Can we delete error records from PSA

Hi,
I am loading data from Myself source system to Infocube. I have 10 Laks records. Out of these 10 Lakhs records, only 2 error records were there. Due to this load failed. suppose I have 100 data packets, these two records is there in 98 data packet Now only 98th Data packet is showing RED in Details tab. So Now I want to use the data which is loaded into cube except the Data packet 98. Now my question is , If I change this request in INFOCUBE as GREEN , Can I see the data for records except 2 error records (Data Packet 98). Bcz, I dont have time to load this again. This is Quality system.
Or Can I modify those 2 records without deleting the request from the Infocube.
Please suggest me how to proceed.

Hi,
You cannot delete records from the PSA but you can edit the records in the PSA but for that you have to delete the request from the Cube. Then after editing the records in the PSA you have to load the records into the Cube by running the infopackage.
Otherwise you have to create a Error Stack from the Update mode and then you can load the records into the Cube without that records. The Error Stack will hold the incorrect records which you can edit later
But overall you have to delete the failed request from the Cube and then load it again for moving it to next target or for reporting

Hi Venkat,
As already mentioned by Ansel you can use a DTP filter to achieve this.
In the DTP, on Extraction tab, where it says Filter, click on it in change mode and there it gives you an option to create a routine.
Write a routine for your logic and execute.

Another thing........why your data oacket failed.......is your extraction got completed...........
If your data packets failed due to SID issue...........then you load the master data....delete the request without making it red from the target ............go to RSA1 >> click on PSA >> find the request and reconstruct it.........
Otherwise if you extraction is completed............do manual update.......ie right click on data packet >> do manual update.........before that make the settings background.........otherwise in foreground it will take long time..................

Editing error records in PSA

Hi All,
While loading data from R/3 datasource to PSA in BI side, the data load got failed due to invalid character present in the data.
When i tried to edit that error record in PSA i found that the entire datapackage containing the error record is skipped from updating into PSA. So i'm unable to edit that error record in PSA.
Is there any setting that needs to be done so that error records gets updated in PSA, so that we can edit it at PSA level and load further to datatargets.

Hi,
If PSA contain data records and if the records present in PSA contain invalid characters then the error would pop out.
But in your case you say that the error records are not visible in the PSA but you face the error!!!!
Check in the status and detail tabs in the infopackage maintenance screen to confirm the exact error that you face.
Please check the data present in your PSA via table. The table name of PSA starts with /BIC/B000*.
There is a possibility of the data present in the PSA could have got archived too.

First of all, remember the ripple affect of cascading deletes and updates.
Oracle database allows creating master/detail relationship between tables using foreign keys and allows cascading deletes by defining the FOREIGN KEY constraint with ON DELETE CASCADE clause.
Oracle Forms on the other hand, handle cascade delete thing internally when you set the relation properties.
Now if you have 3 tables with MASTER->DETAIL1->DETAIL2 relationship and you have a form defined with MASTER->DETAIL1 relationship only, it won't let you delete (and save) master or detail record since the third table (DETAIL2) is referencing the rows from DETAIL1 which you are trying to delete.
If DETAIL2 were present on the form, it would have deleted with relation property CASCADING. If you really want that when you delete a master record, all its details should be deleted too, then consider defining FOREIGN KEY constraints with ON DELETE CASCADE and on the form set relation property CASCADING.
And if all master/detail tables are on your form and still it is not allowing you to delete master with cascading, there must be some code preventing it. Check triggers like ON-DELETE, KEY-COMMIT etc what they are doing.

I'm in the same boat as you -- except that I manage both a school lab (volunteer job) and macs in the enterprise (pay job). What I think we need is the Education Volume Purchasing Program

Unfortunately this all seems a little rough around the edges -- for example, I have found updates for AppStore apps on the support.apple.com updates download site, but then when I install them via ARD they don't actually update the software. (The AppStore icons still show as needing the updates, and the version info reports the old version.) The documentation is also vague about which AppleID to use in which circumstance. I think they just haven't finished thinking through the implications of the various procedures and policies upon the various kinds of customers. When we deployed Mountain Lion on the school lab, we made an install usb and went around and installed it on each computer -- and it appears that you are on the honor system as far as paying for all of the licenses that you install. We did! But they appear to have no way to enforce it.
So far, I have only deployed 9 Lion macs in my day job, and our "solution" to the AppStore showing updates problem has been to drag the AppStore icon off of the users' docks so they don't see them!

Rudegar is correct - you cannot remove the app permanently from your account. There has been much discussion about this on the ASC site and many users have concerns for many different reasons. As suggested send feedback to Apple.
But remember this - your account is a part of Apple's official and legal sales records. In the real world - you just cannot delete a record of sale - for accounting reasons and for legal reasons.

Over the years this issue crops up again and again. Here are the cases I know about:
Case 1 - it simply doesn't work
I have a message in my inbox with a jpeg of about 300Mb. Select message, choose option "remove attachment" which is not greyed out, and it does not work.
Case 2 - it works if you save the message first
I move the message from the inbox to a mail box. Open the mailbox (select), select the message, choose option "remove attachment", result: the attachment is removed, a small text file is added and an error appears in the message "missing plug-in". The message size is reduced from 300Mb to a few bytes.
Case 3 - the option "remove attachment" is greyed out.
I've googled this at least 10 times and read all the advice about editing various files from the library and all the other hacks. The simple truth here is that the user should not be inconvenienced by such inappropriate behaviour. We're not used to this from Apple any more, not since OS X. Even Windows does this stuff painlessly. In fact this kind of function is something that Outlook and Exchange do incredibly well. If they didn't the corporate world would have ground to a halt.
My point: the remove attachment option should work all the time and should be redesigned. Right-click + save as + delete in the message would be a hundred times easier.

Hi Samrat Dutta,
          Looks like this FM can not be used to delete partner functions. Generally other parameter structures like appointment etc will have one field called MODE, there we give whether it is creation,change or delete mode. unfortunately for partner parameter structre CRMT_PARTNER_COM does not have MODE field in it to identify whether we are creating,chaging or deleting. i would recommond you try to find out some other FM to delete partners of Order. will let you know if i get come clue on this

Deleting a record from a standard table can be done only if table maintenance exists - Cehck tcode - SM30. But it is not advisable to delete records, coz the records may be dependent on many other tables. If u delete in a single place, there may be chance that inconsistency in the data happens and hence will affect ur financial statements.

Delete a record from a table in a Database with Database Connectivity

I can't find the function from the Database Connectivity library that allows me to delete a record from a table of the database. I tried to use DB Tools Free Object.vi function but this one deletes only the table created with a query.

I have used the sql query as described above and it works fine with access DB and the DB toolkit, the free object vi only deallocated a recordset's references this will noty alter the database since the record is a copy of the databases information. The SQL delete function is very versatile and you should be able to delete records with no problem.
