Cannot email through Acrobat Reader (URGENT)

I have this feature "Click to attach this pdf to a new email message" on the menu bar in Acrobat 9...but when I click on it it does not open a new outlook message like it does on my other PC
OS - Windows 2003
Why could that be?
Under Internet Options I have Ms Office Outlook set as default
Under--tools-folder options--file types
I have mailto: set to outlook
Action open
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE" -c IPM.Note /m "%1"
What could it possibly be? Am I missing a setting somewhere else in windows? outlook? acrbat reader? security?

Hi,
If you want to send the pdf file via email, you have another option. Just open outlook, create a new message and click on attachments. Then attach the pdf file to the message and send.
To send a pdf via email you do not have to use the adobe toolbar.

Cannot Access Adobe Acrobat Reader After Canceling Adobe XI Pro Subscription

I previously paid for a subscription for Adobe XI Pro. However, I canceled the subscription 3 months later. When I canceled the subscription, I was no longer able to access Acrobat Reader for some strange reason. When I try to install it, I have difficulty. Why did this occur?

I cannot download the trial version of Adobe Reader on this computer - the only thing that comes up is that I did a prior download for one of the other Adobe produts - Adobe ......X - I don't remember the full name. Could that somehow be interfering? I have gone through all the other possible problem-solving techniques in the download help.

Submitting a PDF via email through Acrobat

What im looking to do is have a submit button, which i have created, and have that "submit button" either directly email the person it's supposed to go to or bring up a blank email with the persons email to whom it is supposed to go to already in the address line.
Lost is submission land

What are you opening it in> if Apple Preview its DOA (and I am a Mac User).
Also maybe you need to keep a Copy on your computer and on the other machine have the info sent as a FDF and have it fill in the Pdf on the receiving end If you've go to send by email. Most people here think using email for submittion is silly and Dangerous. They everyone wanting to do so has access to a server and need a web expert set it up to run on wbsite.
I know I did a submitt a PDF application form for an assciation years agoit was a Bear to get working found out a copy of the blank for had to be on the other end with the exact same name. But once I got it working it worked well.

If you are using an old version, I would suggest you update to the latest version of Adobe Reader XI and let us know if the issue still persists.

Problem with sending email from Acrobat Reader X Version 10

I recently purchased a new Dell laptop with Windows 8 as its OS. I had two email clients installed, one is outlook 2007, that has no contacts and then purchased outlook 2014 which I am using. When I installed Acrobat and tried to send a PDF file as an email attachment, it took me first to Outlook 2007. I closed the program, deleted Microsoft office 2007 and tried to send the email again. Now it is telling me that there is no email association with Acrobat . Please help. Thank you.

Try setting those preferences in Edit>Preferences>Email Accounts>Add account

Cannot Completely Uninstall Acrobat Reader

I have downloaded and used Acrobat Pro (latest release) in demo mode. I am running Windows Home Edition 64 bit on my computer. I let the demo version run out and have uninstalled Acrobat Pro. Now, when I try to open a PDF doc by double clicking the demo page asking me to register opens. When I close that pop-up dialogue/window my doc does not open. So - I guess the question is, how to I get rid of the Buy Now registration pop-up window?

Apparently you were using the Trail version of Acrobat, not Reader. I would suggest just installing the Reader to use for reading PDFs, then Acrobat would not try to come up. As to why it did not totally uninstall, I have no idea. It may be you have not rebooted since the uninstall and so you are still working on an old registry (wild guess).

Acrobat Reader 9 with an Acrobat 5-8 Created Form?

I am new to my job working with a ASP application that provides a PDF form (created in Acrobat 5) to users with free form fields the user can fill out. Users have been complaining that when the users upgrade to Acrobat Reader 9 the begin to see a message that "Some features are no longer supported..." and the ability to save a local copy of the file is no longer available. I have 2 questions.
Was the ability to save a local copy of a form with user-entered data ever a feature of Acrobat Reader?
Is that an issue that can be corrected by creating the form with the Acrobat 9 Life-Cycle engine or is that a feature that has forever been removed from Acrobat Reader for security or other reasons?

No I was referring to filled in forms.
So to be clear, the ability to save user filled in information in a form to your local machine as a PDF through Acrobat Reader IS possible, but has to be enabled by opening the form in Acrobat (9 for example) and enabling some feature to allows Reader users to save the information to the PDF file. This feature is limited though and has a 500 use limit per form.
Does that sound correct? Do you know the name of the feature?

There may be some features that are not supported any more but you may not be using them. That message is just a general warning.
As far as saving the filled in form, Reader on it's own has never been able to do it. You would need the newer version of Acrobat to open and enable these forms so that Reader users can save them. Be warned that this feature is meant for small-time use and has a usage limit of 500 submissions per form. You'll want to read and undestand the EULA before planning on using it.
Or do you mean that they cannot save the unfilled form either?

Cannot Print with Acrobat Standard X

One of my clients is running ACROBAT X Standard on Windowes 7 64-bit.. She cannot print any PDF using Acrobat to any printer. Print jobs never reach the queue. As a work around she muct convert to Word.
Printing as image does not help.
Saving a copy does not help.
I have applied al updates, repaired and completely removed and re-installed the product but nothing helps.
Also, the Printer Properties button and Page Setup buttons do not work. They are not disabled (greyed out), they just don't launch these functions.
I appreciate any help!

This sounds like one of those "oddities", contributed to by a few sources.
I can clear the Safari cache files as a temporary solution, but I encounter the same difficulties with the “problematic” files once they have been opened again.
Wondering if you disabled the Safari Cache would the refresh function work correctly? As a test you can disable the Safari Cache by Emptying the Cache first via the Safari menu, then Quit Safari. Now go to the Finder>Your User Library>Caches>Safari. Single click on the Safari folder, then Apple Key + I to open Info panel. There, check the "locked" box. This prevents further additions to the cache. The downside, you lose your ability to upload images etc. within Safari (my cache is disabled, so I use Firefox for the uploads).
Then restart Safari. Try the PDF from within Safari.

Are you able to email from Mail with those two accounts? If so:
1 - go to iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and delete both accounts. Now add them back and try again.
2 - a better solution IMO is to set Mail as the email client for iPhoto is iPhoto's General preference pane. This gives you better access to your contacts, a sent copy of all emails and, if you want a layout similar to iPhoto's, photo layouts located in Mail's stationary.

Reason I had to chat with Customer Support is that I got the following message upon placing Upgrade Order.
What Different Country? It's the US. The ONLY placed I've lived my entire life! Apparently some software changes were made to the site and the PR Territory fell in a no-man's land.
