Can we change the parameters of the authentification's popup ?

Hello,
I'd like to know if we can change the parameters of the window popup of
authentification, when accessing a servlet, or an html page for example.
I created a realm, but i'd like to link it with my servlets or pages.

Actually I want to increase the screen size such that the browser scroll also expands and the pop up shows up and when the popup closes resizing happens.
Can you help me with some code samples of how to effect the above requirement?

    I have a datagrid. I am using an item renderer in one of its column to display a button. On the click of the button, I use a pop anchor component to open a pop up window below the selected row.
    Now My Problem is the fact that the the popup anchor opens the popup above the row as not does not find space below. My question is :
    1) How can I change this behaviour to ensure that popup anchor can increase the size to accomadte the pop up being opened? I am sure this require changes in PopUp anchor class but I am not sure how best to acheive it.
    2) Since pop is virtually part of the grid , can we effect change in size of the grid if the pop up is being opened at few bottom rows and it does not find enough space.

    Thanks !These are all dynamic parameters and thus can be changed without requiring the db to be down. That said, please check the oracle documentation to know about such things. Here is the link to the documentation, http://tahiti.oracle.com .

    consider you are having an input field....
    create an attribute of type string in the context.
    bind it to the read only property of the input field.
    now pass the value x to the input field, to make it read only  or pass '' to make it read write.

      DATA lv_read_only LIKE ls_context-read_only.

  • How can I change the aspect ratio of an image display

    I am snapping a sequence of images and using imgPlot to diplay the images. However, due to my camera specifications [it's a Pulnix 9701 with Pixel Size 11.6μm (H) X 13.3μm (V)], the image I get displayed is elongated in the horizontal direction, i.e. if I snap an image of a square, I get a rectangle on my computer display.
    How can I change the aspect ratio of the display on my computer? The only parameters I have seen so far just control what portion of the image is acquired or diplayed, but none actually changes the aspect ratio.

    If you are using an analog camera, you can set the aspect ratio in MAX. This will correct for non-square pixels.
    If you are using a digital camera, I don't think there is a way to fix it during acquisition. You could resample the image to correct the ratios, but that would be a slow, time consuming process.
    One other possibility is that your computer monitor is in a mode which is not a standard 4x3 configuration. For example 640x480 and 800x600 are 4:3 ratios. 1200x1024 is not, which tends to distort your displayed images.

    Sorry if this is simple but I just crashed a package and can't do an autopsy. I suspect I sent it into an infinite loop. I know you can't change the value of any passed in parameters. What I tried to do was have the parameter set the value of a variable
    and then I tried to change the value of the variable. Is that even allowed?
    I was trying to do this:
    MyCheckVariable = MyParameter (which equals true)
    (some cool stuff happens)
    MyCheckVariable = False
    I hit F5 and my package turned into the Energizer Bunny. Is the way I try to reset the variable the culprit?

    This is a prototype so I just created a project parameter and set it to true. In the real world the parameter will be used to control an optional part of the process because on a re-run after error that part doesn't have to be ran again.
    So when I say MyCheckVariable = MyParameter (which equals true) in reality what I actually have is in the variables window I'm using an expression and it looks like this in the variables window
    name = runDownload
    Scope = Package
    Data Type = Boolean
    Value = True (but greyed out)
    Expression = @[$Project::param_runDownload]

    The behavior is explained in Bug 4304609 .
    You will encounter ORA-29400 & KUP-04020 errors if the RECORDSIZE clause in the access parameters for the ORACLE_LOADER access driver is larger than 10MB and you are loading records larger than 10MB. Which means their is a another limitation on read size of a record which is termed as granule size. If the default granule size is less then RECORDSIZE it limits the size of the read buffer to granule size.
    Use the pxxtgranule_size parameter to change the size of the granule to a number larger than the size specified for the read buffer.You can use below query to determine the current size of the granule.

