Cannot connect to DB post installation

Question

Hi All,
I have a home PC on which i have installed CentOS 6 Linux. In this i have installed oracle 11gR2. After installation i am trying to connect to that server from my windows laptop. when i am trying to connect from SQL developer.
when i trying to connect i am getting this un usual error -- Status : Failure -Test failed: No more data to read from socket.
Then lsnrctl service details in the linux machine ( where DB is installed ) are as follows:

I am able to do tnsping from windows client....
Please help me resolve this... i am breaking my head since 2 days for the same...

Hi,
I had changed the hostname of the linux box as per its in the /etc/hosts file.
192.168.2.7 ora_11gr2.localdomain ora_11gr2
I am able to ping the server from my windows machine. I had stoped the listener and started it again.
I am still not able to login.. getting this error
Status : Failure -Test failed: Listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor
lsnrctl services -- gives me this

Checked that the oracle server is up ...
