i have a web service ,but what is need that can i use the web services?
    is only then oc4j,or anything?

You need to write a client that will access the Web service and invoke it.
You can write the client in Java for example - and JDeveloper provides wizards for this.
There is a sample in the JDeveloper Reviewer guide here:

I've tried using SharePoint Web Services with BPEL, I'm able set it to use the sharepoint web service as a partner link in orchestration, but when I try to compile the bpel file, I get a "error: null" on the compiler log for the *.bpel file.

  • I can't use "Import Web Service".

Hi, I can't use "Import Web Service" in LabVIEW Web UI builder.
I write IP:8080 and click on Connect.
And it says "No Web ervices found on the server".
    Please help.

I think I'm one step from finished application.
So ... I've tried this building web service from tutorial and when I'm on the step when I have to deploy a Web Service to the Web Server I have a problem.
I rightclick on My Web Service under "build specifications" and click to deploy and I get this message in attachment.
My question is how can I start the web server ?
Thanks in advance and I hope that after solving this I won't bother any of you anymore.

  • How can I call external web service from BPEL

    1. I have "EmpService" webservice (simple webservice to get emp salary, not in BPEL domain) running in Oracle AS host1. If I want to call this web service from BPEL in another host2. How can I do this?
    2. Is it a must to deploy this EmpService to Oracle BPEL domain in order to call it? If so, how can I deploy it. As many BPEL example tutorial demonstrate the "obant" command to deploy the BPEL process, but not show how to deploy a external web service not in BPEL project. Please help. ...

  • Can we use REST web service as Data source in SSRS? !!!!NOT SOAP!!!!

    Hello,
We have requirement to use the REST web service as the Data source of SSRS.  Tried with XML as Data Source, but unfortunately I could not succeed because the query expects SOAPAction which is not available in REST Service.
Do we have any option to use REST Service, if so please provide some basic example, so that I can try out some options.
If not, do we have any alternate solutions to handle these situations?
    Thanks!
    Vinay

    Hi Vinay.
After looking on it for some time, I am afraid currently there is no document to talk on how to use the REST web service as a data source.
    You can use the link
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-US/library/aa964129(v=SQL.90).aspx for a renference.
From a support perspective currently this is really beyond what we can do here in the forums. If you cannot determine your answer here or on your own, consider opening a

  • Oracle UCM - Web Services and Authentication

    Hello all...
    Easy question...
Can you call UCM Web Services anonymously? Basically with "guest" rights? If so, any examples how...? I'm using VB.NET
More complicated question and advice seeking...
I am trying to create an ASP.NET form that will send an email with a content item as an attachment. I was going to attempt to use the web services to get the document info and actual files, and then use ASP to fire off the email. The user will either be logged into our site with (ExtranetLook component) valid credentials, or be viewing the site as guest/anonymous. As far as I can figure, I can only call the web services if I have some kind of authentication... I cannot call it w/o any auth, and I cannot somehow pass in the currently logged in users authentication credentials to the service... I really need to know the username/password, or use Windows Authentication (which is not possible on this public site). Any suggestions for how I can get around this problem?
    Thanks,
    Dave

No resolution here... it seems if we want to do this, we need to create an admin web service account, but that takes the users security out of the picture and we don't want to do that. We're looking into some alternatives here, but I'm sure that's not going to help you. Sorry.

  • How can I call a web service using JAVAscript in LCD

    hi guys,
I know it can call a WSDL in LCD, but I have not any WSDL web service , and I have a REST web service ,how can I call this REST web service in LCD? I checked some documents and found nothing...if it's possible that it can call a REST web service using JAVAScript code, I mean I can program some code to call this web service ?
    thanks,
    Jesse

    Hi Jesse,
You can do GET, PUT and POST using FormCalc, so you should be able to access a REST web service.
There is a example of accessing a RSS feed in this thread, http://forums.adobe.com/message/5695433#5695433

