Can we disable few items while edit

Hi
When we click "Edit" button, user can change the value in the items in the Report/Grid lay out.
e.g
If the report contains 4 columns with 5 rows and user selected 1st row to edit. then user can update the value in all the 4 columns and will click "Apply Changes".
But i want to restrict the user to update only 1 column and restrict remianing 3 columns.

If you 'disable' an item and submits (UPDATE) the page, then disabled item value won't get submitted. So the disabled item value will get updated with NULL or you will get any validation failures messages, if you have any.
Better option would be, make the item read-only during Update. For the text item for which you want disable, edit that item,goto 'Read-only Conditions', here set the condition so that user can't edit it during UPDATE. Here you can use same conditions as of your 'UPDATE' button 'display conditions'

Your thoughts on frame by frame viewing are can do. However, the real time playback feature includes the concept of rendering the Timeline, when the program indicates the need to do so, to get the best possible preview of what you are seeing in the Edit area monitor. That is a major novel in itself. Each time you do a new edit you will get the render indicator message to ignore or act on.
Definitely go the free 30 day tryout route for Premiere Elements 12. I have Premiere Elements 12 (updated to 12.1) and it runs fine on Windows 8.1 64 bit.

Any way to disable automatic indexing while editing source?

Whenever I edit a jsff file (for example, type a character), I get a little box in the lower right corner with the text "Indexing 1 File." While this is going on, my text editor is blocked and I can't see what I am typing on the page, nor can I do anything else. This is really annoying and I would like to disable it. I have looked through Tools | Preferences, but can't find a setting. Is there any way to disable file indexing during editing?

We have pages set up using InstanceBeginEditable comments to
define editable regions. However, we are not using templates.
Naturally, when I open these files in Dreamweaver I cannot edit the
areas outside the editable comments - this is expected. I'm
wondering if there's a way to disable this in Dreamweaver so I can
edit all regions of the page. As I said earlier, we are only using
the InstanceBeginEditable tags to lock down areas for Contribute
users.

Not as long as DW thinks you are editing an HTML page.
However, you can
open one of the pages, copy all, create a new TEXT page,
paste in, and edit
away. This is a pretty awkward way to work, though.

Can't keep my place while editing

When I am making changes to my library, I am always brought to the top of whatever list I am working on after each change. For example, I don't like a lot of genres on my list, I keep everything classified under about 12 headings, so when I add new music, I got to my genres tab and change the information for anything outside of my usual set. If say I change and Unknown genre to Rock, as soon as it makes that change, I'm brought back up to the top of the list, which for me happens to be Classic Rock. How do I set iTunes to leave me where I was when I'm chaning things. In some of the longer lists, it's a real pain to continually have to re-find my place after each change I make.

That was just one example. It's when I change anything that it moves my place either to the top of the list, or in the case of adding in song or artist names to unknown stuff at the bottom of my main library page it moves with it to wherever that item ends up. I just want it to stay where it as, either by moving to the next one down, or the next one up.

HTML5 is great and I hope to get rid of Flash as soon as possible.
That said, something is still bothering me when I play an HTML5 video (on youtube for instance): the screensaver is still on even though I'm full-screen.
Is there a config I missed or is it a bug within Firefox?

how to disable Cancel and keep workitem in Inbox button in the user decision.
As far as i know this is not possible. Just recollected reading this [old thread.|http://mailman.mit.edu/pipermail/sap-wug/2004-September/014240.html]
then the work item is regenerated for him alone.
Again this is a standard behaviour, as soon as the workitem is executed by one of the responsible agents it is reserved for that person so that no one can perform any action on it unless the first person replaces it intentionally. Yes, it would have been a better option to have it replaced automatically on pressing "Cancel and keep the workitem in inbox" but this is the way the design is. It is the responsibility of the agent to replace it manually (using "Replace" button) after performing any action on the workitem including pressing "Cancel" button. You may need to take care of this in the user training.
Additionally you can also schedule a report (may be once a day in the midnight) which can check for the reserved workitems and replace all of them using "SAP_WAPI_PUT_BACK_WORKITEM". This would make sure that the workitems are replaced to all users even if the user has accidentally forgot to replace the workitem. Again in this case the user cannot "Reserve" a workitem even if he/she wants to (as your scheduled report would replace it in the midnight).

I'm afraid there's no setting to disable this feature.
But if you want to view your starred/favourite contacts without seeing top contacts it is possible by downloading an app or widget that displays starred/favourite contacts. There are several apps for this like Contacts+ widget that you can try.

Firefox 8 hangs and spins after multiple saves of a post while editing a Wordpress website

After upgrading to Firefox 8, on our Windows 7 - 64 bit laptop computers, the browser hangs and just spins and gets stuck after I click "Save Draft" a few times while editing a post for our Wordpress website. After that FF no longer works to access any webpage or other website. Only shutting down the computer and restarting fixes the problem. Adding additional virtual memory to the computer seemed to allow more saves of a post on the Wordpress site before the hang occurs, but it still occurs.
These problems do not seem to be occurring with our Windows Vista desktop computer (32 bit), even though it too is running Firefox 8.

I've done a bit more playing around with this. It seems running xmodmap ~/.Xmodmap does work, it's just very slow and CPU-hungry. Reducing my .Xmodmap file to include only the overrides (4 of them) allows it to complete in about a second.
However, it's still not being loaded on login, despite being in .xinitrc. In order to get my keybinds to work in a program, I need to open a terminal, run xmodmap manually, then execute whatever program I want them to work in.
I tried downgrading xf86-input-evdev but my keyboard no longer worked on boot, once the display manager appeared (and I couldn't switch TTYs with Ctrl+Shift+F*).

Error while editing PO - deleting service line item and creating material line item.

In SAP SRM Extended classic scenario, PO is in 'ordered' status and contains a service line item. While editing this PO, I delete the service line item and create a new material line item. This gives me the following error.
Back end error: Enter G/L account
Back end error: LIne item still contains faulty items.
This happens only with service- material comibination and no other combination(material-service, service-service, material-material).
I need to know the reason for this issue and how it can be solved?

PO Values (Inc Tax):
Item 1: INR 228 L
Item 2: INR 27.83 L   (Payment also done in 2008)
GR for Item 1: INR 207.46 L
Remaining Comm = INR 21.01 L
Item 1 having 73 sub line items.... fo some of the sub-line items GR for some qty already done in last fiscals.
User changing for remaining qty.
Budget Report values:
Previous Years: Budget, Actual & Assigned = 304.85 L
                            Available = 0      (Carry Forward done for Budget & Commitments)
2011:                   Budget = 75.15 L
                            Actual = 53.86 L
                            Comm = 21.01 L   (Same as Remaining Commitment)
                            Avai = 0.28 L
