Cant see all meeting in monthly view

I have Ical ver 2.0.5. When i am in monthly view some of my busy days with eventa such as all days events over lap each other so you can see all your meeting first time, you only know there is other events in that day as Ical shows some little dots at the top of that day. When you view the clanedar in a weekly or day view you can see all.
We are trying to move from Entourage to mail and ical, but these stupid issue in Ical is not helping me do so, Entourage will let you view many events in the same day in month view.
Is this just a peice of software or is there some that can be done

I am afraid that's how it is.
Incidentally, Entourage will show 7 events a day in month view before putting '...more' at the bottom of the day.

Seeing all events in month view

I need to be able to see all of my events in a day, while in month view. But instead on days I have 4 or more all day events I only see one or two all day events and only three dots show above these.
How can I see all of these events while viewing the Monthly view?

Can't see daily/weekly/or monthly views with iCloud

can't see daily/weekly/or monthly views with iCloud; having other issues as well

I can see them in 'Active Appointment" view, but not on my daily/W/M view.
(They are also grouped in 'AA" as appointment, recurring weekly, recurring monthly, and recurring yearly. This makes it hard to find the right appointment as I cannot group them all on one entry)
I need to have this so that I can tell by day what my appointments are...

Why I cant see all my info on the icloud??

Why I cant see all my info (that I have on my ipad) in the webpage of icloud?? Even if I just sincronized them...

You can see the Apple data (contacts, emails, calendars, etc.) but you can't see backups, other app data, etc. That's how icloud is designed - to see whatever data you want use the appropriate app on your computer or device.

I shared my project and saved it as .mov but when i reopen the fcp the project is one big clip, and now i cant re-edit the video, cant see all the clips, just one big clip,,,pls help, i need to make some changes to the project..thanx

Yes, we are talking about FCP X...this is the thing:
I worked on a project a few days ago and went to share - export movie.
Today, i opened the FCP again, to make some changes, and when i enter to the project, it shows me as one big clip.....i dont see it says compound clip....and i tried anyways pressing break appart clips...but nothing....could it be that i made it compound before exporting it..? if so how can i recover the un-compound version >?
I tried to import the saved .mov file, but it opens the same....as one long clip...

How can I print multiple lines in my All Day Events (month view)?

Does anyone know if there is anyway to print multiple lines for all day events? When I print my iCal from a monthly view, my all day events (positioned as a header) only print the words that can fit into the daily box, instead of going into multiple lines and displaying the whole text.
For example:
Los Angeles County Fair, Don't forget to pick up John and Jen
will print as:
Los Angeles County Fa......Jen
Anyone have any idea how to solve this?
P.S. I have already tried meddling with fonts and page sizes to no avail.

Would like to see 5-days in Month View

I'd like to see 5-days (without Sat/Sun) in Month View, but iCal keeps showing me seven. These are the only two options and for some reason the program won't accept my choice of 5-days in Preferences. A few of my colleagues took a stab at it without any luck . . . One of them thought it might have something to do with my being subscribed to other people's calendars---is that so? Can anyone help?

I don't know of any way to have an app do this. The best route may be to use a web site with the video and point all the iPads to that web page rather than trying to synchronize apps on multiple iPads.
Perhaps someone else here will be able to think of another way to accomplish this.

All-Day Events & Month View

When I'm creating a new All-Day Event, it immediately disappears if I'm in month view, but shows up in week or day view. This has never ever happened before... If it helps, I'm noticing that it's happening in events that I'm scheduling in April...

How to increase calendar boxes to show all appointments in Monthly View

We have a busy family schedule and like to print a traditional calendar with appointments to put on frig. In the "monthly" view, is there a way to enlarge date boxes in order to see all entries rather than the "+3 more" etc. At the least, I could do a screen shot, crop and print as a word doc. Thanks for any help!

This is exactly what's happening to me. I've been able to recreate this on a Touch also with OS4. It's not occuring on OS3. I've only been able to recreate the problem on July 30th and August 1st calendar dates for some reason. It may be happening on other dates also but I havn't been able to find any.
To recreate the problem go into day view on the calendar. Go to August 1st and create a calendar entry. Then touch the left arrow to go back a day then touch the right arrow to return to august 1st and your entry is invisible. It's still there because if you go forward a day then go back a day it shows.
I've been using list view only now to avoid missing these invisible entries.

PSE9 Organizer - How to see all files in Folder view?

In v8, there is a tab under Edit/Preferences named "Folder Location View" that allowed one to select either to see all files or just those in the folder that is selected. I can't find this option in PSE9. Anyone know what happened to it?
PSE0 defaults to seeing only those files in the selected folder, which is normally my preference as well, except when I am doing certain things and then I really need to see all files in all folders.
For example, I need/want to write my tags to the file meta data in all of my files, but I have to go to each folder individually to do this and then I can only do it on that individual folder. I really would like to be able to select all of my files and fire it off (yes, I know that would take forever, but I could go do something else while it is processing.)
This is the second reason that upgrading to PSE9 is really downgrading. One shouldn't lose functionality that has existed in several (all?) previous versions!
Hopefully, this setting has just moved and I can't find it. If not, Adobe, please add it back in ASAP!!

