Cannot have vidoes played via HBO GO, as there seems to no way to add Adobe Flash Player as an add-on/pligin.
When I visit the HBO GO website, I have no problems logging in, nor selecting a video that I want to view. After selecting a video to view, the "Rating Screen" appears, but then the next screen, in trying to "load" the video, does not function. That is, it just states "Buffering", and below it is a circle with a white "light" going through each of the circles (here is the link:

I do not have this issue with Safari.
I do not see any way of "adding" Adobe Flash Player as an add-on/plugin to Firefox. That software is required for HBO GO to function.

This is a known problem, but we don't have a solution for it. If your device has the Toshiba Market app, you might be able to download a (possibly outdated) version of Firefox from there.

You need to upgrade to Snow Leopard, but don't need to go past 10.6.8 to run the current version of Flash.

I click Download now (I don't have any antivirus software running or a firewall)

Why has Zuma Blitz and other games stopped working? I have downloaded and installed flash player but it still doesn't work.
IE uses a different version of Flash than other browsers use.

Other users and guest account could still view the CNN clips but I can view the Ads and then just a black screen? Any suggestions ?
I uninstalled version 13 and installed the version 12 as they suggested. Did not work.
On my computer now I have three accounts.
1. Mine - Flash Player version 13 originally worked but after updating (as was suggested by onscreen prompt) it did not work with Safari. Uninstalling and reinstalling Flash Playaer version 12 also did not work.
2. Second computer user can still see CNN video clips in Safari. 'This user did NOT install the update to version 13.
3. Guest accoount still can see CNN video clips in Safari.
Any suggestions how to get back to the original configuration on my account. Unfortunately, I did not know about Time Machine and did not have it set up (have subsequently tried to set it up but cannot seem to be able to select a backup disk).
Any suggestions appreciated. -

I have Mozilla Firefox and Adobe Flash Player 13 Plug-in won't allow me to watch YouTube videos
Up until last week I had IE9 and was able to download and watch YouTube videos with my son and play Facebook games. Then one evening I tried to pull up a Yo Gabba Gabba video on YouTube and the video window was blank. I had watched this video the night before with him, and the only thing I can think of is there was a Flash Player update that tried to download. I saw several posts that suggested downloading a new broswer, but I waited for 3 nights thinking it was just a glitch. I finally gave up and sent a pm to one of my friends who is a Internet Service Technician. She told me to download Mozilla Firefox, which I did, and the problem seemed to be solved. I was once again able to download and watch YouTube videos, as well as play games on Facebook. And it seemed my pages, pictures, etc. all downloaded 10x faster. That worked until the next evening and suddenly I once again could not download and watch YouTube videos.
I checked my system and it found that Adobe had done an automatic update so that instead of just having Adobe Flash Player 13 Active X I now had Adobe Flash Player 13 plug-in. I also noticed that Adobe Air was downloaded on my computer. I went in and uninstalled the Adobe Flash Player 13 Plug-in and I was once again able to download and watch YouTube videos. But when I tried to play games on Facebook I was told I would need to install at least Adobe Flash Player 10.0.2. I went to find that or an older version but each time I tried to download from Adobe I would get the Adobe Flash Player 13 Plug-in version, and once again I was unable to download and watch YouTube videos. I was, however, able to play the games on Facebook again.
Remember when I just had Adobe Flash Player 13 Active X I was able to do both while having Mozilla Firefox. I have looked all over the internet and I cannot find recent articles that talk about this problem. Can someone please tell me what I can do so that I can keep Mozilla Firefox, as it is 10X faster than IE9 and with Firefox my Facebook doesn't crash all of the time? But I also want to have the ability to download and watch YouTube videos with my son, as well as the play games on Facebook.
I should also note each time I went to uninstall Adobe Flash Player 13 Plug-in I received an error message saying there was a conflict with Mozilla Firefox and I first had to shut it down before the uninstall would proceed. Also, I received a reply on Adobe's Facebook page from a Tech who had me check to see if I had the latest version of Flash Player. I did have the most recent version. He then asked me to go to my add-ons and enable Shockwave. I followed the instructions and it was already enabled (or it said always activate). Neither of those helped me be able to download and watch YouTube videos. It could be a coincidence but when I upgraded to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.262 I can't seem to play any games on Yahoo Messenger with my friends. I know when I updated for some reason I had to try 3 times before it took it. It shows it's updated. I'm wondering if I have to un-install and re-install it. Also, I never use Internet Explorer 8 but when I went in there to check I found a plug in check link there and it showed over there that Adobe Flash Player needed updating but it was an older version and not the one Foxfire had me update too. Now I'm really confused if this is causing a problem. I have never had to check Internet Explorer for plug ins before. Have always just updated in Foxfire since that's what I use. The Adobe Flash Player seems to play videos okay so not really sure if that's the issue or not. My Java plug-ins have been fine and have been updated awhile ago, so I know it's not that. Well, after hours of trying to figure it out I gave up and un-installed and re-installed that last verion of Adobe Flash Player and now it seems I can play games again in Messenger. Everything else had been fine just that. I can only figure it was because it was having a hard time updating the first time and took me 3 tries. So even though it said it was installed, apparently it wasn't done correctly.
Though when I couldn't figure out what was wrong at first I looked and checked to see all the things were enabled that were supposed to be and they were.
I even tried to go to the Adobe site and download the last version I had and couldn't find it. Kept coming up with the new version. Others said if you download a particular older version it may not have all the security features in it.
This really gets to be a bit much, especially when you're by yourself and have only a smattering of knowledge of technical things.

