Can we zoom and use value pairs for the axis?

I am utilizing visual C++ 6.0 and Component works for my current project where we are displaying some electrical faults on the CWGraph class in log scale. The X Axis is in duration format, i.e. ms, sec, min, day etc. and I am utilizing value pairs to properly display the labels values in the X axis. I set the major and minor unit interval values to zero and added value pairs for the X axis values 1 ms, 10ms, 100 ms ...1 day, etc. ( I looked at the answers to the previously posted questions for this!!). Hence I can show the values in log scale for the x axis succesfully. However, after adding the value paires, the two axis zoom option, track mode = ZoomrectXY doesnot work and I cannot zoom when I display the graph. If t
he value pairs are removed and use normal scaling, the zooming comes back. Is there a workaround to this problem.

Since I am using my custom x axis labels as value pairs, I need to check the auto-scaling false, otherwise the log values for the x axis and value pair labels mix and do not look good on the graph. Below are the settings I used for graph:
Axes->X Axis->Scale Style->Auto Scale: Unchecked
Axes->X Axis->Scale Style->Minimum : 0
Axes->X Axis->Scale Style->Maximum : 1e+009
Axes->X Axis->Scale Style->Log : Checked
Axes->X Axis->Scale Style->Inverted : Unchecked
Axes->Y Axis->Scale Style->Auto Scale: Checked
Axes->Y Axis->Scale Style->Log : Unchecked
Axes->Y Axis->Scale Style->Inverted : Checked
Ticks->X Axis->Tick Spacing->Major : 0
Ticks->X Axis->Tick Spacing->Minor : 0
Ticks->X Axis->Tick Spacing->Base : 0 ( All grayed out)
Ticks
->Y Axis->Tick Spacing : Automatic
The other settings are assigned default values.
Hence, as I mentioned before the X Axis values are assigned as 1 sec, 10 sec, 1min, 10 min, 1 h ..etc.
and all on log scale. I need to utilize value pairs for this I think. Since I do not want the auto scale values, I uncheck it. You mentioned by unchecking auto scale, one will not be able to zoom. If so, is there another approach to display the graph as I want and zoom at the same time?

Cs3 curve adjustament layer , can i zoom and use the hand too ?

i have a question about cs3 , under xp
i add a curve adjustament layer ,-> curve dialog (window) open -> well i can zoom with the mouse wheel
but if i keep the space keyboard pressed , i can't use the hand tool
when i click the space keyboard , it works like the [ok] button , in short if like i click on ok and close the window
is there a tip to use the curve adjustament layer , zoom and use the hand tool

That's the behavior you would expect in general when using the space bar while a dialog is open in Windows, since the space bar is normally expected to operate the default button - [OK] in this case. Just for thoroughness I did reproduce the issue with Photoshop CS3 just now, just as you described. I don't believe there's any workaround.
This is likely one reason why Adobe implemented the new Adjustments Panel in Photoshop CS4 to replace that dialog entirely. In PS CS4 and newer you get the functionality you desire - that of having the space bar invoke the Panning feature, even though you may be changing the parameters of an Adjustment layer.

Safari or Firefox are the optimal choices. At times Safari does not open links with smooth pagination of fonts and lettering / graphics are not clear. So I opt for Firefox. Be aware that you need to close Safari to use Firefox. It has been my experience.that if I forget to close Safari and open Firefox at same time Firefox error message says oops! I'm quite sure there is no "automatic" way to do this. I've never heard of anyone trying it either. I suppose if you wanted try it, you could simply create a new folder in the same partition TM is on, label it for that year, then gather all the days for that year and drag/drop them into the folder. I suspect (but do not know) you'd be risking the continuity of your backups, meaning TM would simply start over again, meaning that next back up would start a new series of backups, with the first one roughly equalling the entire capacity of your internal HD, instead of adding only the new data to the previous backup. Once again, I would recommend against it, unless you're fine with TM starting a new series of backups if it doesn't work out the way you want it to. Hope you'll post back with results so we can learn from it.

We had just been on a trip to Tahiti and there were alot of pics lost. I spoke to a representative at the apple store on Friday that recommended trying something since it was backed up to my icloud. She was wanted me to try to restore the device back to that date or before. Any tips on how to do this? I have trouble right clicking and am not seeing what she was talking about. Can't download and use latest update for Flash CC

Hello,
I am a PC user, Windows 8.1 I can't seem to download the latest update with Flash CC. I open Creative Cloud, and try and update. It goes from 0% to 50% to 53% to failure, consistently. Tried to uninstall and reinstall and the problem persisted.

Where can I find a useful user manual for the A1?

I am so confused I don't know exactly where to begin.
I tried to download an EPUB format ebook from 2 different websites, and all i get is a worthless "download failed" message every time, with no explanation of the cause.
The user manual included on the A1 has NO troubleshooting section, NO index, and apparently NO ability to search the manual. Where can I go for more complete documentation, especially troubleshooting, although a tutorial would be nice, too.

Alain Picard this error often occurs due to incorrect file permissions or corruption of licensing data during the Time Machine restore. What version of Photoshop Elements were you using? I would recommend that you remove and reinstall it using the uninstaller located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder.

If you remeber the password to that Apple ID then follow these steps
1 - Make sure you have an email address that is NOT an Apple ID
2 - Go to AppleID.Apple.com
3 - Where it reads Manage Apple ID - Sign in
Once you are signed in want to make sure the email address you are wanting to use is NOT set up as a "Recovery/Rescue" email for this account.
[To check this - Main page where you see Primary ID - below do you see the email address you want to use listed towards the bottom? Yes - Delete / No - Good ./. If made any adjustments "Save" Next on the left select "Password & Security" - Answer your security questions you set up "if you have any" then scroll towards the bottom and check to see if you see the email address you want to use. Yes - Delete / No - Good] <-> Also you can change your password on this page as well. Any adjustments made "Save"
Once this is done go back to the main page where you should read "Primary ID" and change the email address that is showing to the new email address youo want. "Save" Done

'Tis a common problem on old Macs.
Do as Allan says: open the door and blow out all the dust bunnies. Canned air from Wal-Mart or Radio Shack can be handy (though sort of expensive) especially for blowing through the back of the power supply. A cool Mac is a happy Mac.
Be sure your Mac can breathe. The air intake is on the bottom of the case, so be sure a deep pile rug or too many papers on your desk are not blocking the air supply.
Feel the power supply and the processor with your hand. They should be warm but not hot; if you have to move your hand away, that's too hot!
Check the fan on the power supply, and on the processor if it has one. Take a flashlight and peer in the back of the (Mac) case through the grille; make sure the fan is turning. If it's not, the power supply won't work for long.
Fans are not considered serviceable, though they will succumb to mechanics of determination. A CPU fan is easy and straightforward.
A fan replacement will not cure an already damaged power supply; the PS may already be done for. Used power supplies for a DA are hard to come by, and not especially cheap when found (c.$50). An entire working DA or Quicksilver may often be found for under $100 on eBay, and swapping in your HD is easy and simple... this might be cheaper and more expeditious than repairing an expired DA. Replacing a power supply is fairly easy, but it's a nuisance and requires a 2mm Allen head wrench in addition to the usual #2 Phillips head screwdriver.
In my experience, power supplies and CPUs are about equally likely to fail. There are a few other possibilities, but they are not nearly so common.
