Changing the order of items in a weblog
We are using weblog server as a podcast server. We are considering creating podcasts with many items, or episodes. My concern is that we may have to reorder them, in case they are uploaded in the wrong order, or have to insert one later.
With a hand-coded RSS xml file, this would be easy to do, just change the item pubDate.
Is there any way to do this in weblog server? Where is this information actually stored? I realize the actual html/rss is probably dynamically generated, but the information must be pulled from somewhere.
Hi,
I thought that this was the case - maybe I can add it in as a future request!
Your idea of putting in extra buttons for Excel download is a good one since I'd also probably have to have a button for downloading to PDF using PL/PDF in any case. Better to have both downloads as buttons rather than the PDF download as a button and the CSV download on the Actions Menu.
Regards,
Chris

How to change the order of item records?
Hello,
IDOC - File
Required Structure:
Header
item1
child1
item2
child2
item3
child3
File now generating in the following manner:
Header
item1
item2
item3
child1
child2
child3
what changes do I need to make in order to get the required strucutre in the file?
so that for each item, the child gets displayed?
Nikhil.Target structure:
+MT_TARGET
++TARGET
+++Header
+++Orderitm
+++Ordchild
The Orderitm and Ordchild get the data from an IDOC segment named ZE1XYZ
so I have mapped Orderitm and Ordchild to ZE1XYZ.
thus, how many no of times, that ZE1XYZ repeat, im getting those many item and child records but they are being displayed in the following order.
+MT_TARGET
++TARGET
+++Header
+++Orderitm
+++Orderitm
+++Orderitm
+++Ordchild
+++Ordchild
+++Ordchild
===
the desired output should be:
+MT_TARGET
++TARGET
+++Header
+++Orderitm
+++Ordchild
+++Orderitm
+++Ordchild
+++Orderitm
+++Ordchild

How can I change the order of items in the iCloud Reminders To Do list?
I thought I'd been able in the past on my PC to click-and-drag To Do items within the list, but now when I do it, they bounce right back to their previous location. Am I doing something wrong, or is this functionality just not available?

Can I change the order of lines in a drop-down menu?
Can I change the order of items on a drop-down menu? Specifically, the "open" menu that comes up when I right-click on a link.
Putting "open in new tab" on top of "in new window" makes sense, of course, since it is used more often. But I do a lot of surfing, and had the old position in muscle memory. Re-training my brain to click on the first line instead of the second is taking a long time, and makes me grumbly.
I'd love to put it back to the old order. Can I? and, if so, how do I do it? (Please give me detailed instructions, IOW, please assume I am a complete simpleton, because sometimes I am.)
HP G62 w/ Win 7 home premium. If it matters, it's 64-bit.
And my old desktop, which has, yech, Vista. (I haven't upgraded it to F4 yet.)
Thanks,
RooWhere is that drop-down list, on a webpage?
Please provide a screenshot of that issue. <br />

It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.
Then use the '''Browse ....''' button below the '''''Post a Reply''''' text box to upload the screenshot. -
How do I change the order of context menu items in Private Windows?
In the context menu that appears when I right-click on a link, I prefer to have "Open Link in New Window" at the top of the menu instead of "Open Link in New Tab". I have added code to userChrome.css to make that switch:
#context-openlink {
-moz-box-ordinal-group: 1 !important;
#contentAreaContextMenu > * {
-moz-box-ordinal-group: 2;
Firefox version 20 added Private Browsing Windows. The above code still works for the non-Private windows, but doesn't affect the Private Windows, so in those I still have "Open Link in New Tab" at the top of the context menu, and "Open Link in New Private Window" as the second item. Is there a way to change the order of these menu items in Private Windows?Clarification: In the code snippets above, the "1."s are supposed to be pound-signs; they got auto-reformatted incorrectly.

Any way to change the order of the items in the Files Inspector? DW CS4
Hi,
I'm using Dreamweaver CS4 with my menus split virtically.
Is there any way to change the order of the items in the Files Inspector?
Specifially I'd like to have them in this order:
| Local/Remote Files | Modified | Size | Type |
The reason being that next to the 'Local Files' the 'Modified' column is most impotant for putting updated files/images, and in split vertical mode I have to scroll right to see the 'Modified' column.
Is this a feature request?
RichIs there any way to change the order of the items in the Files Inspector?
Yes, but it must be done on a site-by-site basis.
In the Site Definition dialog box, select File View Columns. You can control the position and display of columns there. The only one that can't be changed is Name. -
How can I change the order of menu items using Term Store Navigation?
A cool new feature in SharePoint 2013 is term store navigation. However SharePoint seems to be ordering my terms (menu tabs) alphabetically. This is not a desired action.
I tried to enter the terms in the order I wanted them to appear (IE - Home, About, Contact etc. ) but my menus are still sorted by alpha (About, Contact, Home). I have tried to change the order using the interface but it doesn't seem to work.
Any suggestions on how to obtain the desired effect? If there is no workaround this feature is practically useless.
The Web GuyNever mind, I just found the custom sort tab hidden away!

