I am using MOSS 2007 environment. In that I am having one SharePoint list. In that list based on column values rows colors need to change.

How to change the background color for lookup column options in sharepoint 2007

Hi,
I have a custom List with 10 fields,and in the edit form we want to display only 6 fields,
So I have customized it with sharepoint designer 2007 ,designed a new custom edit form(Insert->ShaerPoint Controls->Custom List Form)
We are using IE8 Browser,and the site has JQuery 1.8 loaded .
The lookup columns is getting rendered as textbox and dropdown arrow image,instead of select html element.
When we click on arrow image,its displaying the values magically,So I am unable to highlight the options with text "ABC" in yellow background color
basically in the input textbox its storing all the lookup values as "ID|value "in choices attribute (I saw this in browser dev tools)
I tried to set the textbox color everytime it loses focus using blur,however its always returning the previous value instead of current selected value.
Is there any way we can achieve this,Any solutions/thoughts

hi i bet you need to amend your jquery script to get onclick values and put it with like append HTML if you want to use Jquery.
Also did you know you could use javascript in calculated column with type number?

Setting JTable Background Row Color based on cell Value

I am new to Java and JDeveloper (so bear with me). I have managed to create a Swing form using BC4J (Jdev 10g preview) which contains a scrollpane with a view object represented as a table. I would like to be able to color the rows that are displayed within the table differently depending on the value of a cell/column within the row. Its not obvious to me from the property inspector how to do this - I assume it is possible as all the other bells and whistles appear to be in place.

Simon,
in Swing this is not done through properties but a custom cell renderer. You can check the Swing tutorial on http://java.sun.com for how to modify the default behavior of a JTable component. A very good book to learn Swing is "Java Swing" from O'Reilly (ISBN 0-596-00408-7).
ADF JClient uses Swing components and therefore everything you can do in Swing you can do with JClient.

Change Column Header / Column Background color based on a value in a specific row in the same column

SSRS 2012
Dataset (40 columns) including the first 3 rows for Report layout configuration (eg: the <second> row specifies the column background color).
Starting from the 4th row, the dataset contains data to be displayed.
I would like to change the background color of the ColumnHeader/Column based on the value in the same column in the <second> row.
How can I accomplish the this requirement? (this must be applied for all the columns)

Per my understanding that you want to specify the background color of all the columns/column header based on the value in one special column of the special row, right?
I have tested on my local environment and you can add expression to condition show the background color in the columns properties or the column header properties.
Details information below for your reference:
Specify the background color in the Column header: you can select the entire column header row and in the properties add expression in the Background color :
If you want to specify the background color for the entire column, you can select the entire column and add the expression, repeat to add background color for other columns.
If you want to specify the background color based on the value in the specific columns and row, you can create an hidden parameter to get the list of values from the specific column, specify the Available values and default values by select "Get
values from a query", finally using the expression as below to get the specific value you want:
Expression(Backgroud Color):
=IIF(Parameters!Para.Value(1)="1221","red","yellow")

How to change the chart color in report 6i based on its value?

I built a simple chart using Chart Wizard in Report 6i, with X axis = supplier and Y axis = rating. I want the chart to show different color for certain rating, eg: above 80% => red color.
Anyone know how to do this?

In SP list, you change the background color of field value using Content editor and javascript.
Add the content editor webpart on the list page with javascript which highlight the particualr value based on the condition.

Hi, in the past I already managed to change the semantic color of a cell by a condition (for example all the cells with negative number -> I set negative semantic color)
My question is how can I change the semantic color of the entire row where this cell belong, and not only the cell. Im using NW2004.
BTW, Im not a java programmer, neither a Webdynpro expert, just an ABAP Programmer. So try to be very explicit, Thx.

You can just bind correspondign property of every cell editor (TextView) of every column to the very same context attribute. Next, when you change attribute value for certain elemnt, the whole row (every cell editor in row) will get same value.

How to change the background color of a cell based on other cell background

Sorry if this is a basic question - I am new to XML. I want to create a table column, with no data in it. I then want to change the background color of the column based on the background color of other columns. I.E.
- If there are 3 or less cells in this row that are not green, color this cell green.
- If there are 4 or less cells in this row that are not green, and 3 or less are not red, color this cell yellow.
- If there are 4 or less cells in this row that are not green, and 3 or more are red, color this cell red.
If there are 5 or more cells in this row that are not green, color this cell red.

Okay - I have this resolved.
1. Create two variables (Yellow and Red):

Change the background color of selected row in adf table

Hi,
Can somebody guide me in changing the background color of a row when its being selected. In my ADF table, one of the column is of type Command Link. So whenever i click this command link on any particular row that complete row color should change as an indication of that row being selected.
Please guide me to do this. I referred to other forum posts, but they couldnt meet my need.

</table>, which looks much smarter. Is it possible?

I'm using a panelCollection and I need to change the backgroung color for odd/even rows in the table,
how can I do this, using a stylesheet, is there a special selector or property for this?
globalResultCollection (UIPanelCollection object) , is a collection of UITable elements, and it's working fine.
I just want to change the defaul background color for rows.

You could apply the following css style (by defining a custom stylsheet with the following lines and loading it into your app).
The last color sets the background color of the selected row while the table-view has focus (in this case to orange).
.table-view:focused .table-row-cell:filled:focused:selected {
-fx-background-color: -fx-focus-color, -fx-cell-focus-inner-border, orange;
}There are quite a lot of subtleties in the css styling for the tableview (e.g. different colors for the selected row when the control has focus vs when it doesn't or when the user hovers over a selected row in an unfocussed tableview), which you may want to cater for when chaning the background color of the selected row in a table view. There is also alternate styling for when the tableview is in row selection vs cell selection mode. So you may want to look at customizing further based on the css styles in caspian.css in sdk/rt/lib/jfxrt.jar if you can understand the complex css there.
