CFMail Relay Messages

I have an event management application that sends
registration confirmations and details to registrants via email.
Nothing big or unusual there. However, the client insists on
keeping their mail server with a separate company.
We have been sending our emails out via cfmail with few
issues. However, because the mail server is on a different
server/IP than that of the website, we occasionally have messages
that get tagged as "spam". The error that comes is returned is:
Remote host said: 553 Bogus helo H104151
I've checked various spam sites and our IP is clean. In fact,
this is the only site on this IP that sends emails out at all and I
know it's not spammy.
So, I thought that I might be able to use the server,
username, and password attributes of the cfmail tag to set the
credentials for the client's mail server. I verified that my
credentials are correct and when I check the mail.log file, I see:
"Invalid Addresses; nested exception is: class
javax.mail.SendFailedException: 571 [Email:to address output here]
prohibited. We do not relay"
This VPS uses SmarterMail as its mail server and I went in
and told it to allow anyone to relay messages. I only made that
change this morning just to test and ensure this wasn't the
problem. After setting the relay to anyone, the same error appears
in the mail.log file.
Does anyone know if this is just not possible or if I'm
missing something in my settings, etc. to make it happen.

due to some reason cfmail setting are cached as long as CF
server running, try to restart CF service.
here are few hints, I know its allot pain
1: mailerID = "NetX.Mailer" add mailer id attribute
2: From address is important, do you use same address or
different every time
3: RDNS should be correct
4: SPF record is also important

Not sure what you are asking. I use yahoo for my email address. My cell phone can get the messages. They are marked 'read'. Later when I want to download emails to Thunderbird, it does not, because messages are mark read, and Thunderbird only downloads 'new' messages, aka already read.

The outgoing mail server is rejecting mail from your network address. Typically that happens when your mail service provider is also your ISP, and you connect to it from another network. The SMTP server will allow connections without a password from anywhere, but it will only relay mail from within the ISP's network. It could also be that your account on the server has expired or been suspended.
If you need to send mail from outside your ISP's network, use an independent mail service provider. I don't have a specific recommendation.

Relay messages via web

I am developing an application which is a kind of relay message filter.
It is actually meant for restricting commands destined to a remote host via the internet sent by another computer connected to the internet.
Since i cannot make changes in the application to which these messages are directed I have planned to develop a program which filters the traffic stream destined for that host and if the traffic contains any unallowed command typed by the sender then it should be blocked without the destination host knowing it.
this application is supposed to run on another computer which is on the same network as the destination host and it automatically relays the traffic to the destined host.
Is it possible to build such an application in java?
I shall appreciate any hints.

When the users fail to send/receive emails, are there any error message or NDR?
Try removing the “AllowInsecureRenegoServers” key and see whether the issue still persists.

Whenever i reply to an email i get message that receiver does not accept relay messages.

I have a work email. Whenever I set it up on my Iphone 5 I dont get my calendar. Whenever I try responding to an email I get message "receiver does not accept relay messages"

Your outgoing mail server settings is wrong. Go back in and make sure the password is correct.

GWIA - "Will Not Relay" Message

I have a GroupWise mail system set up with two mail servers:
1 Windows Server 2003 SP1 - GFI MailEssentials, GFI MailSecurity, and
GroupWise WebAccess front-end.
1 Netware 6.5SP6 - GroupWise 7.1 GWIA, POA, MTA, and WebAcc / Document Agents.
The way our system works is that mail is delivered to our ISP, and picked
up by the GFI MailEssentials server. GFI MailSecurity scans the mail, and
if all is good, forwards it to our GroupWise server. Our server is
configured to only accept relaying through the IP address of the other mail
server.
Recently I was at the console and noticed that on the GWIA screen, there
was the following:
00:36:53 454 DMN: MSG 1854 Will not relay: [email protected] (219.91.104.28)
Does this mean that a message from [email protected] was not able to be
delivered to one of my users, or does it mean that someone from the outside
is trying to relay that message through my server?
This is the first time I have seen this message. I browsed the logs and it
only showed up once.

How would someone from the outside know I have a mail server? I have my
firewall configured to block tcp and udp port scans. I ran a test and it
showed to be "invisible" to the outside.
Is there anything I should do?

Help with CFMAIL error message ...