  • Can not set up Web Service datastore using HTTPS WSDL DS 4.1

I have been trying to configure a Web services data store to connect to an HTTPS Wsdl file
    Here is some background.
    DS Version: 14.1.1.210
    Job Server Windows 2008
if i configure the datastore and leave the field for Keystore path empty, i get the following error:
    Error loading [https://stgbbaaviation.taleo.net/enterprise/soap?ServiceName=CorporateRecruitmentSourceService&wsdl]:
org.apache.xmlbeans.XmlException: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 401 for URL: https://stgbbaaviation.taleo.net/enterprise/soap?ServiceName=CorporateRecruitmentSourceService&wsdl
If i put the path C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Data Services\ssl\mds\DSJavaKeyStore.keystore for the keystone path,
I get the following different error:
An error ocurred while importing metadata: WSDLException: faultCode=OTHER_ERROR: Unable to resolve imported document at 'https://stgbbaaviation.taleo.net/enterprise/soap?ServiceName=CandidateService&wsdl':javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building faild: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target (BODI-1111469) (BODI-1112446)
I have recreated the DSJavaKeyStore.keystore and added in additional certificates but nothing seems to work.
As a workaround i saved the wsdl file down to the local machine (I'm currently running designer on the job server machine)
i can then save the web service datastore and import the wsdl function.  but at runtime I get the following error:
There is no response for the web service <getMessageByIdentifier>. Ensure that the network, web server, and service are running
properly. Also ensure that the service client call time out is set properly.
    I have edited the
C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Data Services\ext\webservice-c\axis2.xml file as follows for the sections that are listed in the documentation:
        <transportReceiver name="https" class="axis2_http_receiver">
            <parameter name="port" locked="false">6060</parameter>
            <parameter name="exposeHeaders" locked="true">false</parameter>
        </transportReceiver>
<!-- Uncomment the following with appropriate parameters to enable the SSL transport sender.
Also make sure that the appropriate transport receiver is enabled above.-->
        <transportSender name="https" class="axis2_http_sender">
            <parameter name="PROTOCOL" locked="false">HTTP/1.1</parameter>
            <parameter name="xml-declaration" insert="false"/>
        </transportSender>

        <parameter name="KEY_FILE">C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Data Services\ssl\server\DS_server_privatekey.pem</parameter>
        <parameter name="SSL_PASSPHRASE">C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Data Services\ssl\server\DS_server_privatekey_password.txt</parameter>
I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong.  Not much detail in the documentation on what to enter for the Keystore path in the Datastore config.
also it is unclear if i don't have the correct certifications added to the keystore.

  • How to access UCM Web Service in Oracle.

When ever i am trying to run using
    SELECT checkin ('WEBSERVICE009','WEBSERVICE009', 'Document','weblogic','Private','IT/EBA/Distributor_testuser','D:/ucmfiles/test_WebService_11.txt') FROM dual;
    It's expecting username/password...
    Any body have any idea.

If you are using apex, you have access to the wwv_flow_web_services package that has all the procs you need to made this work. If not, you can use flex_ws_api, which, although a bit out of date, should still work. This can be found at: http://jastraub.blogspot.com/2009/11/flexwsapi-no-on-samplecodeoraclecom.html
Hopefully this will get you the start you need. Don't forget soapUI. This has proved to be invaluable in my development just to prove something works. It becomes a very easy way when I keep hearing, "UCM doesn't work....".

  • Basic http authentication not working when consuming Web Service in BPEL.

