Oh, and by the way, "This is not working" is totally devoid of any actionable information. Oracle emits actual error codes for a reason.

Sounds like a problem with Direct2D.
Try to toggle some Boolean gfx.font_rendering prefs on the about:config page to disable some features and maybe set gfx.direct2d.disabled -> true to disable Direct2D.<br />

You can also try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox:
*Tools > Options > Advanced : General: Browsing: [ ] "Use hardware acceleration when available"
*Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden.
*Use "Firefox > Options" instead of "Tools > Options" if the menu bar is hidden. -

Whenever I click on the button of Firefox 4.0 Beta 10 located in my shortcut bar. It opens after a very long time i.e. after 5-10 minutes after I get irritated and start using Safari. And sometimes it doesn't even open. Please look into this matter. :D
ThanksTry disabling hardware acceleration in your Firefox settings and see if it helps:
From the Firefox menu, go to '''Options''' and click the '''Advanced''' panel, then select the General tab. Clear the box in front of "Use hardware acceleration when available" so that it is unchecked, then restart Firefox. trying to download indesign for mac, photoshop and illustrator trial which i require immediately but your website is crashing/saying there is an error. Can you please advise when this will be rectified?
WHatever issues you have are specifuc to your local system, not Adobe. Since you have not provided any shred of useful,technical details such as system info nobody can tell you anything.

Can you please explain how this query is fetching the rows?
here is a query to find the top 3 salaries. But the thing is that i am now able to understand how its working to get the correct data :How the data in the alias table P1 and P2 getting compared. Can you please explain in some steps.
SELECT MIN(P1.SAL) FROM PSAL P1, PSAL P2
WHERE P1.SAL >= P2.SAL
GROUP BY P2.SAL
HAVING COUNT (DISTINCT P1.SAL) <=3 ;
here is the data i used :

Regards,
Renu... Please help me in understanding the query.
Your query looks like anything but a Top-N query.
If you run it in steps and analyze the output at the end of each step, then you should be able to understand what it does.
Given below is some brief information on the same:

test@ora>This query joins PSAL with itself using a non equi-join. Take each row of PSAL p1 and see how it compares with PSAL p2. You'll see that:
- Row 1 with sal 1000 is >= to all sal values of p2, so it occurs 8 times
- Row 2 with sal 900 is >= to 9 sal values of p2, so it occurs 7 times
- Row 3: 7 times again... and so on.
- So, total no. of rows are: 8 + 7 + 7 + 5 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 = 43

10 --
11 SELECT p2.sal AS p2_sal,
12 COUNT(*) as cnt,
13 COUNT(p1.sal) as cnt_p1_sal,
14 COUNT(DISTINCT p1.sal) as cnt_dist_p1_sal,
15 MIN(p1.sal) as min_p1_sal,
16 MAX(p1.sal) as max_p1_sal
17 FROM psal p1, psal p2
18 WHERE p1.sal >= p2.sal
19 GROUP BY p2.sal;

800 4 4 3 800 1000
900 6 6 2 900 1000
1000 1 1 1 1000 1000
test@ora>
test@ora>Now, if you group by p2.sal in the output of query 1, and check the number of distinct p1.sal, min of p1.sal etc. you see that for p2.sal values - 800, 900 and 1000, there are 3 or less p1.sal values associated.
So, the last 3 rows are the ones you are interested in, essentially. As follows:
test@ora>