You changed the order of the menu for "Open in a new window" or "Open in new Tab", How can I change it back? Or how can I omit any reference to tabs? I do not use them at all.
You can use the Menu Editor add-on to rearrange or remove menu items - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/menu-editor

How do I change the order of the icons on the top right hand corner?
Hi,
I was wondering how to change the order for the icons at the top of the screen. I selected the option of not showing the battery status bar in the energy saver section. However, when I decided to add it back to the top, the order changed. This may sound strange but is there any way to get it back in the correct order.
Thanks1) Hold down the command key and drag them around.
2) Open System Preferences/Accounts Login Items and change the order they load. -
How do I change the order of songs?
Hi,
I have iTunes 9.0 (70) and I have my songs chosen in order by artist. I forgot how to change the order of songs.
I tried switching the songs categorized by the name of the song. That didn't work.
Please let me know how to drag and drop a song correctly. I just want to move one song by the same artist to a different spot in the queue.
Thank you.Hi,
I used to be able to do that left column thing, but it won't work.
First of all, there are no numbers in that left column (not sure that matters or why that is). There's just an arrow at the top facing to the left with blank spaces beneath it.
When I click on the left column, all that shows up is the cover art for the albums, and the list is changed the order of each full album. I still can't drop and move.
Sorry I don't know how to attach a screen shot of this. Hope I described it okay.
I'm wondering if there's a drop down menu item that needs to be changed or something.
Thanks so far for your help! -
How do I change the order of blog entries?
How can I change the order of my blog entries? I want to add some extra items with an earlier date but iWeb won't let me drag the entries around and insists they must stay in the order of the creation date. What do I do?
Dual 2 GHz PowerPC G5 Mac OS X (10.4.5)Chris...
yeah, I'm probably not making myself clear... change the date on the podcast page entry. Select the entry you want to edit, then move your mouse down to the actual page that appears below. On that page, below the title, is a date. Change that. It will change the date published in the entry list above.
Sunday, March 6, 2006
This is the standard listing... day spelled out, Month and day number, year. iWeb has to see it in this format to make the changes above.

How to change the order of the tabs in featured news?
Hi,
I use the 'Featured News' widget on my company website and it has 10 tabs. The newest item is at the top but when I add a new tab it goes to the bottom and I can find no way of changing the order of the tabs so that everytime I add new news I have to copy each tab and it's content down one place in order to get an empty tab at the top to put the new news item in. This takes an unneccesssarily long period of time. Can someone please let me know if there is an easy way to change the order of the tabs?
Thanks very much ;0)
JustineJust click on the title tab until it is isolated (one click before the text is highlighted) and move the tab to the position you want.
Thanks for your reply. I've done this in the past but found that the position of the tab in terms of it's place in the hierachy doesn't change so if I move the top tab down one, the way you've described and then upload the page I find that the second tab down (which was the first previously) displays first. How can I change the 'position of the tabs interms of their hierachy in the widget?
Thanks again

How can i change the order of elements in a JList ?
Hi,
i would like to know if it is possible to change the order of elements in a JList ? Maybe i could use drag and drop to do this ?
Thanks for answering.The simplest way is probably to implement ur own listmodel and then supply the listitems in the order u want. Example:
class MyListModel
extends AbstractListModel
implements ContactListListener {
public int getSize() {
return listitemcount;
public Object getElementAt(int index) {
//here u return the item for the index at the list
//if u for example have an array of strings
//which u wanna have listed in reversed order (reversed to
//the order in the array, u could do
return myarray[getSize()-index];

How can I change the order of the songs listed in a playlist?
How can I change the order of the songs listed in a playlist?
Hello Pokerplayer62,
In order to update the order of items in your playlists on the iPod Nano, you have to update them on the computer, and then sync the updated playlists to your device.
From the iPod Nano User guide here: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_us/ipod_nano_features_guide.pdf
To set iTunes to update iPod nano automatically with selected playlists:
Open iTunes and select iPod nano in the Source list. Click the Options button and click Music.
Select “Automatically update selected playlists only.” Select the playlists you want.
All the best,
Sterling