    Hi,
I am consuming an AXIS Web Service from BPEL 10.1.3. The Web Service uses basic http
authentication so we need a way to get username and password into the http
header. In the Oracle BPEL Process Manager Administrator's Guide 10g
(10.1.3.1.0) section 1.3.4.1 HTTP Basic Authentication (10.1.2.0.2) is stated
that this can be done using the properties httpUsername and httpPassword. I
have set the 2 for the partner link in bpel.xml but username and password does
not get in to the http header. Has anybody got an idea?
    Regards Pete

I'm having the same sorts of problems with 10.1.3.1.0. I've got a deployed BPEL suitcase that's trying to hit a BASIC AUTH-secured web service running on a WebLogic 8.1 server. I've set up my partner link according to the documentation, and the BPEL console Descriptor tab even shows the parameters correctly:
    partnerLinkBindings
    client
         wsdlLocation      awardService.wsdl
    spsAwardSubmitPartnerLink
         basicHeaders      credentials
         basicUsername      ko1
         basicPassword      xxxxx
         wsdlLocation      IAwardDraftServiceRef1.wsdl
However, when I funnel the resultant call to the endpoint specified in IAwardDraftServiceRef1.wsdl, none of the fields I would expect show up in the HTTP header:
    POST /pd2WebServices/service/IAwardDraftService HTTP/1.1
    Host: vm-orcl-app-srv:4444
    Connection: Keep-Alive, TE
    TE: trailers, deflate, gzip, compress
    User-Agent: Oracle HTTPClient Version 10h
    SOAPAction: ""
    Accept-Encoding: gzip, x-gzip, compress, x-compress
    Content-type: text/xml; charset=UTF-8
    Content-length: 3800

Is there some other configuration piece I'm missing?? I've tried the other variation using httpBasicHeaders, with the same results. I even noted that the "Oracle® BPEL Process Manager Administrator's Guide" says that "Starting with Oracle BPEL Process Manager release 10.1.3, all partner link properties are automatically propagated into the HTTP header." I've tried putting "extra" parms in the partner link bindings, but they don't show up either.
    What am I missing??
    Thanks,

  • Calling SAP Web Service from BPEL

    Hi
I am trying to call a SAP Web Service friom BPEL using the SAP WSDL.It requires a basic authentication (Username/Password) which i am providing as partnerlink properties in bpel.xml.
While testing the BPEL Process from the console, it is giving me an error
    "<summary>exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Bad response: 401 Unauthorized</summary>"
But when i am testing it from SOAP UI tool it is giving me the desired response.
Does anyone has any idea why it is failing from BPEL?Is there any configuration which i am missing?

    HI Ayush / Suryaveer..
I am stuck at the same situation, trying to invoke a secured SAP webservice. The invoke fails with a security previlege exception.
Am using the basicHeaders property to propagate the credentials to the SAP system.
Can you please suggest on the same.

Error Code: 10944642 Error Message: Error: Inbound SOAP Message - Session Token is missing or invalid or has expired
My understanding is Siebel needs special soap header.
I can build webservice proxy to call siebel web service, it works fine by overwrite the soap header function. However, I cannot make it work from BPEL flow.
    Does anyone have this experience?
    Thanks

Anyone has insight on this? Is it possible to call a WCF service with NTLM authentication from SOA.
    Thanks!

  • How to call a web service from BPEL that requires HTTP basic authentication

    Hi All,
I need to calling some Web Services from BPEL (SOA 10.1.3.1 production running on XP machine). The services require HTTP basic authentication.
I have tried adding httpUsername and httpPassword properties to the ParnterLink, and I see in BPEL Console that they are deployed by checking the descriptor page. But I still get a SOAP fault, HTTP 401: Unathenticated.
I have also tried using basicHeaders (from memory) = credentials, httpBasicUsername, and httpBasicPassword. Same result.
I have done a packet trace using Ethereal, and the headers do not seem to contain the userid and password at all.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks,

    Thanks Bas,
I have resolved the issue. The provider of the Web Service had not configured if for Basic Authentication. For some reason it worked when they tested, or maybe the did not test. The only thing I had to change was to use:
    <property name="basicHeaders">credentials</property>
    <property name="basicUsername">WMDATA</property>
    <property name="basicPassword">WMDATA</property>
    Instead of:
    <property name="httpUsername">WMDATA</property>
    <property name="httpPassword">WMDATA</property>
I don’t know why this is, maybe because it is an Axis Web Service.
    Sorry for wasting your time.
    Regards Pete