Up until yesterday my CFMAIL templates were working fine. Now
I get the following error which I cannot track down anywhere:
450 4.3.1 insufficent free queue space available
CFMAIL is now sending the mails to
/opt/coldfusionmx7/Mail/Undelivr as you would expect. The Spool
directory is empty so there is not a big backlog there.
I cannot find out what this error message means and why it
suddenly arose.
Any guidance would be very much appreciated.

I still don't know what the issue is but restarting the
coldfusion service (in linux) fixed it.

No Undeliverable for Relayed Message

My GWIA will not return an undelivable message to a user who has relayed a message through it to an incorrect address. I am running GW 2012 SP1. On Novell's support site I found this Document ID: 7003172 which leads me to believe the problem should be fixed. Why doesn't it work for me?

I've just done some testing and found that this is indeed still a problem. Let me see what I can do about getting it reported to Novell.

I am receiving messages stating relaying is not allowed when sending mail while overseas.
Does someone know what this means?, and how do you solve the problem.

It means that you are not using your mail account provider's servers when you are overseas.
I don't believe this is solvable if your mail account provider does not provide a server for you to use.
The place to look on your iPad is Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > [your email account] > [under Outgoing Mail Server] SMTP > Primary Servers
That server is what is not available to you.
Contact your email service provider for more info and any possible remedy.

CFMail 1 Message Multiple Names Dynamically

Is there a way to send a mail message to multiple users. I
tried using the query tag, but that will send a message to each
person without the other names being listed in the two field. What
I want to do is have a variable that contains every person to send
it to and use that variable to send the message. For example the to
field would contain [email protected], [email protected]
I have the user info in the DB and I'm doing a query to
return the name. The only problem is that I can't make a list of
name. So far I have:

This method works differently than the one that uses

the valuelist method sends one mail to several people.

Relay message when the target system is down.

I've got a question relating to the MII.
I have the following scenario where the system A sends data to the system B, using SAP MII.
My question is If the MII sends the message to system B, the target system, and the same is down, the MII can hold the message in a queue for later transmission itself or not.

in 12.0 there are no out of the box buffering capabilities for Web Services. You may use the MII Queueing actions to queue the xml contents you want to sent. Schedule a job to read the queue entries and send them to the web service. If the call was successful, delete the queue entry, else leave it.

For SAP calls using JRA, you can switch on the buffering, as well as for MII queries. If a call fails, MII will buffer it. You can check the entries in MII Data Services > Data buffer entries. Scheduled jobs can resend the entries.

When I take my IPAD to another country and try send an e-mail to friends around the world or the country I am I her message - server can not relay message but I can receive without any problem. What is the fix? All settings are correct I have no problems

When I move from country to country. I can not send / reply to e-mails. All account settings are the same as when I was at home where there is no problem. Receiving is also not a problem when out side my resident country, what is the answer?

The easiest fix would be to just use safari and a webmail interface.
For example, I have yahoo in my mail app. But on some internet connections it just won't work, so I use safari to get to yahoo.com and access my mail that way.
Your mail provider should have a web interface and you could use that.

Email relay error message

When I try to send an email from my ipad the message goes to the outbox and I get an error message saying it can't relay messages. I have checked my internet connection and outgoing SMTP server and they are ok. My email provider is Optus and if I try to email another optus account it works. My tests however with yahoo and hotmail accounts gives me the relay error message.

Experiencing same event "<END-OF-MESSAGE>: End-of-data rejected: user not permitted to relay" on newest email account. Had not seen for first 3 days, now suddenly, every attempt. Account has sent less than 30 emails total in it's lifetime.

Exception in message manager (CX_WD_ABORT_MESSAGE_MANAGER)

I have a Web Dynpro application with popup views (using the window manager) to create/change data. All works well in one view , when the method to create/change the data returns an error I relay it to the message manager and it is displayed on the screen. In one of the views I have the same code to relay messages but method raise_t100_error raises exception CX_WD_ABORT_MESSAGE_MANAGER. Both screen have a message area in the layout, I cannot find any significant differences between them.

Relay access denied

I'm regularly getting an error while i send email outside to my organisation on either I use sun.net.smtp or javamail api to send emails.
It's working fine withing my organisation but for outside organisation let say to::: [email protected]
code is showing following error:
