Can we view Color & SIZE1 field from MARA in MM43??

Hi Ashish,
In MM43 on Basic data screen scroll down to see More Basic Data push button.
Once you enter in More Basic Data screen you have field there for size/dimension.
I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for.

We have a new Problem. We have to store the new Fields
in the EKPO. I use EXIT_SAPMM06E_013 with xekpo-ZZEINR
but it doesn't work correct.

Hi Dieter,
1. Insert new field ZZ_ZEINR with component type DZEINR in structure CI_EKPODB via SE11. Save and activated once done.
2. Go to SE51 (Screen Painter), enter program SAPLXM06 and screen number 0111 and click on change and select maintain in original language.
3. Click on Layout button and create text field and input/output field for EKPO_CI-ZZ_ZEINR. Save and activated.
4. Go to SE37 and enter function module EXIT_SAPMM06E_016 and click on include ZXM06U41. In here you can code something like this. Save and activated once done.
CLEAR: EKPO_CI-ZZ_ZEINR.
SELECT SINGLE *
FROM MARA
WHERE MATNR = I_EKPO-MATNR.
IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
EKPO_CI-ZZ_ZEINR = MARA-ZEINR.
ENDIF.

In a real-world application, no.
In a RW application, a typical need is merely to know the "logical role" of the button (i.e., the button that validates the form, regardless of whether its text is "OK" or "Save", "Go",...). Text tends to vary much more than the structure of the UI over time.
In this case you can get the source's name (+getName()+), which will be the name that you've set to the button at UI construction time. Or you can compare the source for equality with either button ( +if evt.getSource()==okButton) {...}+ ).
All in all, I think the best solution is: don't use the same ActionListener for more than one action (+i.e.+ don't add the same ActionListener to all your buttons, which leads to a big if-then-else series in your actionPerformed() ).
Eventually, if you're listening to a single button's actions, whose text change over time (e.g. "pause"/"resume" in a VCR bar), I still think it's a bad idea to rely on the text of the button - instead, this text corresponds to a logical state (resp. playing/paused), it is more maintainable to base your logic on the state - which is more resilient to the evolutions of the UI (e.g. if you happen to use 2 toggle buttons instead of one single play/pause button).

Can't create an authority field from zero.

I'm two weeks into heavy learning abap, and last day and a half I've been reading about authority objects. I've already succeeded in creating one with the ACTVT authority field, but I can't create an authority field from zero. I'm using a test only server, so I have full authority and play the developer and basis role in this case, to get the complete test package.
I've tried creating a domain with fixed data values as source of the element, as well as making a table for entering those values for another element. I've also succeeded in making those elements/table field the source of an authority field inside and Authority Object, I even got a checklist with my values as possible solutions inside the authority object (although there were no descriptions), but the same Report that recognizes the Authority Object with the ACTVT field does not recognize the Authority Field I created in another object.
I've double checked the object and field name, I've also checked that every entry in the Authority Check was upper case. I don't know what I'm missing.

I was finally able to make it work, I needed an extra table with text descriptions and language to get the description, and I was missing a reactivation of one element and then the reactivation of the whole chain of modifications to make it work.

How can I view my iCloud contacts from someone else's iPhone? I don't want to change their phone settings.