test@ora> -- Query 3 - GROUP BY and HAVING

1000 1 1 1 1000 1000
test@ora>
test@ora>
test@ora>That's what you are doing in that query.
The thing is - in order to find out Top-N values, you simply need to scan that one table PSAL. So, joining it to itself is not necessary.
A much simpler query is as follows:
test@ora>
test@ora>
test@ora> --
test@ora> -- Top-3 salaries - distinct or not; using ROWNUM on ORDER BY
test@ora> --
test@ora> with psal as (
2 select 'able' as name, 1000 as sal from dual union all
3 select 'baker', 900 from dual union all
4 select 'charles', 900 from dual union all
5 select 'delta', 800 from dual union all
6 select 'eddy', 700 from dual union all
7 select 'fred', 700 from dual union all
8 select 'george', 700 from dual union all
9 select 'george', 700 from dual)
10 --
11 SELECT sal
12 FROM (
13 SELECT sal
14 FROM psal
15 ORDER BY sal DESC
16 )
17 WHERE rownum <= 3;
SAL
1000
900
900
test@ora>
test@ora>
test@ora>And for Top-3 distinct salaries:
test@ora>
test@ora> --
test@ora> -- Top-3 DISTINCT salaries; using ROWNUM on ORDER BY on DISTINCT
test@ora> --
test@ora> with psal as (
2 select 'able' as name, 1000 as sal from dual union all
3 select 'baker', 900 from dual union all
4 select 'charles', 900 from dual union all
5 select 'delta', 800 from dual union all
6 select 'eddy', 700 from dual union all
7 select 'fred', 700 from dual union all
8 select 'george', 700 from dual union all
9 select 'george', 700 from dual)
10 --
11 SELECT sal
12 FROM (
13 SELECT DISTINCT sal
14 FROM psal
15 ORDER BY sal DESC
16 )
17 WHERE rownum <= 3;

Cofirmation #214861700. Would you please look into it? Thanks.
Please look into my refund for cancellation. Confirmation #214861700. Thank you.
Pat RegerI have called Adobe three times and each time have been told the refund will be or has been refunded or "we are looking into it", but so far, the $29.88 still has not been credited to my Visa
account.. It was deducted on 2/09/15. I think that is more than enough for it to be "looked into". Please do more than check in to it. Please refund the amount. Thanks very much.

thanks in advance..Hi
In this case instead of using AT END OF just create temp. which will hold in it last value of dc,every loop run, check it with new value, if it not equal - get the desired value
only condition - itab must be sorted
temp = 'x'. -->you need to put the first value
loop at itab.
if temp <> COKEYNO.
--->your actions to get your value
endif.
temp = COKEYNO.
endloop.
OR
you can add one more field to itab (better first) with COKEYNO
fill itab in this field and then
loop at itab.
at end of cokeyno.
endloop.

Can you please reset the "This Device Is Already Associated With an Apple ID"
So, i had an ipod touch 4th generation 64gb and have bought any movies and music. I got an ipod touch 5th gen 64gb for christmas and backed up all my stuff from previous ipod (4th) to it. My plan was to Use the 5th gen for games an photos ans social networks. And the 4th gen for Movies an music. On the 4th gen I created a new apple ID. When I went to the store I logged into my son's apple ID, to get one movie i had purchased for him, so i could have it on my device, so i wouldn't have to buy it again. After i downloaded that, i logged in back to my original ID, not the one i used to make a new one (4th), so i could get the movies i have bought previously. When i tried to do this, this came up- "This Device Is Already Associated With an Apple ID". So now i can't download the movies i had purchased previously. Can someone tell me how to reset this. Because I really dont want to wait 90 days to download these movies.
Sorry but there is no way to override the 90 day timer once it starts.

Can you please help with this select statement.
The following code has a result, I need to modify the select somehow which only gives me the rows which are common between all PLSTS.
Any suggestions?
Thank you
SELECT DISTINCT P.PLST, P.MENU, I,PNL, P.ACCESS
FROM AUTHITEM P, I.MENUITEM
WHERE P.MENU = I.MENU
AND P.PNL = I.PNL
AND P.MENU IN ('MSN, CPP')
AND P.ACESS >= 8
GROUP BY P.PLST, PMENU, I.PNL, P.ACCESS
HAVING COUNT (*) >=2
ORDER BY 2,3,4,1
This is the result with having count > = 1, and if I add having count > =1 I get the following result
PLST MENU PNL ACCESS
C001 MSN LNAME 14
C002 MSN LNAME 14
B008 MSN LNAME 14
B005 MSN FNAME 14
M009 MSN LNAME 14
C001 MSN GNAME 14
C002 MSN GNAME 14
B008 MSN LNAME 14
C001 MSN FNAME 14
C002 MSN FNAME 14
k008 CPP MNAME 14
I need this result
PLST MENU PNL ACCESS
C001 MSN LNAME 14
C002 MSN LNAME 14
C001 MSN GNAME 14
C002 MSN GNAME 14
C001 MSN FNAME 14
C002 MSN FNAME 14why bother with DISTINCT ?
have a look at the results of :
SELECT P.PLST, P.MENU, I.PNL, P.ACCESS , COUNT(*) ZCOUNT
FROM AUTHITEM P, I.MENUITEM
WHERE P.MENU = I.MENU
AND P.PNL = I.PNL
AND P.MENU IN ('MSN, CPP')
AND P.ACCESS >= 8
GROUP BY P.PLST, P.PMENU, I.PNL, P.ACCESS
ORDER BY 2,3,4,1
;and then apply HAVING COUNT(*) >= ... -
Can you please help fix this Update rule?
Hi,
I have a field (field1) in an ODS (ODS1) and the same field1 is also in ODS2.
Once ODS2 is loaded with data, I would like to populate the same field1 in ODS1 through the UPDATE RROUTINE.
So I went to ODS1 and in the update rules, selected field1, and selected the update method as Routine. I then assigned a name to the update routine and got the code below.
Can help me modify this code to fill the field field1 in the ODS1 if the following is true:
key1 in ODS1 = Key1 in ODS2 AND
key2 in ODS1 = Key2 in ODS2 AND
key3 in ODS1 = Key3 in ODS2 AND
key4 in ODS1 = Key4 in ODS2 AND
Otherwise leave the field blank.
PROGRAM UPDATE_ROUTINE.

