Change href Content

I want to have one html5 href entry like <a class="one" href="page.html"></a> and then be able to change it with a text entry. If I entered text of Green then the href would become <a class="one" href="Green.html"></a> and the page named Green.html would open. Is there a better way to do this? I've looked at jQuery but am confused about how to use it. Thanks from a real newbie.

Sounds like what you're looking for is a script that will discern where the link resolves, so you don't have to put that in a href link.
I don't know If I'd want to do that. Even if it could be done.
You'll STILL have to modify the script with the proper destination links, rewrite the href link to activate the proper code in the script, and then have the page call them remotely when something is clicked. "That's the long way around the barn" as my old grandpappy used to say.
If it's a menu (set of links all in one place) you can use SSI (Server Side Includes) to call a remote menu sitewide from ANY page that has the same menu. A real time saver if you have hundreds of pages with the same menu, and it updates frequently, but for plain everyday hyperlinks throughout pages and throughout the site, it'd be a lot more work than it'd save.

i inherited the website. It’s for a non-profit and is not very
sophisticated, and neither am I in webdesign. It currently has multiple
pages that are identical except for that body section, so whenever i change
the navigation (in the sidebar) I have to update every html page. I want
to have one basic page, and just call in the different body content based
on the link the user selects from the nav bar. How can i do that using a
script? i am using Dreamweaver.

Any suggestions as how to fix this?

Firefox crashes whenever i want to install any addon or download any file. Some times i am receiving error while downloading any file like "could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder"

I am the user of latest firefox 3.6.6 browser. I am getting problems of frequent crashes whenever i tries to install any addon. The crashes also occures whenever i want to download any file.
I am also receiving errors while downloading any file like:

Adobe flash palyer is also giving problems of not responding. I am using updated version of it already. Java is also updated.
I already uninstalled firefox compeletly and re installed it many many times but still the same problem. I also scanned my computer with avira and malware bytes' Anti malware and got no dection. Please ractify this problem ASAP lest my profession will suffer.

When firefox trys to auto update, or I manually download the new version, or some but not all downloads off of the web, I get this error message. C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Temp could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder.

First off, when firefox trys to auto update, it fails. It tells me to try and download the new version from mozilla's site. When I try to download the new version I get this: (C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Temp could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder.)
This is the same message I have been getting when I try to download other things off the net. (When I use other browsers to download I dont have this problem)

How to change the content of GTC (terms and conditions) for Partner

We are using R/3 version of ISA B2B site. while creating order thru Shopping Basket we have requirement that We need to provide GTC (General Terms and Condions) for the Partner (View GTC link ). Right now some default text is displayed in that window (text text text ext text text text text text like that). we need to change this.
where i can change this text and enter our own terms and conditions.

Hi Siva,
the GTC is shown in the JSP b2c/order/terms_and_conditions.jsp. If you have a look at the file, you will find the following code:
<isa:translate key="b2c.order.termsAndConds.txt.dmy"/>
The translate tag will render the language dependant text for the resource key "b2c.order.termsAndConds.txt.dmy". To change the content that is shown you can change the resource text or create your own resource key in the corresponding resource file. The resource files are located in the src-folder of the web application DC.

I made a ClassObject 'Division' that is a subclass of the
oracle.ifs.beans.Document,
and I want to change the content of a Division instance while it
is being created because I can't change the editor (Epic) that
creates this object.
(and it has to be at creation time!)
To do this, I made a server-side class S_Division that
implements the extendedPreUpdate method.
I was able to get the content of the object when that method was
called for the 4th time
and that way I could change some attributes of that object that
depend on that content.
My problem is that I need to change the origal content into
something else using that extendedPreUpdate method
and I don't know how.
The bean-side Document class has an easy method setContent
(DocumentDefinition) for changing the content of its instances,
but the server-side S_Document doesn't!
So how can I do that using the server-side classes?
Maybe using the update(OperationState,
S_LibraryObjectDefinition) method?
Can someone give me some help or an example that shows me the
way?

