Can you click on an image?

Question

var profile:Image = new Image;
profile.source = ("images/myprofile.gif");
profile.y = 50;
profile.x = 50;
profile.click ="this.currentState = 'newstate'";
addChild(profile);
I want it so that the image is clickable, how can I do this,
im stumped...
