Capturing an Array (PHP)

Question

The script below prints out a list of words from a table
named
px_glossary, field Word...

A str_replace function at the bottom links each word to
itself. (This is
a static page at MySite/Reference/Glossary, so the word "war"
would be
hyperlinked to MySite/Reference/Glossary/war.)
I can then display the entire list of linked words with echo
$Words.
However, my main script is a totally separate query that
displays
definitions and examples of a particular word that matches a
dynamic
page's ID. If the page is MySite/Reference/Glossary/war, then
only
definitions relating to the word war are displayed.
However, those definitions may include other words in the
glossary, and
I'd like to hyperlink those words, thus the first script I
listed. Now
I'm just trying to figure out how to make them work together.
If I paste echo $Words inside the second script - inside or
outside that
script's WHERE loop, it doesn't work. My ultimate goal is to
do a
str_replace on the second script that targets every word in
the
definitions and examples that match words in the database.
Anyway, is there some way to modify $Words in the first
script so that
it will still recognize every word in the glossary when I
move it
outside its loop to a second script?
I tried moving the last bracket from the first script to the
end of the
second script. In other words, I placed the second query and
WHERE loop
inside the first WHERE loop, but that caused all kinds of
problems.

Although you can give arbitrary names to the parameters, naming it quantity[ ] will not make it an array.
You've got it right in the sense you've given the same name to all the text fields.
<input type="text" name="quantity">
<input type="text" name="quantity">
<input type="text" name="quantity">
Name them something like the above. On submission, on the server side do a
String[] qValues = getParameterValues("quantity");
it will return you an array of strings, over which you iterate and get the values.