Change href Attribute

I'm currently working on a website in DW8. This site has both
English and Spanish pages. The document names are the same but are
in separate folders ("en/home.htm" for English and "es/home.htm"
for Spanish). I put a link on the top right of each page for
toggling between the English and Spanish pages.
I created the pages using a DW template. Is there a simple
way to change the link sitewide? Maybe using Find and Replace? Is
it possible, using Find and Replace, to change "href=#" to
"href=['name of current document'.html]"?
Any comments would help. Thank you

Double click on it,

* where a folder content type is the first content type in order.
Reproducible behaviour
1. Create a Team Site in Sharepoint
2. Create a Task List "Test" on the Team Site
3. Go to List Settings
4. The Content Type order is by default
    a. Task
    b. Summary Task
5. Change the Content Type Order to
    a. Summary Task
    b. Task
6. Go To Site Settings "Title, description and icon"
7. Change the Site Url
8. Go To List "Test" List Settings
9. The Content Type order now is
    a. Task
    b. Summary Task
10. Select "Change New button order and default content type"
11. Here, the Content Type order still is
    a. Summary Task
    b. Task
Is this a bug? Has anyone noticed this behaviour before?

Hi Joachim,
You are not missing something or doing something wrong. i Hope :). This behavior is reproductible.
The granularity of change is better by Powershell. But by the interface is most user-friendly.
Maybe that's the reason of this behavior.

How can I change the content of JTable?

Dear friends.
I have an JTable. I create tablemodel for it and fill out it by data.
In application at the run time I always need to change the content of whole table. For example I have a frame with JTree and JTable. When I click on the tree node I need to retrieve the data about this node in the JTable.
Advice me please how can I do that and give an example please.

SOL I:
There solution can be simple if u've written a model for it.
If u are updating the data of the table by the setValueAt() method of the tableModel, in ur calling(mutating code), then just append a sinle line at the end of the method. U just need to fire a data change event corresponding to the event that has happened.
void setValueAt(Object aValue, int rowIndex, int columnIndex) {

//then last line can be
fireTableDataChanged() ;
OR
fireTableCellUpdated(int row, int column);
OR
fireTableStructureChanged() ;
depending uopn what has happened.
SOL II:
U may also try calling the method fireTableDataChanged(); from the place where the table data is getting mutated.

Problem with changing flash content - Need help

I need help in changing the flash content. Here is my proble,
1) I bought a flash template (I will call this Original) from a website and paid some money to customize my menu,logo and background color.
2) After they finished it they sent me several files. Like 1) index.html, .swf, psd, .fla. In all the files .html,.swf (the video) and .psd I am seeing my customize changes (logo,menu and background color). But the .fla file they sent me is still shows everything from original template. It doesn't have my logo, menu or background color.
3) I asked their technical support and they walk me through. a) Open the .fla file in flash pro. b) Change the content c) Hit Ctrl+Enter and it will export the new .swf file to the flash folder. d) Make sure I delete the video from flash folder and replace the name with the one I created.
I did all these steps. But the problem is the .SWF that i generated is showing everything from the orignal template. It did change the content but I don't see any of my customize request. (Menu, logo or color)
4) Then I open the index.html and I DID NOT see any of the changes in the content.
My feeling is they did not provide me the correct .FLA file. I really need your help.
My confusion is a) Have they provide me the correct .FLA file or I am doing something wrong. b) When I generated the new .swf video and renamed it properly why it didn't reflect in the index.html file.
I am really going back and forth with them since last 15 days and its not going anywhere. I really appreciate any help.

Unfortunately, if you have not enough knowledge about using Flash, and do not want to pay to have this done for you, the folks who did this for you are likely going to be the only ones who can help you resolve it. They should be able to provide the edited fla and the new swf if they are in any way a credible/reliable business.... which at this point sounds like they are not.

Table Control BDC to CHANGE the contents problem

I am having a problem in BDC. The screen is having a table control and I want to change the contents depending on certain conditions.
This BDC is not to upload the data but to change already existing data.
How can I dynamically know the contents of the screen or contents or the row so that I can select the correct row to be changed?

Suppose I want to update/change sheduling agreements <b>not upload</b>
I will be calling the transaction which will list the scheduling lines in a table control. The order of the lines in table control will be as per logic of SAP's Application program.
Now when I read the file and how will I dynamically know the exact line which should get selected.
Say my internal table is having the data to be changed but I can not determine the exact ordering of the records as per table control.
Hence I am facing the problem to know the exact ordering of table control
Let me give another example. Using ME12 transaction I am supposed to delete certain rows from info records say having condition '15EC'.
Now when I call a transction how will I know that for a particular vendor which line will contain this condition value so that can select the line and press delete

Changing file content with file adapter in 11g

My question is - can I change the content of the file with FTP adapter, this is 11.1.1.5.

I don't think FTP adapter was designed to change content of files... But it depends what you mean by change...
There is an append feature...

And you can always read the whole file, do the change in memory and rewrite the file again...