$$ end of routine - insert your code only before this line -
ENDFORM.
ThanksHi,
Lv_field1 is a local variable to which you would be assigning the value of the field1 from ODS2. So thats the reason after assigning field1 value to lv_field1 it assigned to Result.
The select statement should be below the following:
FORM compute_data_field
TABLES MONITOR STRUCTURE RSMONITOR "user defined monitoring
USING COMM_STRUCTURE LIKE /BIC/Zaft_PPP
RECORD_NO LIKE SY-TABIX
RECORD_ALL LIKE SY-TABIX
SOURCE_SYSTEM LIKE TPSMMM-TSTSYS
CHANGING RESULT LIKE /BIC/ AABBTST00-field1
RETURNCODE LIKE SY-SUBRC "Do not use!
ABORT LIKE SY-SUBRC. "set ABORT <> 0 to cancel update
$$ begin of routine - insert your code only below this line -
fill the internal table "MONITOR", to make monitor entries
<b>Select Statement</b>
result value of the routine
<b>RESULT = lv_field1</b>.
if abort is not equal zero, the update process will be canceled
ABORT = 0.
Also the table definition is for ODS2 from which you would be reading.

Please Look into this.!! Viewing HTTP Server Response
Please consider this urgently..
How can I view the response Headers sent by the Server back to the Client??(The Client is a java application which has invoked the servlet via the URL class)
It is possible to check the client Headers with the following in your servlet code:
String contentType = request.getContent();
System.out.println(contentType);
How can I check the response headers of the server which it sends back to the client?
If on the server I say : response.setContentType("text/html");
what method I need to invoke on my client to see this content Type???
Please can any one respond..
ajayThis problem occurred to me - the applet needs to know the authorization data (ie: the user) which the servlet extracted via the request.getHeader("Authorization") method.
But if the browser obliged the servlet by demanding a user and password in response to servlet calling request.getHeader("Authorization"), one would think the browser would know the user and password.
Isn't there a way for the applet to obtain the user and password directly from the browser without having the servlet send it back via something like response.setHeader("user",user) ? -
May be a bug.. please look into this
Hi,
for ex:
there is a table like
desc trade;
trade_date date
day_high number
day_low number
day_open number
day_close number
there are many records right from trade_date 01-jan-05 to till date. If i want to query records of any perticular date returns no records, here sql query...
select * from trade
where trade_date = '&dt';
No rows returned on any date enetered when i execute in oracle 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
same query returns rows when i execute in oracle 8.0.4.0.0
It returns records when i write the same query like
select * from trade
where to_char(trade_date,'DD-MON-YY') = '&dt';
OR
select * from trade
where to_date(trade_date) = to_date('&dt','DD-MON-YY');
please tell me about this.
ThanksWhat values are you entering, and what range of values do you have on the database? '01-JUN-05' will currently evaluate to 2005 whether you use 'DD-MON-RR' or 'DD-MON-YY'.
Perhaps you have some dates in the database that are 1905 when they should be 2005?
It's safer to avoid two-digit years. -
Can you please help on this case