Yesterday I ran into a problem that was eye opening to say the least. I could not not access my contacts in order to find a friend's phone number. No one remembers phone numbers any more. God knows I don't.
I was on a jetski and it broke down. I was stranded at a dock miles away. I needed to contact my friend to tell him (a) I'm ok, (b) where I was, (c) to bring a tow. Of course I had no phone on me because it would have gotten soaked.
People were kind enough on the dock to let me use their smart phones to attempt to retreive the phone number and call for help. But I quickly discovered that it is impossible.
On an iPhone, I tried to use their Safari browser to go to www.icloud.com. When you do that, it simply redirects you to the apps. But it isn't my phone, and their apps are logged in to the owner's accounts. I wasn't about to update the settings in a stranger's phone.
One guy let me try his iPad with Cellular. Same problem as the iphones. It would not let me use www.icloud.com. It insisted that I use the native iOS apps.
On an Android, www.icloud.com would simply refuse to work. It would say it was not supported.
The question I have is: How can I view my contacts from someone else's smart phone in an emergency situation?
Second question: Why can't I use www.icloud.com on a smart phone's web browser like I can on regular computer?
I got lucky. I happened to know my mom's home number. Many hours later she was home and I was able to use a phone to call her. She brought up www.icloud.com on her home computer, logged on as me, and read me the phone number I was seeking. But what are the chances of being able to call a trusted person who has access to a computer to do this for you?

Without "pretending" to be yourself on the other phone (change settings) there's nothing else you can do.
iOS devices are meant to be single user and can't view iCloud.com the same way a Mac or PC can do.
You need to find a desktop or laptop machine (Mac or PC) to log in at iCloud.

Can I Add all the fields from POOL to EXTRACT Structure in LBWE

Dear Experts,
Our Client is asking to add all the fields in the POOL Table to EXTRACT STRUCTURE in LBWE that is he wants to add all the fields from Right Hand Side Table to Left Hand Side Table in the Maintenance of LBWE of all the SD Data Sources. For few fields there is no data even though they are saying that in the nearer future we are going to use all most all fields.
Like wise they are asking to add all the tables like VBAP, VBUP, VBAK, VBKD, VBUK, etc.,
My Questions are:
1.Is it advisable or recommended to add all the fields from POOL to Extract Structure because client desperately needs them.
2.Is there any performance issue when we add the fields from POOL to Extract Structure at the time of extracting data from R/3 to BI.

we can add all the fields from the POOL to Extract Structure, if really your business requires to pull all the data.
2.2.Is there any performance issue when we add the fields from POOL to Extract Structure at the time of extracting data from R/3 to BI.
Ofcourse, there will be performance matters, because we have to extract maximum number fields data to BI side. If we have data for all the fields in R/3, we may face performance problems like load takes long time.

Can't view time machine backups from old computer on new computer

My macbook pro laptop recently died and I am trying to access its time machine backup data through Finder on a different computer. In each one of my folders from different dates, however, the majority of the computer folders I would like to access (i.e. desktop, documents, dropbox, etc) have a little red "no" sign in the corner and prompt the following message when selected:
"The folder “FolderName” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents"
How can I gain permission to see its contents? As the former user, I know whatever passwords are restricting these files, but I don't know how/where to go to give permission to these folders. I've tried going into Disk Utility and changing the permissions there, but to no avail, despite successful changing of the "Sharing & Permissions" to "Read & Write" for all listed accounts.
I'm currently trying to view this on an imac OSX 10.6.8. The dead MacBook pro ran OSX

Time Machine or other disk migration
If Migration Assistant isn't running on the target (new) Mac, open Migration Assistant (located in /Applications/Utilities/), select "From another Mac, PC, Time Machine backup, or other disk" then click Continue.
Connect your external hard drive if necessary.
Type in your admin password when prompted and click OK.
When the target Mac asks you for a migration method, select "From a Time Machine backup or other disk", then click Continue.
Select the Drive, Time Machine backup, or Time Capsule. If you select Time Capsule you will be prompted to enter the Time Capsule password. After entering the password, select the Time Machine backup.
Close all other applications on the source Mac, then click Continue to start the migration options.
The source Mac will ask you to select items to migrate.
You can customize your selection by clicking to open the disclosure triangles.
After you click Continue, the Migration Assistant will begin to transfer files to the target Mac. The amount of time that it takes for migration to complete depends on the amount of data being transferred and the speed of the network.
Note: To view documents that were migrated, choose Log Out from the Apple () menu, then login as the migrated user. The migrated documents will be located in the migrated user's home folder.

View what photos?
Photos taken with the iphone are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera.
