Cannot see Cookies with new update of firefox. 
I recently updated firefox, but when I look on the PRIVACY window, where 
websites store cookies, I am no longer able to see any cookies that 
are being stored, and I am not able to delete the cookies as soon as I leave 
their site, as I had been doing for a long time prior to updating. 
So I am wondering where the heck are the cookies being stored now, with the 
new update? I like to be able to delete their cookies immediately, and 
I also wonder why firefox does not make it much easier for us to see 
all the cookies and delete them with one click, instead of having to 
use the <<TOOLS<<OPTIONS<<PRIVACY way of looking at and deleting cookies. 
The option to delete the cookies when firefox closes is not as efficient 
and I will get tracked until I close firefox, and I prefer to not be tracked 
so I like to just delete their cookies as soon as I am no longer using their 
site anymore.

I'm not sure why this would happen. But I think I did see another post a week or two ago about this. Have you tried rebooting your computer and resetting your iPad.
To reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

If you set the pref plugin.expose_full_path to true on the about:config page then you see the full path of plugins on the about:plugins page. 
It is best not to leave that pref set to true as it exposes that full path to web servers, so reset that pref to false after you are done with the about:plugins page.

Your apps were purchased under the old ID, so they will have to be deleted and re-purchased/downloaded under your new one.

HT4623 My iPod touch (4th gen) won't seem to get the iOS 7 update on its own. I've been updating it wirelessly for a while now but when I go through the settings to "software update", it searches but says "iOS 6.1.3, your software is up to date". HELP/Why

The adobe flash player shows in the plugins manager that it is installed but when i look in the program files for firefox ther is no adobe flash files

even tho the flash player says its installed it still wont work i have tried uninstalling the programs and removing all registry values for them (not all at once) i have tried every troubleshooting tip for both programs to resolve this issue
the flash player works fine on other browsers but not firefox

You can open about:plugins and about:config via the location bar, like you open a website (about: is a special protocol to access some build-in pages). 
If you get a warning when opening the about:config page then you can confirm that you want to continue.
You can also try to delete the file pluginreg.dat and let Firefox rebuild a new version.

D/l firefox 3.6 went fine but when I click on the icon it won't load

I followed the directions to d/l firefox and it installed on my computer (vista) It would not load or let me get on the internet. It does nothing. I un-installed it, rebooted and tried again and the same thing happen. Is there a setting I have to change? I had fire fox before and no problem at all.

I create a new document A4 landscape @ 300ppi, but, when I look at the ruler it has the document at only 842px wide.

Yes, so, as I was saying... for example when I place a 300ppi jpg into my new document it's huge, like almost 5 times the size of my document. Is this something to do with some kind of default setting to design at 72ppi to save on memory? In photoshop my jpg looks a normal size on an A4 300ppi canvas, so why does it look so big in illustrator?

Illy is in the habit of showing images at 72PPI, but you can just scale it down by multiplying the W or H value by 0.24 (just add *.24) and Ctrl/CmdEnter to retain proportions.
That will resize it to 300 PPI.
As to your question, some would just say that Illy moves in mysterious ways.

Apple TV quits unexpectedly and when I look at the Mac Mini where the Music is coming from, it says someone else is using the Apple TV. Any idea how this happens? All s/w is updated. Re-booted all h/w.

The Apple TV will play four or five songs from the Computer, and then stops suddenly. It's worked fine for months until a couple days ago. The message says the AirPlay/Apple TV is being used by another person. When I go down to the tiny icon in the iTunes box (lower right), it only offers Computer as option and no longer shows Apple TV as option.

Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel.

Firefox remembers my passwords, etc but when I use the saved bookmark and activate it, the log in data does not display

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")

You can't. Apps and really all content purchased/downloaded through one Apple ID is forever tied to that Apple ID. In the case of Apps they will always request that Apple ID to update as they are licensed to that Apple ID.
In reality, the Apps were licensed to that Apple ID by the developer. And cannot simply be given away to you for you to use.
He should have wiped the iPod clean so you could set it up for your use without any of his accounts or purchased content as you are not really licensed to any of those Apps.

Firefox 3.6+ versions have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.
Hit the '''Alt''' key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open View > Toolbars and select Menu bar, so it has a check-mark. 
The F10 can also be used on most PC's to temporarily reveal the Menu bar.

Cannot see photos with iphoto

I tried to backup my photos with a new drive. I had them all on an external lacie drive that was full. I moved the photos and now iphoto cannot see them. I made a copy on my hard drive but iphoto still cannot seem them. I opened the package and all the photos are there, thank god. However, I cannot get them into iphoto for browsing. Any ideas? I am running iphoto 08 and 10.6.8.

If you don't have a Preferences option under the iPhoto menu then you have a damaged iPhoto preferecne file or a damaged applicaiton. First make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a viable backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
If that doesn't help you'll need to reinstall iPhoto. To do so you'll have to delete the current application and all files with "iPhoto" in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder,