Oh, I forgot to comment on the ability to create an album instantly by folder name.
That really seems like a pretty useless "feature" for all but the most challenged user.
All you need to do without the feature is select all photos in a folder (ctrl a) and then drag them to the folder name. That just doesn't seem to be all that difficult.

Can not see all the SQL server views

My SQL Server 2005 (SP2 STD) has about 1000 views. When I created a Crystal Report using Crystal Report 10, I can only see about 225 views are listed in Database Expert. Here is the procedure to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a new Crystal Report
2. Create a new connection using ODBC RDO
3. Drill into DSN Name->DB Name->dbo->Views. Only the first 200 or so views in alphabetical order are listed on Available Data Sources on the left pane.
I am using SQL authentication and sa account to connect to SQL. So security should not be the problem. I can also use Access 2003 linked table to see all the views in my SQL server.
Is there a restriction on how many views can be listed in Crystal Data Source? Is there another way to add data source to Report without using Database Expert?

There is a default limit of 8000 objects that Crystal will see in the database.
I would suggest right clicking on your datasource and selecting Options. In the Data Explorer uncheck Tables and Stored Procedures leaving Views selected > press OK > then right click again and refresh.
If the limit was being reached then you should now see at least more Views if not all.
The default limit can be edited in the Registry (*Always recommended to back up the registry before editing).
The key is HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Crystal Decisions or Business Objects > (version number) > Crystal Reports > Fetch options > NTablesMax

I cant see the graph in discoverer viewer whith was created in the desktop

I need your help!! I have a problem to see a graph in Discoverer viewer. I will detail you the steps that I follow;
It was a difficult calculate report to results by Discoverer so, I create a view in the data base which show 3 field, Periodo(number) which is a union whit other field from other folder, State(varchar), Requirement(number).
From the discoverer desktop y have a crosstab worksheets and a graph, there I can see it without problem, but in the Discoverer viewer I can see the graph.
I tried to set the worksheets options in “show options” to show me the graphs too, but this options didn’t appeared there. Somebody know what I should have to do to see it?
On the other hand I changed the “show null values show” option since null to empty, and when I wanted to save the change this error appeared;
“Oracle BI Discoverer don’t had to found the necessary values to show the events…”

Hi Dora,
The graphs that you create using Discoverer Plus will show nicely in Viewer. Everything you develop in Pluys works in Viewer. They are companion products.
You must realize that Discoverer Plus/Viewer and Desktop are two seperate product sets and they use different techniques for graph creation. There are other differencies between the two that suggests that you need to develop all reports using Discoverer Plus in stead of Discoverer Desktop.
I have experienced workbook created in Plus being destroyed when opened and saved using Desktop. So for a long time I have simply forgotten all about Desktop. If your company is relying on both Viewer and Dersktop I suggest that the time has come to change strategy and technique.

Changing the default event time to all-day in Month View?

I updated to Mavericks today, and when I went to add an event to my Calendar, I discovered that all-day was not the default time. In Mountain Lion, when going to add an event in Month View, it was automatically set to all-day, which is perfect because all of my events are all-day events. Now, it's being set to 9:00 to 10:00, and I have to check the box to make it all-day. I know that this isn't much work, but when I'm adding dozens of events it starts to get a little annoying.
Calendar 7.0, OS X 10.9 (Mavericks).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think that it is possible, even using Terminal. If you want to change your workflow, "all day" events can easily be created in the Day/Week view, but as you stated the Month view poses a problem.

To make:
An event that lasts all day:
In Day or Week view, double-click in the “All-day” section at the top of the calendar.
An existing event last all day:
In Day, Week, or Month view, double-click the event, click the date, then select “All-day.”
A multiday event:
In Week view, drag from the start time to the end time. You can drag across multiple days.In Day or Month view, create an event. Then, enter the start and end dates and times.
An all-day event into a multiday event:
In Week view, drag the all-day event across multiple days.

ICal not displaying all events in Month view, leaving unused blank space

I think this is a bug or bad programming of iCal:
In the month view, I have for example a day with 5 or 6 events. When I change the size of the global iCal window, the size of each day is of course changing, displaying more or less of the events on that day; and displaying "..." when additional events exist but can not be shown. This is all fine... and normal...
However, I noticed that iCal is simply not making use of the whole space: when my day is bog enough to display all events, iCal is still only displaying half of them, and the "...".
This is really a pity as the white space is there.
Anybody observed the same behavior?

Is there any way to, in the Mavericks' version of iCal, get back the option to see the starting time of events in the month view?

It appears that it is dependent on the size of the calendar window. If it is too squished to display, it won't.
