers and remove from inventory. E.g. Scrape it or do inventory adjustment.
    1. in MMBE --> Right click on quantity --> Equipment serial number
    2. Keep list of all serial number with material number
    3. Open another session to scrape material with serial numbers (MIGO) or perform inventory adjustment (MI10)