    There is no 'ideal' or recommended value for pxxtgranule_size parameter, it is safe to increase it to work around this particular problem. You can set this parameter using ALTER SESSION/SYSTEM command.

    hello rodale, what you're seeing is probably a side effect of firefox not being able to save certain preferences into its profile folder.
    go to ''firefox > help > troubleshooting information'', click on ''profile folder/show folder'' and close all firefox windows afterwards. a windows explorer window should open up - in there delete the file named '''user.js'''.

    Actually we are migrating the application server from Weblogic5.1 to Sun application server 8.2. The client is a mobile client and it sends the Cookie as 'JSESSIONID=session_id_val&WeblogicSession=session_id_val' as parameters, not as request header.It worked fine for Weblogic5.1 but not in Sun Application Server.
    To make it clear :
    Weblogic           :     request.getsession(false) = sessionObj@value
    Sun Application Server      :     request.getsession(false) = null
    Sun Application Server      :     request.getParameter("JSESSIONID") = session_id_val
    In the Weblogic5.1 we have set the cookie & session parameters in the weblogic.properties file as:
    weblogic.httpd.session.cookies.enable=true
    weblogic.httpd.session.cookie.name=WebLogicSession
    weblogic.httpd.session.neverReadPostData=false
    weblogic.httpd.session.timeoutSecs=120
    In case of Sun application server , JSESSIONID is not coming as a cookie , request.getsession(false) is returning null value.Is there a way to initialize the session with JSESSIONID request parameter?

    Just some small addition,
    The responsibility name change could have problem if you have the resp name hardcoded in your conc program parameters, or harcoded inside your code (host,pl/sql, reports, etc). So you should change it accordingly, or don't hardcode it, instead pass the responsibility name or id from the concurrent program parameter by passing from the profile values. The recommended way is to passed the RESP_ID instead of RESP_NAME.
    However if you passed on the RESP_NAME profile value it should be fine unless it is a scheduled concurrent request, you will need to cancel it and re-submit the scheduled request so that the parameter will take the new resp name.

    I'm not sure if You can change any request parameters...
    You can set e.g. a request attribute in the case that You get the request object from the faces context and set the attribute.
    something like this...

    Any advice or direction to information would be appreciated.

    I have a similar situation however a bit more complicated! It seems that when I was setting the birthdate I forgot to change the year so now my seven years old daughter shows up as a two months old! There is no way to change the birthdate because it shows up in light grey when I login into my daughters account and doesn't allow a change! The birthdate can be changed only when the child turns 13 however according to this she will have to be 20 before she can change it to show property 13 and here is where this is getting completely out of hand! Now to make things more complicated I have twin daughters and they came up with their unique but similar Apple ID, so changing one will require to change both Apple IDs! After being on the phone with Apple's customer support for about one hour I talked to a supervisor and the supervisor of the supervisor and their only solution is to create a new Apple ID! Of course in my case I will have to create two new Apple IDs, and I'm considering doing it. However when I started reading it becomes more complicated because I already made their Apple IDs part of my family group. It seems like you're not able to just let go of family member that is less than 13 years of age. You can only transfer it to another family, so Apple is making sure there are no kids left behind It seems like the only option will be to "abandon" the family and then create a new family with the new Apple IDs. If all this sounds bizarre to you it sounds bizarre to me too! If I can just put the kids in the car and drive them to the nearest one hour away Apple Store and have them show their credentials confirming their birthdate I would rather do that than having to spend more and more time with this issue, but that was not an option pointed out by customer support. So folks keep in mind that if you make a mistake your children's age is set in stone until he or she turns 20 if they happen to be seven at the time you made the mistake and no one can change this, even Apple! Now on the positive side I'm glad I didn't do the mistake when she was 13 or she will have to wait until she's 26 Most likely I'll be calling customer support tomorrow again and I will let you know how it went!

    You need to add that attribute using the config tool for your view configuration. Select the attribute All Day from the context node BTDATE in the available fields to your display field and then save it. It should now be visible in your UI and now you can select or uncheck it to make the time field enable. Check the below image