I have just encountered an issue with printing PDF files on my computer. I am running windows 7 64 bit. I just upgraded to the latest Flash player with firefox addon. After I completed the upgrade, I soon realized that I could no longer print pdf files. Whenever I opened a pdf file and attempted to print it, through several different supported pdf programs, the print screen would up becoming unresponsive and I would have to close the pdf program through the task manager. I unistalled the adobe flash player and it's accompanied addon, and I was then able to print pdf files again without any issues. Can you please help me resolve this issue? Is anyone else having similar problems? Thank you in advance.Very strange! What is your installed Reader version?

Update problems with Adobe Flash Player preinstalled via Chrome. Can any one help?
Dears, I am using the Chrome and it says it has installed the Adobe Flash Player and the auto updater. I selected to be advised every time an update is available, before it gets installed. During the start up of my Windows system (i.e. the "autoexec" run) the Flash Player auto updater sometimes indicates there is an Adobe Flash Player update to be installed. Most of the time it is indicated BEFORE the autoexec finishes its sequence and thus still do not have an internet connection perfectly set up. At this point in time the adobe flash player auto updater window indicates there is an error and asks me to retry. Normally I wait a few seconds so the Autoexec run is finished and retry again. Most of the time the adobe flash player auto updater window indicates a second error message, claiming there is still an error. I have already attempted to connect the internet again and normally I am successful, indicating there is NOT a problem with the internet connection. At this point I give up trying to update the Adobe Flash Player and close the window. Can someone give me some light on how to fix this????
The Adobe Flash Player updater DOES NOT update the PepperFlash plug-in in Chrome. Chrome uses a PPAPI plug-in and Adobe ONLY updates the NPAPI plug-ins for IE and other browsers. You can ONLY update the PepperFlash plug-in for Chrome by updating Chrome. The PepperFlash plug-in is a separate file in a separate folder location.

Adobe Flash Player 10, when installed, closes the whole computer when it is used to play any clip from U Tube or other source. I uninstalled it and there was no further trouble but, of course, I cannot view the clip. If I reinstall it the same problem persists. I have contacted my 'computer guru' but his comment is that many of his clients have the same problem but it appears to be a problem with Adobe however many other friends have put in the version 10 Flash Player and have no problems. I do not appear to have any other problems with the computer such as viruses etc and it is scanned very day for such items. I would appreciate any advice you can give as it is very annoying, thanks, RAB

On both IE8 and Firefox. Win 7 32 bit on IBM T42 - 1GB ram.
Old laptop I know but the 10.1.x.x Flash Players worked just fine. Problem started with 10.2.152.26 flash player.
Now BBC TV live and iPlayer work just fine, however YouTube does not - audio but no video. Just a black rectangle where the video should be.
Right click to get the menu and "settings" is greyed out. However select the pop-out option and the video plays. Right click on the pop-out and "settings" is available. So deselect "enable hardware acceleration", close the pop-out and refresh the window (F5) and now YouTube videos play. Switch hardware acceleration back on and now they don't.

Ziatron is correct that Flash does not work on an iPad, but it does work on a Mac. See Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.160.
