Change or turn off comment highlighting

Is it possible to change or turn off the highlighting behind the comments? The bright yellow is a bit much and I'd like to tone it down a bit. I found where I can change the color of the comment text and other text (Window - Preferences - ColdFusion - Editor Profiles - Editor - Colors), but there doesn't seem to be any setting for the background highlighting.

Thanks Adam, that bug listing has a comment by Sean Smith that mentions exporting and manually hacking. He also has a blog post URL there, but I didn't follow it as it wasn't an actual link.
It is pretty easy to find though. I opened the file in Notepad++ and found this line:
<style background="rgb(255,255,153)" foreground="rgb(128,128,128)" id="WHITESPACE_TAG_COMMENT"/>
That was based on my having already changed the text color from black to a medium gray. So the foreground is the text color and the background is the highlighting. I simply changed the background rgb values to (235,235,235) for a light gray.
As a note to anyone else following this discussion, getting the rgb values is pretty easy by going into those preferences and clicking any color as though you are going to modify it. In the Color pop-up, click Define Custom Colors>> and use the spectrum in there to reveal the Red, Green, Blue values you want.
Save that *.col file and Import it back via the Preferences page.

How to turn off Roles highlighting?

I've accidentally turned on roles highlighting (Effects in this case) and can't get it to turn off.
When I uncheck the checkmark the highlighted clips go silent. When I click a different selection (like Music) the previously seleced clips return to normal but then music is highlighted.
What am I missing?

It looks like this is a general problem after ICS upgrade for Sony Xperia phone.I didn't have this problem before even in worse firmware 6.1.1.B.1.10, but after using 6.1.1.B.1.54 two weeks, I have the problem now... I can connect to AP after boot.After use for a little time, the process "wpa_supplicant" start running, and never stop, just like the screenshot below (right-top corner). When the process "wpa_supplicant" is running, I can neither turn off the WiFi, nor make any setting change about WiFi.What I can do is reboot.It looks that the WiFi status was been locked by this process. According the information on the web (reference), this issue can be fixed after delete the file /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant_bagscan.db. (rooted required)But this file will automatic generated by wpa_supplicant, so the same problem may happens again. Is there any way to fix this issue without rooted?

Change or turn off itunes hot keys?

Running 9.0.1 and I want to use some of it's hot keys for another program, but every time I use them itunes starts up and responds.

Never mind, it wasn't itunes it was my itunes controller program. Problem solved.

Unauthorized changes after turning off

Came back from a trip and turned our iMac back on. Then I noticed it no longer required me to log in. Then I checked the recent activity and noted that a System Preference app was listed.
Can anyone tell me what is going on?
Is there mischief a foot ?
If so how can I check it out?

An update.
It appears that I am guilty of not knowing how the iMac is suppose to work. What I found was that the login feature was bypassed when the computer was first turned on. Once it sat idle for a while the login appeared again. I guess there is nothing sinister going on, however I did notice that my Fire Wall had been turned off. Si I turned it back on and now I am waiting to see what no longer works.

Iphone 4, can i turn off email highlighting for days, dates etc

a newbie question that i can't find the answer to, when i send an email with my iphone 4 some words are often highlighted/shown as a link, words like days of the week, tomorrow, tonight, yesterday etc I would like to turn this feature off if possible, I find it a nuisance as do the people I send emails to, any advice or tips will be appreciated, thanks

while you can receive iMessage texts over wifi, if you mean receiving SMS texts then no. SMS texts require a cellular data connection to receive or send, so you'd have to allow cellular roaming to receive SMS texts.
If you only need iMessages you can enable airplane mode, then turn wifi only back on. You can always stop automatic emails by setting each account to "manual fetch" for receiving and then just be sure to never open the mail app so it never checks for email. Then just only allow wifi connections to free nodes and gwt your iMessages and/or emails only then.

How do I turn off the Highlight tool?

I have tried the following three things:
(1) Tools > Comment and Markup > [tried clicking on "Highlight Text tool" to un-check it, but the check mark remains].
(2) Comments > Comment and Markup Tools > Highlight Text tool (clicked on it to uncheck, but again, check mark remains)
(3) View > Comment and Markup > [clicked on the Highlight tool icon--which I had done to open it--but it remains shaded, meaning that it is still on]

See question above. Our website hosts think it's something to do with Firefox since it doesn't happen for them. When I go into a web page to update information, if it has a phone number, after I make an update, the words "Skype highlighting" extend all across the page. It's frustrating.

CHANGING THE INTERFACE COLOR SCHEME:
The Photoshop CS6 default interface is dark, but if you prefer the lighter interface you are used to from earlier versions,
you can change it back in the appearance area. There are 4 default color themes.
Mac Photoshop > Preferences > Interface
Windows Edit > Preferences > Interface
CONFIGURING LARGER FONTS:

Try to clear the Google cookies and redo those Google options.

I guess there's the lingering feature request of keeping the inspector open on a page after a refresh, but that's a more involved change than turning off this warning. A simple boolean in about:config would be great.
